Thirdly, Jonathan shared the JOINT Federation account & ECA to all the 36 state governors despite his own better recommendation for prudence. So you should know who is really clueless by now. Fourthly, I see you need education, which I can PROVIDE to you generously. Below are 15 pages of just a SAMPLE of the socio-economic TRANSFORMATION work of Jonathan in just five years:

forgiveness: @bolded
First of, you asked what sports is to Yorubaland and I simply say sports means a lot to these present generation than the past generations, then Yorubas priorities education than others(military, police, sports etcetera). Although, many Yoruba parents still holds tightly unto that archaic philosophy or traditions(this one self just started 200 years ago) of 'you must go to school' but boy don no say no be only book fit bring ruch Come. Or do you think Yorubas don't see Obama, Mike, Adebayo and Co we no go school but day live large?
Bros, Your second question is strange to me and to those who are aware of Yoruba's exploits both in cerebral energy and physical energy sports. How soon have you forgotten the likes of Kareem Abdul Jabber and Hakeem Olajuwon once dominated the world in basketball, the likes of Rasheed Yekini, Emmanuel Adelanto, Segun Odegbami, Yakubu Aiyegbeni once dominated Africa and European football and even David Alaba is currently dominating all Africans put together in the European league, he was selected twice for UEFA first eleven(the regetted stone becoming the corner stone). have you forgotten so soon that Deji Ali, Deley Thompson(top 3 greatest decathlethes ever) Olusola Fasuba( the ninth fastest 100m ever), Femi Ogunode(fastest Asian 100m ever) once dominated Africa, Asia, Europe and the world at large, time will not permit me to mention Yoruba's dominance in boxing(Areaonakakanfo and Sir Shymm3x name okay for this one) , hockey, American football, etcetera. Are all these sports not part of physical energy sports?
Sir, permit me to humble say that your submissions are not cogent enough to dismiss the facts on ground. I rest my case. Shalom It is his observation but it is largely flawed if we look at the almost fragile make up of the white man physique and they still hold the ace in football worldwide... Pele,Ronaldo etc cannot be categorised as being sturdy but they are some of the greatest footballers in the world... |

if present day football administrators continue to promote some folks over another, they are more or less creating a mindset that good footballing can only come from x part of the country which we all know ain't true . . . . . .but again if a certain group have a dominant role in the playing career of this football teams, it's only goes to say future coaches, technical crew and administrators would again be chosen from this subset and thereby maintaining a jugular hold on football affairs, be able to determine selection, exit and entry criteria and of cos brand recognitions . . . . and some will even build a family dynasty/brand out of this, after all x brother played well so his sibling y should do us proud as well . . . . . . in some clime they call it institutional races and perhaps we might look for a name for this budding trend sooner than later . . . . hahaha You are really a gem.You just painted the abysmal picture of what the real situation was/is.I am sorry but it happens anywhere we have a preponderance of these people...market,civil service etc. They don't have the live and let live of the Yorubas... |

