Natural as in relaxer/chemical-free ie., nappy.

Eminem's new stuff is super duper lame. He has over the years proved himself to be a one trick pony. He should have continued sleeping and counting sheep or whatever it was that he was doing over the last few years.

neither am i worried about THE FEDERAL MINSTRY OF HEALTHS WARNINGS THAT SMOKERS ARE LIABLE TO DIE YOUNG

Am worried about Passive Smokers and the Economic Costs of Smokers To The Society; short, medium and long term
Am worried about Taxpayers money and Government funding going into projects to support smokers facing challenges/consequences
Am worried about their short breaks during office hours to have a smoke

Afterall "Cool Guys" like fhemmy, Riskie,Blackspade,EarthMama,Pepeye,Hauwa,OmoIbo
know that THE FEDERAL MINSTRY OF HEALTH WARNS THAT SMOKING IS DANGEROUS TO HEALTH,
"Cool guys"  undecided how old are you?  I don't remember telling you I smoked to be "cool'.
You're so worried about what I do to MY body but you're not worried about poverty, promiscuity, crime etc that exist in society. Smokers affect themselves much more than they affect others. I smoke is designated smoking areas and since I don't live where you do, your precious tax money isn't being used on me and I am not taking smoking breaks at your expense either because you are not my employer. I can read and I know the consequences of smoking, thank you very much. I don't need you to preach to me. So many things that YOU probably do in your life are also life threatening ie having unprotected premarital relations with mulitiple people, over eating, not exercising etc and I'm not telling you the obvious. STFU you douche! I'm going to go have a cig now  grin

I 4 one want to lighten/brighten my skin because i just got back from service and i was up north 4 a year and believe me whoever invested sunscreen wasn't thinking about Maiduguri sun and i came back to Lagos at least 5shades darker.
You can try mixing freshly sqeezed lime juice with cinnamon powder. Apply to a clean face then let it dry before rinsing off with warm water and then rinse again with cold. You can do this twice a week. Don't forget to always use sunblock when you go out. Soemthing with SPF 50.

Apply aloe vera gel all over your face. It's a great moisturizer and also has cooling and healing effects.

~Sissy~:
Riskie doesn't the aspirin thing dry out your skin?
Yes it does and that's why it is really good for acne prone or oily skin which I have. I know even oily skin needs moisture so I use aloe vera gel after everytime I do this treatment.
FashionRe: What Makes You Think You Got De Best Skin Ever? by Riskie(f): 5:45am On May 05, 2009
Like ibkaye said avoid wearing foundation and such all the time.  I think once in a while for special occassions if fine. But the thing that helps my skin the most is the aspirin facial, it is like magic! It get's rid of activity on the face overnight and is a great mild exfoliant! Just take 2-3 uncoated aspirin and add a little water to let it dissolve and then add a little honey. Apply to the face and let it dry, then wash off. Yoy will se the difference in your skin. I do this twice a week.

FashionRe: My Hair Woes by Riskie(op): 6:26am On May 03, 2009
@ Blue yeah I had the same problem with the water. You could use a water filter, that helps. And stop shampooing lol the weather here is too harsh and dry to shampoo too often.
If you want your hair to grow faster you could try mixing castor oil and rosemary oil and massage your scalp with the mixture. Only a few drops of rosemary because it can cause headaches. Then conditioner wash it out the next day. Also try adding alma and shikakai powder to your deep conditioner once in a while. They help with growth, strength and condition the scalp. The amla oil usually contains more mineral oil than actual amla.

Gelila has some pretty hair.  cheesy   So does this chick.

Her hair texture is more similar to what most of us have. She's Nigerian and she has great tips on caring for natural hair. I hope one day to have hair like hers.
FashionRe: My Hair Woes by Riskie(op): 8:15pm On May 02, 2009
@ Sissy I grew out my hair for 4/5 months and then I cut off the relaxed ends. I had 2 inches of growth lol. I used to think my natural hair was too hard to manage as well but I realized that the handling and care matter more than the actual texture. My hair is a 4b with some 4a areas so it's as nappy as it gets lol.

Thermal straightening is more harsh than a regular relaxer. Our hair is already the most delicate of all even though it looks tough and hard because it is dry. The strands are actually very fine and fragile which is the reason our hair breaks easily and we think it won't grow. I wouldn't suggest this method of straightening for us. A lye relaxer is best because it doesn't leave mineral deposits on your hair like a no-lye.

@ Hauwa LOL! tangled naps can be scary but the water should soften up that bad boy. grin
