Horus:That is if it has enough energy to make the return flight home. I have an Aerial Robotics XR6 hexacopter carrying a Sony Alpha 6000 camera. It uses two 3700 MAh 6S batteries and I can only squeeze out 12 minutes per flight. This explains why we moved to fixed wing technology. I visited Zürich on Friday to see a demo on the Wingtra One. You get much more out of a fixed wing but you lose maneuverability. |
HenryDion:There is no high end battery at this time... LiPo is the current technology. You also have a weight consideration; anything more “high tech” may have to be heavier and you don’t want more weight as that takes energy to carry. |
Only in Nigeria where the senate is the retirement home for Governors who by the way will be receiving a pension from their states and taking allowances from the senate. Little wonder we spend so much on politicians to the detriment of infrastructural development. |
Lefty500:Only other option is a hybrid battery and fuel engine. I can’t see any external fuel tanks so I assume it’s solely battery. I am sure it has been thought of and really keen to see what technology he has in there |
TechCapon:That’s fine |
Great idea. I run a drone company providing services in construction, agriculture and security and know the potential of this technology. Only thing I am concerned about is battery limitation. This is a hexacopter and the best you can find gets about 45 minutes on a set; then this has to also power a defibrillator from that same battery and would probably need a transformer to generate the 200-1000 volts needed. It may be able to fly to the scene and provide help but won’t be able to respond to another or even take off again but it is a really good idea... will we buy one Let’s see |
The option of resignation was long settled on in government circles as a way of giving Mrs Adeosun an opportunity to save what remains of her integrity. I laugh!!! What integrity? A certificate forger has no integrity and a President who took 4 months to act on the allegation has none too. So what next? What happens now that she procured a fake certificate? Ignorance is not an excuse ... |
What weight basis are you using? Fuel consumption is a function of weight so are you assuming a fully laden aircraft? Note that before takeoff , there is a weight calculation done to determine how much fuel to take on ... I think. Secondly, 747 are rarely used for Nigeria to London route , the 777 has better fuel economy is the common craft used in this route. |
93Miles:It is not me that said it. Please argue with lil wayne

Nigeria is already a Chinese colony. In a few years you'll understand why. My name will be Li Fu Chan |
It's a railway track not a cattle track!!! Who will educate these idiots that they do not own the roads or railtracks? Can't they just ranch rather than walk about destroying property? |
Nonsense calculation: if 16 aspirants bought nomination forms for 12 m each PDP won’t make 1.9 billion .... its 192 million. All this Jimoh and Abbas |
If human beings especially those blinded by the concept of God and miracles weren't so gullible, they'd know that anyone anyone who has been wheelchair bound for a while would have suffered some from of muscular atrophy which would make impossible to walk steadily for a while...But here in Nigeria somebody will stand from wheel chair and start jogging. I even saw one who was blind from birth and he was healed and asked what color he was seeing...And he answered...please tell me how he knows what color when he doesn't even know what colours are. .sheep!!! |
Sadly, no one will be held accountable! Fulanis are licensed to kill!!! You cannot kill an officer of the law and go free in modern climes; the killers will be caught and made to face the consequences. How is it possible that we have become very desensitized to killings? |
On Corporate Manslaughter Bill of 2018, Buhari said: “This provision appears to be inconsistent with Section 36(5) of the 1999 Constitution, which enshrines the presumption of innocence until the alleged offender is convicted by a court or tribunal of competent jurisdiction.” Has Dasuki been convicted by a court or tribunal of competent jurisdiction? Yet he is presumed guilty and has been in detention |
the only thing he actually lost was the bag and cheque. The money was going to be given out anyway |
Sinkhole in the shithole |
Analyses the cost of your flight ticket; nearly 1/2 the cost of your ticket is surcharges and taxes yet we have sub-standard terminals, outdated baggage conveyors and in Abuja...One runway. Put the money to use and stop celebrating taxing passengers |

When we stop applauding politicians for doing things they were employed to do, only then will they become serious. They built a water point, a toilet, a new stretch of road, a rail station and they expect our applause...And we give them. It fuels this stupid behaviour of commissioning useless projects. In Paris, you'll see proper ultra modern toilets. Self cleaning toilets that ensures it is always clean and ready for the next user...Not this rubbish |

Bros, abeg focus on your hustle jare. It is well with you. You opened this account yesterday to celebrate the keke napep riders who defected because Kwakwaso was going to declare his intention to run against PMB. ![]() |
Butterflylleo:It's the 30th of the month, hopefully you have done enough to earn your wages from the BMC. |
Butterflylleo:And i feel the panic from your failed government that feels the need to arrange a counter-rally in Kano because they feel threatened. |
Butterflylleo:No need! They are rented crowds. |
The way this Utako area will smell today ehn! |
Very infantile politics being played. I really have not seen a government so focused on their perceived enemies rather than facing what they were voted for. SO Kwankwaso declares for president in Abuja; the APC rents a crowd of keke napepe riders to hold a counter-rally in Kano. |
Dress a pig up in a suit and give it a tie and whatever...it is still a pig. All this does not solve the SARS issue. What the police needs is not dressing up, it needs institutional changes which go farther than adding an F and uniforms |
Of what benefit has his power been as Minister of Petroleum? |
LASU is a glorified secondary school! Whether that has changed; i do not know but from 1997 - 2002, this is all it was. I was in the pioneer set of students who moved from Ojo campus to the Epe campus which was a former military barracks. It was a sh*thole. We did not see any results from 100 level 1st semster till 2nd semester 200 level. All the results were released at once in the 1st semester of 300 Level and all students were required to register all their carry overs before registering departmental courses! The Chemical lab was a converted garage thing with no furniture only a fume cupboard. The lecturers... let me not go there. |
Well then, lets vote God for president in 2019 since we wait on him for practically everything |
Buhari is overwhelmed by the handshake. You can almost hear him saying " this is an achievement for APC" Little did he know that Trump was thinking, "What a lifeless individual with a limp handshake".... Who else follows a lifeless being? Zombies...little wonder they are called Zombies.. BBQ roaster come and see your hero |
Let’s see
