Like someone said up there, I know the way this white peeps especially the babes go gaga in the club here in the UK each time Oliver twist and Chop my Money is being played. I am sure Dbang will make it in the UK. Big up to MARVIN records, Big up to Dbang, Big up to D Jazzy. These guyz took naija music to a higher level. |
I am a very strong Dbanj fan and I have listened to the album like 5 times today. On a scale of 1 to 10, I will rate the album 7/10. I so much love the Yoyo song. |
bobbyruffy: Oga T.B Abeg see anoda vision, dz one is unvisionable. Its Bayern or u 4gt ityes o, the i always believe the man'visions but this one no follow at all. Chelski must not win it |
Who be this one? This JJC boi is a goat. Does anyone know him and his crew? Nonsense, them must notice me. |
Messi and CR&7 are currently the best players on earth at the moment. Messi has virtually broken so many records but on a personal note, I still think Ronaldinho was a delight to watch compared to both of them. Apart from his entertainment, anaother aspect I love so much in him is that he always smiles when playing. What do you think? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=klnG880TYOc https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=E97zHKmnl6A https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CuzNfIhdX1Q https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1gdMBcQ7Rrw |
Now all Barca haters should go and on you tube and watch referee's mistake against Barca during Pep's era. |
The Barca players are just too good that you can't avoid picking cards when playing against them and that is not going to change today. I don't think there is any bias in it cause those red card you mention were rightly deserved. Fine, I agree they were robbed in 2009. So what if Ashley Cole or any other player should show his stud or go with two footed challenge, should he not see red. |
Started with 504..........1980 till date (tear rubber) V/Boot 200 ...............1996 to 2007 (2nd hand) V/Boot 300............... 2000 to 2011 (2nd hand) Golf 3 Wagon ............. 2005 till date (2nd hand) Toyota Prado 2007 model full option.... 2006 till date (Tear rubber) Toyota Corrola 2011 model full option..... 2011 till date (Tear Rubber) I am still loving the 504 SR and can never buy a 2nd car again |
brinell: I do respect both DBang and Don Jazzy, but I think that its below par for DBang to talk about what he bought (personal) for a friend. Its like me demanding a return of gifts I gave to a girlfriend after we quit! Too low abeg! It was all good, and no one can say the other star became on its own. They all assisted each other to get to the height they are now. No logical argument will give all credit to one of them only. You just pointed something there that it is below par for dbanj to say he bought so and so for Jazzy. What about Jazzy taht was balbing that dbanj sing u cannot sing rap u cannot rap....... Is this not below par for Jazzy to be saying. |
deleo16: both of them were useful to each other without the beatof don jazzy, dbanj song will not sell and without dbanj the entertainer charisma , don jazzy will not be known as a good producerThumbs up, you have said it all. |
KINGwax: what godfather, what mentor, which lyrics? Are you being deluded or what? And some kept saying dbanj is arrogant but for 8yrs he never said he started mo hits, never made it knwn dt don jazzy never brought in any money? In fact, he made don jazzy popular by making him appear and perform wit him. He made us bilivd don jazzy own mo hits and signed him when d truth was him making don jazz a partner. You are so correct. Even if Dbanj does not own Mohits, at least they both have it 50/50. If this breakup had not come up, all of us including my humble self would still have that perception that Jazzy owns mohit 100% and like you pointed out there, for 8 good solid years, Dbanj never said it. Now to nairalanders, who is more humble here? |
Why so much hatred on Dbanj! When Jazzy was saying his side of the whole bullshit everybody was having a go at Dbanj. Now Dbanj has said his own and people are calling it a skewed story. Why didn't they call Jazzy's garbage a cooked story. Now, how many othernaija artist shout or sing praises on their producers the way Dbanj did? The bottom line is that they both must have wronged each other one way or the other. It is obvious they both own mo-down and if they do, why should Jazzy be portraying himself as the BO$$. There are so many questions to be answered before drawing conclusion |
i don't pay tithe. I will rather booze with my tithe money than use it to enrich some people that call themselves pastor. My dear please in the name of God give it to your brother. |

javijabor: ITS NOT A WELL ITS A RESERVOIR FOR STORING WATER. THAT'S WHY THEY COULD SIT AND WASH ON IT AND ITS USUALLY WIDER THAN A NORMAL WELL.Exactly, it is a reservoir and not the normal type of well. I remember i do sleep on the one in my hostel at evenings when there is power failure back then in Uniben |
does anyone know the meaning of Warri or the origin? |
tellwisdom: For your mind, you have just made a point. Isnt it??Yes, I have made a point and that is my own opinion. We both have our different opinions. You can have the guy with walking stick and I can have d'banj. I personaly believe they both made each other and they both miss each other one way or the other. Gbam |
Y do u ppl keep shouting that he's one of the best producers?Whom did he produce that rated him as the best producer? Is it not D'banj?Who made Don Jazzy himself this popular?Isn't it D'banj?D'banj took it upon himself to let evryone know that he loves his producer,he carried him along by mentioning his name in practically all his songs, always made sure Don Jazzy was on stage at all his performances despite the fact that Don Jazzy does absolutely NOTHING on stage but to walk around with his walking stage (U all kno' D'banj is totally outstanding on stage) etc so those who chat that Don Jazzy made D'banj shld reason deeper 'cos D'banj equally made Don Jazzy. If truly Don J was fully responsible for D'banj's success,y then has it taken him forever to even release a flipping album for his younger brother D'Prince? Why then hasn't he turned his D'Prince into another D'banj? Can someone answer pls As far as i am concerned,of the Mo'hits artistes,Wande Coal and D'banj are the only ones who make Mo'Hits tick.Don J should count himself happy that Wande is still dere else he himself (Don j) would have been in a jonzing world! |

