Jobs/Vacancies / Re: People With Flat-Foot Cant Be In The Military: Why? by richs(m): 11:43pm On Sep 30, 2013
johnemeka: The simple answer is that there is a vein that passes through that curved area and the millitary boot is desinged with that curve. If you have straigth footh, the curve in the boot will constrict or block that vein and make it defficult for blood circulation.when one is on parrade the heart tends to pump faster to push More blood for metarbonism to take place for energy release to carry out action.
Anyone with flat foot will not survilve millitary because once he stays long standing or on parrade with the boot he will feel dizziness and will faint.
During my NYSC service I learnt about this from the Nigerian Red Cross society.this is why any time someone faints, you are adviced to remove the foot wear, belt, cap, loosen up the cloth.
Enjoy!!!

One thing stand out in this thread most Nigerians if not all are HYPOCRITES their comments stem from their perceive relationship to the subject in this case TOMPOLO, so if they are beneficiary of his largesses he is their hero and role model some even feed off his "achievement" vicariously on the bases of being from the niger delta region on the other hand they are those that view the subject matter with fervent disapproval, both parties exhibit a moral stand point which are relative, alter their perceive relationship with the subject and you get a different moral verdict,it is because of this age long problem that nations evolved a system of accontability rested in the judiciary or legislature to checkmate such excesses, this is not the function of the church or any religious body they can only be advisory to society and leave members to make their choice but because Nigerians have got this relationship wrong the country have become GREATLY RELIGIOUS and SCANDALOUSLY UNGODLY.The question now beg what happens when the unbiased apparatuses of accountability are severely compromised, my take is a greater law will prevail that of ORDER AND HARMONY these always enthrone their rightful place eventually in any hitherto chaotic system be it physical (entropy),cosmic(big bang),political(french revolution) ... the nugget here is universal law will always prevail over any named dysfunctional system in nigeria it is called corruption in south africa it was apartheid no wonder the GOD ALMIGHTY said HE regard HIS WORD over HIS NAME why? because HIS words are universal truth and the nation nigeria have deemed it fit to volunteer itself in the comity of nations and in deed the cosmic court to challenge these truth and prove to all that chaos(corruption) can prevail over harmony(accontability) so making the ALMIGHTY a LIAR,my advise is for all to sheath his or her sword and let cosmic retribution take its full course a house build on false foundation will naturally collapse you don't need a bulldozer,THE LORD IS SAYING TO YOU TODAY BE STILL AND KNOW THAT I AM GOD the ways of nigeria is a direct AFFRONT to GOD lets wait and see the outcome

citizens of nairaland your leaders know that Nigeria will separate someday that's the reason they steal with increase impunity, why?to feather their nest for post-Nigeria,save your little strength for your loved ones, Nigeria was sold and shared long time ago your rambling will amount to a BIG ZERO the only way out is a revolution not by civilians - you love life too much not minding the dehumanization and abuse you are going through- but unfortunately by the military its a case of choosing between two devils which will you prefer?your current crops of politician do not see you as citizens but rather tenants - ever wonder why 99.9% of the population yes can be subdued by 0.1% no voiced by men playing God in power, abroad you leaders live like royalties only to make those at home live like paupers. The truth is nigerians are too peace loving and will never put up a revolution that will cost lives and the government know this which is music to their ears the only intervention is the military although i am not their fan.Money is sweet and stealing it without repercussion on earth is sweeter thats why you are told to pray for the peace of Nigeria so leaders can steal more and live in peace i don't believe ballot box hold the key unless we love fooling ourselves there political prodigies being mentored in the fine art of state embezzlement warming up for power and even if by some miracle an upright leader emerge he will be surrounded by state sanction career thieves called politician. This is not about GEJ or OBJ its about systemic corruption the name of the players may change but the function remain same CORRUPTION. GOD HIMSELF IS INTERESTED IN NIGERIA FOR THE REASON THAT IT HAS BECOME AN IMPOSSIBLE CASE AND THIS IS WHAT HE SPECIALIZES ON FOR HIS GLORY AND HIS ALONE

remember bomb blast at ikeja cantonment and how lagos was in a state of panic before then all lagosian were talking BIG about WAR but after the incident they know better,my friend 'war no get actor' neither is it romantic as depicted in movies, majority of those who talk of war have not witness one first hand.solution Ndigbo go back south and settle when a child encounter danger he runs home no enemy will go that far without consequences.if they bring their bombing to the south then all hell should be let loose but this happens as the very last resort.

