The cousin has done something very good, albeit inadvertently, by posting the story and pictures on social media. Now the media, women and child protection groups will mount pressures on the government to act and take away the child from him.

Stupid paedophiles.

Oga boss, this can not happen in Northern Nigeria. They owns the government and their religion backed this kind of marriage up.

The northern Nigerians in both cultural, religious and social factors are very different from other Nigerians. They need to stand as a one country on their own.
From the pictures you will see that other people in the background are happy and in celebration mood for the girl child marriage. This is to tell you how backward their believe and religion is. What a total SHAME!

While saying the President is hale and hearty, Osinbajo said he spoke with him earlier in the day to keep him abreast of developments regarding the 2017 Budget and the protests embarked upon by some Nigerians.

To proof that the pictures are real or not. Can't someone that is following the Ogun state politics closely confirm to us if their Governor travel out of the country. Someone told me Amosu was seen in Abeokuta the Ogun state capital 2 days ago.
Now am wondering when he travel out of the country to see Buhari.

Can someone confirm is he/she see either Amosu or Atiku in recent time.

You see your life now. You voted for a President that does not care about how you feel about his administration. This is a Military rule under the cover up of Democratic rule.

APC and their "back to back" propaganda. They bring this one out again to fool the the fool-able Nigerians.

I remember a someone on this forum once said "A fireman decided to go on vacation when his own fire station is on fire" this is true reflection of what this 419 baba is doing for Nigeria.

If you can't rule or lack direction, why don't you drop a resignation and attend to your health issue. @ 74 or na 75 still putting pressure of Nigeria on his head. I pity this old cargo man!

Another show whom APC are. How can you tax someone again for passport... This is a pure double taxation. Am not a tax practitioner but with my little knowledge on tax matters I know this is wrong.
For example. Government remove tax from my salary (Employee tax) and on same salary money they tax on goods (VAT) I buy with same salary. Now still on same salary you still want to tax me for getting a Nigeria passport. Na wa o!
My God help us for this APC government hand. 2019 pls com in time am ready to use my vote dis time.

Politics / APC And Judiciary Romance In Ondo Election. by rimzo(m): 7:19am On Nov 24, 2016
The declaration of Eyitayo Jegede SAN as the authentic PDP candidate over Jimoh Ibrahim in the forthcoming Ondo election is a political calculation of the Federal government APC with the collaboration of judiciary.
A blind man already know that Jegede is the authentic PDP candidate but by the way to to limit Jegede popularity, APC @ federal level used the Judiciary to stop him and place Jimoh Ibrahim over Jegede.
Sorry for of judiciary system in Nigeria.
Now that the truth as catch up with the lie. Nothing can stop Eyitayo Jegede SAN. APC can go and look for another method.

Federal government did not give money to the states to pay salaries but what we did was to provide risk guarantee that will enable the states to expand their borrowing capacities with the commercial banks.”

The above statement say it all about whom the current government care for. They still want their APC governors to use the money to secure more loan from banks without paying the workers backlog of salaries. Hmmmmmm... Indeed this is a ONE CHANCE government.
They are yet to finish paying for the loans they took for the 2015 election. Always coming out with lies day by day to deceive the people. What a nonsense government!
Politics / Re: Fayose Distributes Tubers Of Yams To Ekiti State Residents by rimzo(m): 9:44am On Jul 25, 2016
farihafaheemah:

This is disgusting honestly, Ekiti people are known for intellects and home of scholars where do they get it wrong. Does a tuber of yam solve problem. But why? Create enabling environment for your people Fayose. Will you come back tomorrow to distribute another round of yam for them. Ekiti people should Pls stop insulting their personalities.

Tuber of yam can solve some people problem if you don't know. Let thank God that I and you are among the opportunist that can afford to feed and even buy a data plan to comment on this platform. Some poor Nigerians are out there looking for what to eat.

Some Governors does not care about this poor Nigerians. All they do is to speak grammar for us and make empty promises and you hail them. Pls let Fayose use the availability LITTLE resources to help the poor.
And mind you... In the news it was reported that someone gave him (Fayose) the yam and he share it with the poor. Do u want him to share it with his commissions or PS that can easily afford to buy the yam for themselves? Think!

opylas:

What pains does he feel, please?
Are you from Ekiti? Are you resident in it?? You don't come on here and say Fayose feels the pains of the people of Ekiti; you just don't!

Get the fact right... Nigeria economy nowadays is nothing to write about. Nigerian are really hungry. Let us compare Ekiti to a small state like her e.g Osun. Is not a news that the revenue of the two states is not enough for capital development but still the government of Ekiti still ensure her citizens eat something. A tuber of yam or bag of rice can go a long way in some people life. You and your family might not need it but remember someone is out there that did not have anything inside his/her stomach last night and did not know what to eat today again. We need to care for the poor!

Am not from Ekiti but you need to come and see the level of poverty in Oyo state. No salary and no stomach infrastructure (SI) for the poor. Children are on the street looking for what to eat on a daily basis. Can you compare that to Ekiti where the government still care for the poor by putting in place SI for the poor.

