Life some times can be funny. I applied to NTNU last year and I was denied admission. So this 17/18 session, I just re-submitted my previous document on their website, and viola, I got a place for MSc Petroleum Geosciences.

The issue now is that I hold offer for the same course in Ireland - tuition applies in this case but I have scholarship to offset the cost. Another thing is the MSc in Ireland is one year while that in Norway is two years.

Duration is not really a concern, but the chance of getting a job after studies. So my question goes to guys who have studied in Norway, how easy is it for a non-EU person to get a job in Norway Oil industry after studies. I have read here on the monetary requirement for a post study visa. That shouldn't pose a challenge as the scholarship I plan using for Ireland will cover for the requirement.

Fellow Nigerians if we can do this for efe why can't we do the same thing to Buhari come 2019?

This program has opened the eyes of many that Nigerians can really come together to support a cause if they want it.


What is stopping us from doing the same thing when it comes to politics? If only we could put away our tribal differences and come together as one to kick Bad leaders out of office and vote in our choice, I believe we all will be happy just like the way many of us celebrated last night.

please i need your candid advice please lead a Brother to a right path.

I found out that am lost, and am Weak spiritually .

I don't read my bible i find it so boring, even flipping throw the pages of the bible is something i hate doing.

I can't remember when last i step my foot in church, maybe 4years ago.

I hardly pray, even when am about to sleep, or wake up i find it so irritating in fact when the family is up to prayer the don't bother to call me, because the the know i won't come.

Okay , this morning i heard my parent and siblings singing song , the were about to pray, i force myself to attend the morning prayer, when i got there, my mum and dad were happy, even without being told, i saw it in their face. my dad asked me to lead the family in short prayer. I was shocked that i couldn't pray , i was stammering when praying, i didn't know the exactly words to use. This really touch me, i really want to change , i love God, i believe in His existence. please i will appreciate every piece of advice thanks.

Go to Australia, and you will know a day job wages will feed you for a whole week. Fûck this country, nobody is talking about getting top jobs, but how will tell a graduate to apply for a gateman job, is that your own meaning of starting small? Nigeria is fûcked and we able youths keep looking. Our present president would have organised a youth based political party that will chase away these rotten elders from our system if he (Buhari) was born in our generation. All the ones talking about having hope and optimistic, keep having it till you are 35 and still hoping, i have one of you as my neighbor who is now 41 and still hoping.

After making a distinction in national diploma computer engineering from a federal polytechnic the future looked as bright as laser Light..
With much enthusiasm and believe i proceeded to apply for direct entry into one of the Universities of science and technology to also pursue a degree in engineering..
As a result of the delay in the University admission process that year i couldnt wait till i was enlisted for the degree program so i applied to further with my higher national diploma in my former school. The Hnd admission came without delay and luckyly for me the admission with the University also came along and believe me i took both as a challenge and went through them successfuly..

Due to the gap between the two admissions i was able to run them concurrently. At This point no youth in nigeria could be assured of a brighter future than i was..

Again i made a distinction in higher national diploma and a second class upper in my B. Eng... All in computer engineering.

Mobilization for NYSC came through first at the polytechnic so i served with my hnd and with a distinction i was posted to a federal university... What other assurance do i need for a brighter future ahead...

DAYS OF AGONY

with a month to the end of my service year i already had my CV, cover letter and i was prepared to go out and showcase my abilities.
April 14th 2016 i was so happy to drop the khaki and the jungle boot and with a happy heart i headed home..

Firstly i started with the online applications and after some months i started submitting hard copies from company to company..

After six months my family started showing signs of being human after all and i tell you this is the quickest invitation To depression.. In two weeks from now, it would have been a year sadness, dashed hope and ofcourse loneliness.

To cut story short i am beginning to think that education, sound result, qualifications, and the promise of a better future via academics is just a mere mirage..

This days i find it difficult to let people know i am a graduate... They get to find out them selves later and the sorry face they put up is a killer to my self confidence

Borrowing airtime from mtn, cutting my hair twice a month, trekking has become the Best means of transportation, laughter has become ostentatious, the worst is i no longer attend church services cos my regular appearance in same clothes is making Me an officer...

I need help but hey suicide has never been an option and would never be... I know it wont be like this forever but who knows where the help can come from.... I speak english Yoruba and igbo fleuntly... And i dont mind relocation as i am available for Immediate consideration