THIS IS GETTING INTERESTING.A LOT OF PEOPLE ARE WAKING UP,NOW.EVEN THE SIN..ATORS..lolNigeria loses N4tn to illegal mining yearly – SenateThe Senate on Thursday raised the alarm that the nation was losing N4tn yearly to illegal mining. The development came at a time that the nation was facing the challenges of a dwindling economy, following the sudden crash in the global oil price and other internal revenue leakages. The Senate therefore mandated its Committee on Solid Minerals to holistically investigate the activities of illegal miners in the country with a view to proffering lasting solutions to the problem. The Senate also directed the Inspector-General of Police, Solomon Arase, and other law enforcement agencies to live up to their responsibilities, particularly by arresting and prosecuting perpetrators of illegal mining in the country. The upper chamber further urged the executive at the federal, state and the local government levels to take concrete steps towards ending illegal mining in Nigeria. These resolutions were arrived at following a motion by Senator Duro Faseyi (Ekiti North), which he titled, “Illegal mining of the nation’s solid minerals.” In his submission on the motion, Faseyi drew the attention of the Senate to the worrisome and unlawful plundering of the nation’s solid minerals sector by local and foreign illegal miners operating in the country. He claimed that illegal mining had resulted in the nation’s loss of N8tn every two years, lamenting that this had impacted adversely on the economy. The politician told the Senate that illegal mining was thriving in Nigeria as a result of weak legislations and poor enforcement, adding that the situation had jeopardised the urgent need to diversify the economy from oil to solid minerals sector. Faseyi also explained that as a result of the progressive dwindling oil revenue, diversification of the economy had become imperative to shore up the nation’s earnings, boost the economy and create employment opportunities for the unemployed youths. He also hinted the Red Chamber that illegal mining had resulted in the devastation and pollution of the environment, leading to the death of hundreds of Nigerians as several thousands of others infected with various ailments, especially in the rural areas. The lawmaker observed that the government appeared to be helpless and lacking in strategy to tackle the problem which he described as a monumental economic sabotage. Senator Lanre Tejuoso pointed out that the solid minerals sector was not as successful as the petroleum sector in terms of revenue generation because the Federal Government had the monopoly of returns from the sector, unlike the liberality enjoyed by the oil sector in terms of control of its revenue. He therefore suggested that the Senate should make laws to empower state governments to have jurisdiction to control and harness solid minerals for more productive exploitation. In his remarks, the Senate President, Bukola Saraki, noted that the federal, state and local governments were losing huge revenues, coupled with environmental pollution from illegal mining. He urged the executive to do everything within its powers to tackle the problems to facilitate rapid national development. Also on Thursday, the Senate summoned Arase over the incessant spate of kidnappings in different parts of the country. The upper chamber condemned the menace and commiserated with those who had lost their loved ones to the incident. The federal parliament also resolved to make frantic efforts to review the extant laws on kidnapping, with the intention to impose stiffer penalties on culprits. It urged traditional institutions, religious authorities and Nigerians to be more vigilant and participate more actively in the security challenges facing the country. The resolution was the aftermath of a motion moved by Senator Andy Uba (Anambra South), who drew the attention of the Senate to the prevalent crime in Nigeria. He regretted that the crime had assumed dangerous dimensions, saying that it had spread to virtually all the parts of the country. http://punchng.com/nigeria-loses-n4tn-to-illegal-mining-yearly-senate/ |

IyaIode: When we are done with sports, i want to talk about terrorism, radicalisation and extremism in the SW.
Its no news that anywhere you find muslims in large numbers, the above is a worry ( i am muslim BTW).
I know Lagos State government has a firm grip on who becomes Imam in every mosque including private ones. I hope other SW states are coping this model, we already have a case of the knive holding BRITISH boy with a Yoruba name, we have also read about DSS operation against boko haram affiliate group in kogi (next door neighbor).
We don't want our kids getting radicalised, i hope DAWN or whoever is incharge is seriously taking this up. Of course, the overwhelming majority of Muslims are not terrorists or sympathetic to terrorists. Equating all Muslims with terrorism is wrong. But acknowledging that there is a link between Islam and terror is appropriate and very baffling. But there's one thing we must all be clear about: terrorism is not the pursuit of legitimate goals by some sort of illegitimate means and terrorism has no nationality or religion. Whatever the murderers may be trying to achieve, creating a better world certainly isn't one of their goals. Instead they are out to murder innocent people. As much as one shares your fears because of the large number of muslims in the SW,I think an average Yoruba man has this live and let live attitude and would rather try to convince you to follow his or her faith and if you say,NO...he leaves you to your destiny. |

I quoted my bruv shymm3x and deleted it, remembering that he is a Yoruba dude and Yorubas are known for their intelligence from time immemorial.Brudda...there are two sides to every issue, one side is right and the other is wrong, but the middle is always evil. The man who is wrong still retains some respect for truth, if only by accepting the responsibility of choice.
But the man in the middle is the knave who blanks out the truth in order to pretend that no choice or values exist, who is willing to sit out the course of any battle, willing to cash in on the blood of the innocent or to crawl on his belly to the guilty, who dispenses justice by condemning both the robber and the robbed to jail, who solves conflicts by ordering the thinker and the fool to meet each other halfway.
In any compromise between food and poison, it is only death that can win. In any compromise between good and evil, it is only evil that can profit. In that transfusion of blood which drains the good to feed the evil, the compromise is the transmitting rubber tube. You dig? We are a family...If someone were to harm my family or a friend or somebody I love, I would eat them. I might end up in jail for 1000 years, but I would eat them...lol |

