I wouldn't want us to derail the focus of the thread. You have made very intelligent and sincere assertions to which I applaud. However, it's just one perspective you have seen from, I'm not here to make any excuses nor antagonize the religious institutions either.

I wouldn't know much about the mosques but coming from the church, I would say that they have played a role towards national transformation. Trust me , I have been involved in a few of these projects which have bothered on education, Human capital development and even infrastructure.

It's very easy to throw punches at the church because she is almost defenseless, but trust me there are very many silent acts of kindness meted out by the church to the society that should shame government. These may not be publicized because they are not there to score cheap political points. .

What would you say of situations where a church sets out to construct world class roads but the prevailing Government insists on being bribed? See, it's not really what we think it is.

Let's hold our leaders accountable and be grateful when the religious institutions extend helping hands. Infrastructure without personal transformation is still useless, and that transformation is the real responsibility of the church.

Did you see it was the church that led the campaign for donations against "COVIK 1-9"?

I understand your agitation bro, but let's channel it to the right quarters.

Keep Hope Alive!!!!
beejay16289:
You definitely know it's the responsibility of the Government. But Religious leaders can also be of help. In your honest opinion don't you think we have more than enough religious institutions. If you ask me i would say humanity's obsession with religion has done some serious damage to our reasoning. Like why the hell will a religious leader say his vision is to have a branch of his church in less 7 minutes walking distance. Wait are the branches already built overstretched or overpopulated. I highly doubt that....

Honestly with the way we're heading it almost seem fair to say that a well known religious leader will pull much more crowd than Mr President himself... Any day any time....

Trust me I am not praising our Government because honestly it's very obvious that they have failed us as our leaders...

Relegious institutions claim to love and serve God.......Then I see no wrong if they all come together as one.... join resources to innovate positive impact to our economy.....Is this too much for the love of God....

mrphysics I think Nigeria has want it takes to develop a NPP but a lot of us are still mentally enslaved to things like religion, politics etc.

Imagine how developed our Nation would be if we had more infrastructures instead of churches, more industries instead of megachurches and more equipped hospitals instead of mansion sized mosques.

Now an epidermic is out there will Nigerians run to this relegious houses. Truth is all relegions are waiting for a positive response from science.

I believe that we are all our own gods.....
Truth is if you want to find the answers.
You have to look inside yourself.
Not up to the sky......

Majority of us need to stop thinking like average people and wake from the slumber that we put ourselves into......

Whatever we were doing before is obviously not working.....

The changes we all want has to start from us before it reflects our leaders.... Atleast our leaders were once followers....
Just one simple question....

Who is saddled with the responsibility of building industries? Government or Religious institutions?

Bonne chance !

BTW anyone want to share any TEF exam prep areas they are struggling with?.....you never know someone here may have a hack for it.
Just finished with A2 level with AF , Revision is this week and then we move to Intermediate class. DELF is coming up by 24th, I really don't feel like writing yet. I want to attempt B2 with DELF instead, but that would be June diet.

I'm the only one in my class who is learning French for TEF purposes and of course the AF center here doesn't prep one for TEF. Really a long lonely road...but we Keep Hope Alive.

Merci beaucoup

PLS PEOPLE I'M WRITING FOR GENUINE ADVISE.
I'm a medical doctor 30 years of age. Had my MBBS degree 2015 from Russia, I've completed my internship and Nysc and have 1 year post Nysc work experience.
Now I want to relocate to Australia to do Masters, so what I'd like to ask is;
1) what's d best career path for me? Cos I'm aware becoming an Australia licensed doctor is quite difficult.
2) Which Masters program should I do in a medical related field which is in high demand so when I'm thru I can easily get a job?
3) If I opt for Masters in nursing would I be eligible to be registered into the Australia nursing council after completion of the program cos I know nurses are highly sorted after in Australia.
4) Which part of Australia would I have THE MOST job opportunities in the health sector.

NB: I thought of applying for PR but one of the criterias for Doctors is to pass the AMC exam which is time consuming.

PLS HELP A CONFUSED MIND.

Hoping to hear you guys response soonest.

Thanks Dr Collins.
My advice based on a friend's experience.

Go and write PLAB

Practise 1-2 years in UK

Leave for Australia

Hi everyone!

I'm very sorry I have not been able to respond to mentions here and even emails.

@Nairastealth... Australia is good but a tough and very long process for Nigerian trained physios. You need a full Australian license to qualify for 189. If you are under 35 please go the Canada way.

To everyone... UK would be opening her doors soon. It would be good we all get our HCPC ready.

Shalom

Bonjour a tous! Comment t'allez vous?

Please, can I get a confirmation of what particular level in TEF affords one the extra 30 points for 2nd language. Is it B2 or C1 . I did a simulation on the CRS calculator and all B2 could yield was 4 points. Please can I get clarification?

Hi everyone!

I have a perculiar case. I halted my medical practise in 2015 after 4 years and went into agro business and export.

I have worked in this industry 2016 till date. I fill in roles for warehouse manager, supervisor, Quality controller, logistics officer and ultimately a supplier too.

Can I apply for EE with an NOC different from my medical qualification since I am looking at possible chances of being nominated by Alberta and maybe Ontario/Manitoba.

ECA ready, Ielts ready too. French class on.

The high CRS is my reason for this drift.

Please lend your thoughts as to the possibility of this action and the best NOC to capture my duties.

Thank you
