Every issue should not be left for the president to act upon. We have people in place that should have stop this in the first place, so why must everything be hanged on the president neck when even he himself might not know what is going on?

We can’t progress like this because this will mean people tasked to do their job will always get a pass. If it need the president to give the order, why then do we appoint people for specific job?

There is no way in hell that dangote should be selling oil to us at that price. If that the case then let him buy his oil elsewhere . We will continue to import oil until we fix our refineries.
I understand that the amount we were buying was because it was heavily subsidized but rather than subsidized the cost of fuel . I would rather invest in the refinery and buy it from him or own a controlling interest.

The main reason for his refinery was that we no longer have to import fuel . He built the refinery so that he could get the raw materials from us and sell to use offsetting transportation cost and delays since it’s refined locally.

I don’t understand especially since it will be quoted in Naira for him to buy. Our oil is also not oil sands which is harder to extract. No way us exporting and importing our oil is cheaper unless we export 100% but only get 75% back of oil offsetting cost of refinery abroad and transportation .

Justice is been served in this case. Going through the comments here, it's unfortunate that most Nigerians don't know how the legal system of the country work.
The offence the lawmaker was charged with is bailable....meaning no judge will deny him bail if he pleads not guilty.
Most people expect the lawmaker to be thrown into jail or made to pay huge sum of money immediately...that will amount to illegality, no judge will do that.
Like you rightly said, because the bolt driver choosed to go the criminal route, even if the lawmaker is found guilty at the end of the trial the bolt driver will not get any compensation from the court....this is not because the lawmaker has bribed the judge.

After criminal what is stopping him from pressing civil charges ?

Tinubu literally allowed the Aboki on the street to decide the value of the Naira. There were no palliative measures put in place to cushion the effect before the subsidy removal. He couldnt even do proper consultations. Even the Dangote Refinery you all were touting as the almighty solution to the economic woes brought about by the harsh policies, is today not spared by the effects of those policies.
