Not actually sir! In UK, they have Daylight saving time where they move the clocks forward and backward by 1hour. Currently we have the same time with the UK but on 28th October they move the clock back 1 hour. Just for your records, at least you can learn something new today

Unlike the government of the day that retrieved over 300 million dollars and squandered it on sharing to the poorest, The Obasanjo-led administration used the DRF - Debt Relief Funds to achieve the MDGs. Granted the first year, 2005 was a disaster but they then formed the Office of the Senior Special Assistant to the President on MDGs headed by Amina Mohammed to manage the funds. That office, OSSAP-MDGs had the responsibility of managing the funds which was to be appropriated annually - 1 billion dollars a year for 18 years and used to fund MDG projects nationwide. SOme of you may have heard of the Conditional Grants Scheme to States and Local Governments - CGS. This was funded with this money is still running.

My question now is where is this money - 1 billion dollars annually being appropriated and spent on? This funds should be up till 2023 but what i see appropriated to OSSAP-MDGs is a fraction of what they used to get. The current government does not even have a strategy for the SDGs!! They are still running obsolete programmes like CGS to State and CGS to Local Governments.
I worked in this office from 2012 to 2015 and i know how it works in there!!! I prayed for a change of government because i saw the massive rot. My unit, the CGS unit had an annual budget of 64 billion Naira and i know the nonsense that was happening.

Atiku with no immunity was sharing $5000 in rivers state yet no one questioned his dirty wealth, all they do is shout Atikulate on social media. The igbos are at the fore front of this media blackmail against the governor because of their fear of massive Kano votes awaiting president Buhari. Governor Ganduje should sue that guy to teach other journalists lessons. I don't support corruption but we shouldn't persecute innocent people because they are seen with foreign currency

I have never been to an airport; and i have been to a lot of airports in this world, where they allow only travellers into the terminal.

I have never seen an airport where they block the drop off point in front of the terminal building

I have never seen an airport where they screen your baggage at the doorway and you have to queue and show passport and ticker before you enter.

I have not seen an airport where customs and immigration staff beg you for money

In our airport, by the time you get to the lounge, you are stressed. You would have passed nearly 4 security checks, off shoe, belt, watch , pant. You would have explained to 10 people that you have no money to give out.

Our leaders travel the world and see other airports and do nothing about ours

You are not entirely correct sir. Holders of UK passports qualify under the visa waiver programme to enter the US for up to 90 days however you require an ESTA ; a travel authorization which you apply for 72 hours before your trip. Technically that isn’t a visa...
