I think cohabitation is not really a good idea. I think that if you give the dude everything for free (without marriage) the situation is not likely to end in a marriage. It would kind of be like well she's cooking for me, cleaning and doing eveything else so why would I waste my money marrying her. Marriage is a trial anyway so I don't really see a  need for a test run.

Cohabitation is when two unmarried people decide to live together. It seems to be more common than it was in the past. I know some people that cohabit and they call it a trial marriage. They live together for a few years to see if they are compatible and then if they are they get married. If they aren't then both parties go their separate ways. Some peope are so adamantly against cohabitation but have 1 million children out of wedlock. LOL!



Do you have any experience with cohabitation and what are you opinions about it. Do you think that cohabitation as a trial marriage is valid or is it a waste of time?

Some people do it the other way. They use water and then they use tissue. There's nothing wrong in using tissue as long as water is used somewhere in the cleaning process.

Why do muslims find it absolutely difficult to answer a question without talking about "ONE god"? Is that all islam has to offer?

Maybe the "ONE god" thing is very important to people. It makes sense to me more than anythng else.

No not raised to tick Christian. I went to church every Sunday, attending Catholic school and one year a non demoninational Christian school, had to memorize Bible verses to get certain priviledges etc.

And right now I live in the United Arabs Emirates which is a predominantly Muslim country. It is an extremely peaceful, stable and well structured environment. Saudi is not as bad as people imagine.

Islam can very well stand on it's own. It's when you are in a religious discussion with a Chrristian or any other non-Muslim it is inevitable that comparisons will be made.

I was raised Christian due to my parents separation so I am not just some Muslim who follows because I was raised to believe in Islam.Some of the things you have mentioned I have struggled with myself. Like the whole idea of women being the most in hell and such. I at one point decided not to associate with any faith because of the questions I had. In the end I decided a few things:

1. Religion gives one's life a peace and structure that is hard to find without it
2. The most important thing in any religion is to worship ONE God.

I found these in Islam so everything else is just.   .   .   .whatever    LOL!

As for mumbling a strange language, some of us actually endeavour to learn the language, or at least understand the prayers we recite   Those who choose to revere earthly human kings, that is their problem not mine.