EZEIGBO1OFIMO: Nigeria: What do we do this things for? Since we are in a season of prize winners, from the Golden Eagles to young genius that won the world scrabble championship I was not surprised to read this weekend that the country got another accolade, this time in the rarefied field of Mathematics. Out of excitement and curiosity I went online to find out what our professor of mathematics really did and how the rest of the world perceived it and how they showered him and by corollary Nigeria with accolades. I was disappointed and put on the alert when I discovered the story was only covered in Nigerian blogs and the that they were all similarly worded. I asked Senia Sheydvasser a PhD Mathematics student at Yale University about this earth shaking development and this is what he said. 'Everything about this reeks of it being fake. To start with, the credentials attributed to Dr. Enoch are entirely implausible. I was particularly amused by the line about discovering a "scientific technique for detecting and tracking someone on an evil mission." What does that even mean? Does this techniques read thoughts to determine whether someone is planning something evil? Can this technique be used to track someone who is on a mission that is in a moral gray area? What if they aren't so much on a mission so much as they partake in the occasional recreational evil? It makes no sense. I decided to look up the proceedings of the International Conference on Mathematics and Computer Science. Indeed, there does seem to have been a Dr. Enoch who spoke at this conference, and who talked about the spectral theory interpretation of the Riemann Hypothesis. However, the abstract does not seem to suggest that Dr. Enoch was announcing a proof of RH. It gets worse. Surely such an important paper would have to be published somewhere? Perhaps it would be on ArXiV or elsewhere on the Internet. I decided to have a look. I can't seem to find any trace of something like "A matrix that generates the point spectral of the Riemann Zeta function", which was the title of Dr. Enoch's talk. However, there is a paper titled "A Proof of the Riemann Hypothesis" online, uploaded by someone who claims to be Opeyemi Enoch, up on Academia.edu. If, indeed, this is Opeyemi Enoch that uploaded this paper, then he is guilty of very sloppy, very blatant plagiarism. To start with, the paper doesn't even have his name on it! It has the name of Werner Raab, who (I checked) published a paper online in 2013 that is almost line for line identical to the one on Academia.edu. I will admit that I didn't bother going through his paper (there are enough wrong proofs of RH on the Internet to drown in), but a quick overlook of the methods used (along with the fact that no one has heard of this paper in two years) suggests that there is a 0% chance that it could possibly be right. So, to summarize, no, the Riemann Hypothesis has not been solved. A general note: be suspicious of any story of this significance that does not get covered by any reputable news source, particularly when they claim not that a solution has been proposed to a long-standing conjecture, but that it has been solved outright. That is sensationalist garbage---the real world does not work like that.' Micheal Jørgensen, a PhD holder in Mathematics also said, 'There are a lot of copies of the story you cited, but no evidence to support the story. On Academia.edu - Share research Dr. Enoch has uploaded a number of paper regarding the Riemann Hypothesis, but none with himself as author: Federal University, Oye-Ekiti - Academia.edu.' So what exactly is this about? The stink of the fake Philip Emeagwali is still in the air, why are we letting ourselves in for another round of international ridicule. . . cc- cade lalasticlala seun ritchiee Bad belly or what is this for God sake?I believed he did it because his tribe(Yoruba)has the greatest number of the best black mathematicians in the world. This is a BBC link... http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p03891wc?ocid=socialflow_facebook |

yomexp: Ado-Ekiti- The 156 years old Riemann Hypothesis, the most important problem in Mathematics has been successfully solved by Nigeria Scholar, Dr Opeyemi Enoch. With this breakthrough, Dr Enoch, who teaches at the Federal University, Oye Ekiti (FUOYE), has become the fourth egghead to resolve one of the seven Millennium Problems in Mathematics. The Kogi State-born mathematician had, before now, worked on mathematical models and structures for generating electricity from sound, thunder and Oceanic bodies. A statement in Ado Ekiti yesterday said Dr Enoch presentation of the Proof on November 11, 2015 during the International Conference on Mathematics and Computer Science in Vienna, Austria becomes more symbolic coming on the exact day and month 156 years after the problem was delivered by a German Mathematician in 1859. The Riemann Zeta Hypothesis is one of the seven Millennium problems set forth by the Clay Mathematics Institute with a million Dollar reward for each solved problem for the past 16 years. According to the statement, “Dr Enoch first investigated and then established the claims of Riemann. He went on to Consider and to correct the misconceptions that were communicated by Mathematicians in the past generations, thus paving way for his solutions and proofs to be established. “He also showed how other problems of this kind can be formulated and obtained the matrix that Hilbert and Poly predicted will give these undiscovered solutions. He revealed how these solutions are applicable in cryptography, quantum information science and in quantum computers,” it stated. Three of the problems had been solved and the prizes given to the winners. This makes it the fourth to be solved of all the seven problems. Dr Enoch had previously designed a Prototype of a silo for peasant farmers and also discovered a scientific technique for detecting and tracking someone on an evil mission. Enoch has succeeded in inventing methods by which oil pipelines can be protected from vandalism and he is currently working on Mathematical approaches to Climate Change