Career / Re: How Germans Abuse Nigerian Workers, On Nigerian Soil by richs(m): 7:25am On Mar 19, 2013
$tunna:

hmmm, im not sure weather to be surprised or not! so, niaja people r still serving white people 1st in restaurants??
as a young man i remeber they never used to line up, they just walk to the front of the lines n be served b4 everyone!! sad sad sad

i see the way naija police treat fellow naija people and how the rich wallow in shameless luxury with stole wealth to the detriment of our people, so in the light of this brutality from everywhere in society, its obvious that its more of a systemic problem!

where i live, if a white man or woman looks @ me the wrong wey, he or she could wind up in court or worse things could happen,

my problem with naija is that the people hav stubbornly refuse to give birth to a new way of seeing, doing and being, a way that will give rise to a great tomorrow, instead while the rest of the world is marching towards one direction, nigeria is heading on the opposite direction where we equate consumtion with greatness! people acquire education in other places to be able to create great things but we only tend to do so to improve our capacity to consume!

do u know the contempt that the German guy feels for u nigerians when on his way to work he sees Mercedes benz made by his people, driven untill it is no longer legal to drive n then discarded, but here in naija, the people who drive those same discarded benz r worshipped by the people
when he drives on ur roads he feels disgust but then he lives in ur land and hates himself for that so he comes up with ways to physically separate himself from yall so he does not feel so bad about himself for living in the midst of such backwards people!

thats the problem, seen. he try to tell himself , hey u r only here for the very good pay, but he also knows that he is a loser by association hence his dilemma! in germany, if a black man does that, one skin-head will shot him at point black n take the fall just to send a msg that germany is for germans, period.

meh
you are talking,i like that the world feel nothing but contempt for nigerians
Jokes Etc / Re: Hilarious Photos Of "His Oga At The Top" (NSCDC) by richs(m): 9:20am On Mar 14, 2013
Stallion84: Now the new line on the block is 'My Oga at the top'. But no one has condemned the distasteful way the channels crew ridiculed a guest on a live tv show. I find these channels cast so unprofessional. As much as I agree that the Civil defence representative messed up in a capital manner, but the unruly way these people handled the situation goes against modern journalism. The point has been obvious that after asking him twice, he couldn't come up with a tangible answer but three people kept repeating the same question over and over again. You should protect the guest as well while remembering that he is not an omniscience.
I watched a live session of a programme in 2006. 'one on one' where the jigawa state governor couldn't give a tangible response to all questions asked but the anchor was professional. He made the point known to us all and protected the interest of his host.
The Civil defence rep might not be the best candidate for his role or the live interview but using the whole scene as a cheap way to attain fame or viewer-ship is not the best. The show was not meant for that, its not Jerry Springer.
I think the NBC should do something about this and avert further occurrence.
the likes to the above quote are definitely the embarrassed yoruba nationals... Dazz all!

uzoo: After his Gaffe on National TV, the Lagos State NSCDC Commandant, Mr Obafaiye Shem, who was interviewed on Channels Television and couldn’t tell his organisation’s website, has immediately issued a statement in his defense, saying his “reluctance to put ‘dot.com‘ at the end of the website was totally intentional and not regretted”
In his statement, he says he “intentionally shied away from using the dot com”, as it sounded sexual, in fact, too sexual to be uttered on “Live TV”. He also said the presence of a Woman on the panel made him “too uncomfortable to say the word ‘com’, a Homonym of ‘cum’ as it would have been embarassing for her”
In an exclusive Telephone chat with Fake9janews, he further said:
“Look, i did not want to embarass myself by saying such dirty word. There was a woman there, how would i have sounded? I am a man of high moral standing…….if you think i’m telling lie, ask MY OGA AT THE TOP. That Is All”
Meanwhile, GEJ has just watched a recording of the interview, and has set up a committee to find out the real Website of the NSCDC.

Romance / Re: Before Calling Your Girlfriend A Slut, Read! by richs(m): 7:29pm On Mar 05, 2013
Biologically a guy can sleep with numerous girls and nothing damaging happens to his organ but let a woman try it her kitten loses its elasticity also her beauty fades moreover women are not wired that way emotionally i.e indiscriminate sex at a moment notice,so nature has provided a filter system to guard women from this problem, look around you in wild life females will stick to alpha male, its never about quantity but quality.the argument that women should be praise for self control is false its in their nature to seek out emotional security first over raw s.exual experience, women that sleep around are not happy, fulfilled individuals, something must have snapped in their past life either they were raped or got abuse by an ex,so promiscuity becomes a route for emotional trauma escape.so richfella the premise of your argument is false

bankylan:

You need to apply for MBA or M.SC Finance at any B-School in the US,Canada or UK......even at that, you have to really compete for IB jobs as they are few and highly competitive....make sure you have some work experience before heading back to Nig. But I doubt, if you will want to come back unless the likes of FBN Capital, BGL, Vetiva, SCB offer you anything above 18m per annum.

Schools you can go to, Chicago Booth, Tuck, Hass Berkeley, Stanford, Harvard, Yale, Wharton, NYU, etc in the US, then ROTMAN of Univ of Toronto, Schulich of YORK, and IVEY -all in Canada, then LBS, Cranfield, Oxford, Imperial, Cass in UK, AND INSEAD, HEC, and EDHEC in France.

These schools are expensive, but with a good GMAT score, you can get about 50% off your tuition.
