Pandamann: Hello everyone
I'm encouraged by some of the fantastic testimonies I've read on this thread.
I've got some questions regarding Australian migration For a Nigerian physiotherapist.
I want to know if anyone on here has scaled the hurdles successfully crossing over from here to Australia.
In addition to having three years work experience in physiotherapy, in my last one-year of work, I've worked as a massage therapist and gym instructor in addition to my physiotherapy work.
I'm considering my options to select the one that gives me the best chance of getting a pr into Australia. Thanks PM me.... am a physiotherapist too.... |

jelmusboy: I nominated Medical Lab Technician (AIMS) and not VETASSESS category. Anyway, have already been told that NT does not grant 190 if you don't have family ties there. Really @ Family ties.... hmmmm. Thought it was strictly for state nomination. I for like PM you o |

jelmusboy: I applied for NT 489 and 190. They rejected my application for 489 and told me they will only process 190 cos I applied for 190 before 489.
Now, they said they are offering me 489 cos my 190 was not successful and it was NOT based on the point I score on SkillSelect. My score on SkillSelect was 70 and 75 for 190 and 489 respectively.
Why is it difficult for NT to give 190? Lol...I can imagine the "vexation" .... Really funny peeps. well just hold one first, way na way provided it's pure. was it VETASSESS that assessed you? Did you provide any evidence of employment prospect for 190/489?? |

Get Positive assessment first nah.... other matters will be bread and butter. The will to succeed is most important element here asides the G factor. even if you need to ask Lai Mohammhed for money I will join you to beg him. let nothing stop you o. if you need to sell car or electronics, sell it o |

Good morning House abi Family. I am thrilled with the success stories we have had over the past few days of this month. Really the Good Lord has crowned the year with goodness and our paths drop fatness. Oga Bellong.... Your generation will receive help more than you have given by starting up this thread and to all the contributors... God bless you all. For a while I have noticed that most of the applicants here are Either Engineering or IT professionals, please I beg to ask if there is any medical professional who has successfully gotten through the rigors of securing a PR? we also need your voice so some of us who are medics would be encouraged. I also want to inquire and find out the opinion of the house on this, I am a physiotherapist (graduated and sworn in 2011) Australia insists we must write qualification exams before securing PR, but on going through the short term list I found out that Massage therapist and G.ymnastics/sports instructors don't need exams and can go for 190/457 visa. I am qualified by my licensing board and training to fill in these roles, even though I am over qualified for it. Do I go ahead or stick to 189 visa for Physiotherapists?
please help a brother..... Thank you |

Teejah80: All these whistleblower, huuuuu, una too much for this forum.First and foremost, I gave all the glory and honor to the way maker, and the Almighty God who made this dream a reality for me and my family. Also to the chief himself,(Bellong)who created this forum and with your immersed support and care,God will surprise you in all your endeavor. To the main gist, the urge to leave the shore of this country started in 2015,as a medical personnel, my sis in USA I should come and I keep asking her that with what visa, she said there is a way they go about it,mind you,me never pass my mama and papa village.I started doing d research for a better migration, that was how I came across d thread.lodge vettasses assessment on Feb 2016,positive result came out in 15 June ,2015,test of English show me and my sis(Mamajaz).wrote pte 2twice,always had 50 in speaking, maybe cos na community school me I go,and I no fit twist my tongue like jamson, bnimz etc, wrote ielts Feb 2017,7 across band ,but had 6:5 in writing, did I forget to let you know that have gather all documents for NT nomination, as they are d only one nominating my occupation (health promotion) But God change the plan, that he doesn't want me to go thru d stress of NT.Feb did year, Queensland start nominating my occupation, mostly all d medicals for 489 visa,Thank God for another wonder sis,Uchely for the timely info.Got Queensland and ITA on 3 of April, visa lodge on 17 of May,cos of work load, couldn't finish uploading documents, CO requested for more documents as per work experience,I resent d requested doc on 2 of June,my hubby transcript was a bit delay, and I also collect English as a mode of study.Sent email twice to process team(Adelaide).Always get an auto reply. The God of time and season, and the God of last minute, as me no won pay children school fees again.Got my grant for me and my family this morning. We serve a God that answers pray.If he can do it for me and change my direction from NT to Queensland, that God will do it for all those awaiting ITA and grant. hello... hope you are doing great. congrats to you. please what area of medical practice is your specialty.... am a physiotherapist. do you mind telling me so I can ask some more specific questions?? |

lalaazo: To peeps who have a degree and not sure of which occupation best suites there needs; first of go through the MLTSSL and combined occupation list,if your occupation isn't there, try to look at the occupation closely related to your field on the list, get the Job description from anszco search and see if your course modules or job functions tally. E.g graduate in Bsc. Political sciences but work in HR department: job title maintenance contract officer. This is not on any list but hr officer, clerk, recruitment consultant are on the combined list with JD similar to the Mtce contract officer duties. Then the applicant can go ahead with any of these options, may not be able to claim points for degree if there is no module in the transcript that suggest clerical or admin skills but would definitely get positive assessment with years of expirence. Also 20 points English test may be a booster. This is mainly my opinion. the link is not opening Sir. the stuff says page not found.... help me o |

He have committed so much that he can't even guess where his judgement will begin from. As for oga K.C my man, you can easily like someone else nah since your dumb head have bluntly refused to admit loves' existence. Just make sure the innocent lady don't hate you for real. meemahlae: Medicine first - Attractive income, Prestige, Carrier fulfillment at treating others, Highest paid. D fact DAT ur 2 bro had job issues doesn't mean he will. Job is easy at north
Nursing- Easily employed, Carrier fulfillment, Personal Private practice. Cons.. Errand staff for doctors lowest paid out of d 5 courses u mentioned Don't really like it for guys. Pharmacy - Easy employment, same salary scale with MLS and Physiotherapy. prestige, Most easy work as they just sit down and dispense drugs already stated by doctors. They stand up in few cases wen dey need to pick up some drugs. Carrier fulfillment, Private practice, Not easily talked down by doctors unlike nurses.
Medical lab science MLS - They are the backbone of medical field. Huge Carrier fulfilment as they diagnose and detect all anomalies and infections going on in our body by using our bodily fluids e.gblood. Private practice, Easy employment..
Physiotherapy- Prestige, easily employed.. not true at physiotherapy ooo.... am a physio. Radiography and Nursing have highest employment rates from public to private owned health institutions |