temi777:100% correct. i spend £8 each time i go cut my hair. there are so many jobs posted on job center plus daily. Also, my gf fixes weavon for £15. So if you can learn a handwork most especially the plumber stuff, you can make it big. |
justwise:mr justwise, i get your point but at the same time, it depends on what you mean by being prepared financially. i am not the type who spend extravagantly. i actually came to the UK with £4500 as my maintenance money to cover me till august when i will round up the program. last year i did not work because i wanted to see how my result will be like and like i said earlier, i had three A and one B. i had friends working since sept when we came in and they also did well. Between sept and dec i spent less than £1500. i buy food stuffs like garri, indomine, plantain and and stuffs to cook soup from the african shop though a little bit expensive but stuffs like onion, chicken, veg oil, eggs, tomatoes etc i get them from asda and tesco which are of reasonable price far better than the price i will get them from the african shop. the point i am trying to make here is that i dont spend up to £30 in feeding for a week and I work £74.4 every week for 12hrs. though i will not advice anyone to come here without paying your tuition fee and getting were to stay. |
erico2k2:Hey, i am presently in the UK studying for my msc. Presently i am working 12hrs out of the 20hrs allowed for students during term time comfortably well and it is not affecting my studies one bit. with the money i make, i dont even touch my allowance i came with from 9ja though i paid my tuition and accommodation fees in full before coming. one good thing about my school is that they give hardship funds to student. just last week i got £600 from my school after filling the form. though i told them some funny stories lol as a naija guy, i cant come back to that country at the end of the program without getting at least the £5560 i paid for my school accommodation. my gf is here also and she has 2 different jobs and she makes up to £65 every week |
I also try to learn how to eat their local food here because getting 9ja food from the african shops are pretty expensive. I use shops like asda, tesco which sell cheap stuffs. calling naija is very cheap using lebara but i heard lyca mobile is cheaper. |
Every serious minded naija student should be able to survive academically over here in the UK becos the academic environment is very much okay. I graduated from UNIBEN with a 2.2 and my first semester result here, I made 3 As and 1 B. Currently in my second semester. I am self sponsored. Even though my parents have tried to provide me with good cash, I also work 12hrs per week part-time job cleaning job with a pay of £6.20 per hour i.e £74.4 every week .convert that to naira with 250 as exchange rate is 18,600 naira every week. with this cash, I dont get to use the money my parents gave me. |

SENATORS may, this week, take delivery of their official Toyota Land Cruiser jeeps, The Nation on Sunday can reveal. The cost per unit of the 2011 model of the jeep obtained from the manufacturer's website is $100,724 - about N16,115, 840. The total cost of the vehicles for the 109 senators is put at over N1.7 billion. A competent source in the National Assembly told our correspondents yesterday that the senators opted for the Land Cruiser jeep because of its unique features. In the sixth Senate, senators settled for Toyota Camry at a unit cost of N9 million. Some of the features of the Land Cruiser obtained online include: Displacement cc - 4500; Transmission - Automatic; and Fuel Type - Diesel. Sources said "no contractor" was used in purchasing the vehicles. The National Assembly Service Commission reportedly handled the purchase transaction. The Commission, sources said, might have opted to buy directly from the manufacturer to reduce cost. Sources said the delivery of the vehicles will be in batches while vehicle documents would be handed over to individual senators in their offices after delivery. It was also gathered that furnishing of offices of senators would commence this week as contracts for the supply of refrigerators, computers and other office equipment have been sealed. Efforts to speak with the Chairman, Senate Committee on Information, Media and Public Affairs, Senator Enyinnaya Abaribe, on the supply of the jeeps and other office items were unsuccessful as he did not answer calls put across to him yesterday. But a senator who spoke to one of our correspondents on condition of anonymity simply said "we have been on this issue for some time." He added "I cannot confirm anything because I have not seen any vehicle but we have been on this issue for some time. But I think they are not buying vehicles for senators as such. What I know is that they want to procure vehicles to facilitate the work of committees." http://www.thenationonlineng.net/2011/index.php/news/36544-n1-8bn-jeeps-for-senators.html |