Have you ever been chance to visit any state house? If you know amount of food they waste inside there and yet their poor citizens are hungry out there.
The most important thing about government is TO CONNECT WITH PEOPLE AT ALL LEVEL (Rich or Poor). This is why I like.... Sorry Love Fayose lead government in Ekiti state.

What's the difference between Ekiti and IDP camps in Borno?

Deep inside you, you think your state governor that always speak grammar inside TV and drive inside a well tinted jeep without caring for your state citizens is far better than a Governor that care for the grassroot people.

If you can be bold to tell us the state you come from. We will all know that your state governor is owning salaries in your state and you still point finger at a Governor that feel the pains of his people.

Like him or hate him. Governor Peter Ayodele Fayose will still be love by people of Ekiti people.

We are both on the same lane on this post. Camera to do lead them to where? Lagos lagoon I guess.
Let Mr. Governor open / repair more internal roads to reduce traffic on the major roads rather than spending several millions (if not up to billion) on procurement and installation of JUST a camera.
Car Talk / You And Traffic Rules In Nigeria. by rimzo(m): 11:24am On Jun 03, 2015
Traffic rules and regulations are devised to assure the smooth flowing of motor vehicles in the road. Moreover, traffic rules and regulation are not only for the driver of the vehicles but at the same times these rules are meant for the pedestrians, cyclist, motor-cyclist and other road users. A recent study conducted by the federal road safety commission (FRSC) revealed that more than 80 percent of all road accidents which cause serious injuries, loss of properties and lives were attributed to poor knowledge of traffic rules and regulations by motorists. The thorough knowledge of traffic rules/regulations, traffic signs and markings are very essential for the drivers and road users. The proper knowledge of these rules can reduce the number of accident and thus can establish a healthy and organized traffic system in our country

At this ends, endeavor to obey all the traffic rules and regulations while driving and ensure you have a valid driving license and ensure your vehicle papers/documents are complete and valid before you set out for that next journey.

Registration and licensing of your motor vehicle(s) now made easy. You can now get your vehicle papers (New registration or Renewal) at the comfort of your Home or Office.

Politics / As We Decide The Next Four Years Of Lagos Tomorrow. by rimzo(m): 10:52pm On Apr 10, 2015
Fellow Nairalanders, i greet you all.
I have to take some time out within my busy schedule to write this little note. Mind you, this write-up is not sponsored neither is any cash benefit attached.

have you ever heard of a business that can give someone a return of over 99%? Some might be wondering what this kind of business is. The business is right now in town. The business is POLITICS.

The huge investment in political jingles on radio, TV, billboards, handbills ,stickers, hand-bangs and other items on display by APC in Lagos is alarming. If they can invest this much to get their candidate in, then let's have it in mind that our state allocation will suffer if they occupy the seat of governance in Lagos.Politicians invest 1million for example and in return they expect more than 1Billion...
I remember when Governor Fashola was contesting elections, APC did not spend this much on campaigns.

Now let's think Lagosians... The amount spent for this year's APC governorship campaign is too much and is going to have negative effect on the financial books of the state for the next 2-3 years if eventually we allow them remain in Alausa.

t4thayour: @Olaore:I used the self study route, which was quite okay for me, but for the challenges of having to cope with work and studies. Although i had to start my reading quite early (about 3-4 months before exams). Harley reed is quite expensive as at the last time i checked, so it was not an option for me. You might contact them to get their fee. But truth is, you can't substitute whatever training at Harley reeds with personal studies. Depending on your ability and schedule, you might want to decide whether to strictly face self study (early enough), or complement it with any of the rest options you mentioned.

@Rimzo: I would advice sincere evaluation of what career path you really )want to take. I understand you might be at the crossroad at the moment (We have, at some points, been there), but take a deep thoughts. Survey SCM generally. Google the topic. Read some SCM stuffs online to be sure this is what you really want to do. This thread is full of series of sites to gather info on SCM. I had been in the field before stumbling on this thread, and the links i was really helped me in making my final decision, as well as exams preparation. (www.supplychainmanagement.in, www.nextlevelpurchasing.com, intro to operations mgt course on coursera.org, supplymanagement.com etc).
Research the field and be sure that is what you really want to do.
But for me, SCM is a field to be. Organizational competition in this age is that of supply chain, and i think it's a way to consider.

Thanks for the info. I will work on this and get back to you for my final decision on it. Email conversation will be ok. Kindly pm me your email address.

Regards.

sweetrace: 18 may the legal voting age in most countries, but as long as the 18 year old is not married, she is still under her parents authority. And while it is cool to be your daughters friend, you are first her father. Teach her to value and respect her body even when she is 18. Feel absolutely free to ask her if she is a virgin.

You are absolutely on point.

So you don't care to know about sexual activities of your daughter that is not married.
We need to teach and advice our children about sex education.
