If you have a transaction of £200 per month, to the person you're inviting..........

That £200 pcm, stops whilst the person is with you ....... I say again, it's all about the approach........

I invited my parents and in-laws, with less than £100 end balance....... And none of them ever got rejected.......

So I say again.........🤑😁🤣😜

What was the traffic in your account like?

What was your salary cap?

These should be the considerations

Rent

Tax

Insurance

Transport

Heating in winter

etc

Your body go tell you if you are not doing a professional job that has a certain salary cap.

This is what most people who rushed the care job visa for UK didn't consider.

They converted £20,500 p/a to naira and got blindly excited and jumped without making informed plans.

After the euphoria of landing, reality sets in and so many regrets and stories start jumping out.

Sit down and plan o....all that glitters isn't gold.

Supersymetry:

You are contradicting yourself,
The problem with Nigeria is pure lack of proper understanding, shallow mentality and copy copy altitude.
Copying without thinking, you mention developed countries, do we have the same problem with them, of course no, then why do we copy them at all cost, copy at the cost of destroying our society, the result is that lectures have become demigods, sexual exploitation, empty headed graduate, electrical engineers that doesn't have the required electrical knowledge, civil engineers that are substandard, substandard doctors, chemical engineer that doesn't know how to synthesize simple chemicals the reason we import people from outside to do everything standard, the list goes on and on.
Eg Nigeria society of engineers can get our iron and steel industry working, something that other people did thousands or hundreds of years ago, things they did even in Nigeria without school certificate though on a small scale, now lost the ability with certificate.

Not quite @ contradicting myself.

Someone opined that education is beyond being in a classroom, to which I agree.

However, I am making a case for PhD as the face of research in academic learning which when properly exploited becomes the engine room that drives technology and development.

Just like you mentioned, NSE can get our iron industries working, but we can't go global without researched processes as seen in developed worlds.

You are allowed to copy what works, it isn't wrong.

I agree that most PhD holders in Nigeria are only paper driven and in it for the title, but if we truly decide to apply the knowledge from that plane of learning in its full reality, then we would experience astronomical growth in every sector of our nation.

Today we don't have education but schooling, schooling to obtain certificare/title. In most cases school destroys advancement, in a situation where a particular society pays attention to the certificate than the knowledge involved like the situation in Nigeria, it becomes a burden.

To advance you just need knowledge and thinking ability, then research, not academic titles.

Yeah certainly beyond titles.

When you live in a very developed clime, you would definitely appreciate the real meaning of PhD.

Even technology is driven by research and experiments.

Education is a big round ball that may pass through a school or nay.

Don't worry I needn't argue with thee!!!

Lolz. How uninformed some of us are without knowing it.

Everyone can't go into business, sir. And, PhD is not just about making money, it's about solving problems. The knowledge you apply in your tailoring and poultry business are contributions of people's research.

God bless you for educating this generation that is so fixated on money only. They don't understand that education is the bedrock of advancement.

It's important to remember!
If you stop or miss payment they WILL cancel your insurance.
This is computer logged and police can see that you have no insurance.
Automatic number plate recognition cameras, (ANPR) are on many roads and in many police cars.
They can spot and report you instantly.

On a different note, can ANPR detect someone driving with just provisional license and has not taken the practical driving test yet?

On this genotype issue ...

No one will carry your cross with you. But, if you believe in the miraculous like I do, and your faith is resolute, even if it is as tiny as a mustard seed, then be it done unto you according to your FAITH.

I believe there are other reasons why you are getting married to your UK friend.

Reality also has a way of defining motives and exposing any cracks.

Go to God and ask, If you hear Him and not your own voice or emotions, then do as bidded.

Hello, please I need advice. I met my boyfriend(African-British) a few months ago and we plan to get married later this year. Unfortunately, I found out we are both of AS genotype. I'm optimistic about not having kids with sickle cell but since it can't be ruled out, I want to ask if the UK government provides adequate and free health programs for such or if the sickle cell treatment issue is the same here as it is in Nigeria

Pieces of Advice will be appreciated. Thanks

Candid advice.....quit the journey!!!!! If you can not do without each other, then never ever ever have kids. That would be very selfish. The cold here will deal unjustly with those kids.

And I don't think Caucasians suffer the sickle cell disease, so there isn't any concrete government support.

Think again!!!

My friend and senior colleague did zygote selection in the US. They spent fortunes and He is a doctor , so he knew what he was getting into from day 1.

Give this decision a hard thought!!!

Good evening elders!

Please Let me paint a scenarion, I need advice.

You do a partnership business in naija, but not in your name.

Proceeds come and you decide to collect money in Fx.

Can they send the money to my REVOLUT or LLOYD bank?

Will UKVI or HMRC query the source or expect me to pay tax on it?

Is it a crime to earn money from outside the UK?

If the narration comes as something unofficial, will it raise brows?

I learnt today that if you want to use your car, you should not drive there alone with provisional licence, someone has to join/drive you there. Try to find out about this.

Ok chief. That should actually be the right thing to do.

Used my instructors, those people can report you if you drive your car there and fail. They will watch you drive your car away from the center then call the police, saying you failed but you still driving your car. If you are sure of passing or have someone with full license go with you, you can use your car bro…

Wow...thank you sir

Graham Potter

Those are the only English coach to have coached Chelsea since the acquisition of Chelsea by Roman Abrahamovic.

I hope to never see any English coach in Chelsea again henceforth..

The fact that in their own League, non of the top 6 clubs have English managers or that no English manager has won the EPL in 31 years tells a lot about their coaching capabilities and capacity.

Don't even get me started on the UEFA Champions League. No English manager has won the UEFA Champions League in 39 years.

They are only good at criticizing or telling managers of other countries how to do their jobs while they themselves never do it.

I was discussing with one of my colleagues at work and He admitted that England was poor tactically. He said the best football skills in coaching are in Germany, Spain and the Netherlands. He said what that most of the English coaches are on tier B coaching levels while others in Europe are on level A, even if its a division 2 club.

The guy is an honest brit and was very truthful. He said he even prefers players going to Europe to develop and then returning back here to play for any of the top 6.
