Your sister can get a job. If she can work, raise some cash and say uncle aunty i have so n so amount. Can you please assist me with the balance? I doubt if they will refuse because they have really tried. |
Frankly speaking, except God does something, there is no way your sist will win any appeal. Like somebody said up there, the guidelines f☺r submitting coursework are clearly stated. I just submitted my msc dissertation last week and while submitting d hard copies, the collector asked me several times "hope u have submitted online" and I said yes mam. Even they day b4 the final submission, the course leader sent us a reminder to that effect that only those who submitted online in turnitin and d 2 hard copies will be assessed. Failure to do that will mean an extension. Your sister should g̶̲̥̅̊☺ to God in prayers but I must say winning any appeal will be by His Grace. I'd advice your family and friends should hustle money f☺r her to get a 2.1 cos 3rd get as e be. After all the suffer it will be difficult to get a job. |
I should have supported OBJ for a third term. I wish OBJ was still my president. |
The Notherners (Bokoharam and sponsors) have prevented us from seeing any good thing GEJ and his government are doing. The insecurity in Nigeria is really affecting her development. I have heard stories of war and I dont want to be part of it or experience it. IBB and co should talk to their boys. |
DEVIL PUNISH WIZKID GENERATION IF TRULY HE TWEETED THAT GARBAGE |
Personally, I do not see anything wrong in that. The man must have given it a thought the number of unemployed graduate in the society today. I think it is better he gives this opportunity to graduates that those aboki drivers. Not only that, even if it is 50k per month, there are so many nce, hnd, ond not to talk about bsc holders that are looking for a job that will give them that amout to keep body and soul together. I dont see any insult in it. No university graduate planned of being a truck driver but the way things are in our country, there is no choice. Nowadays, it is not about building a career again but getting a means of living. Let jobless graduate apply and keep doing it while still searching and hoping for their desired kind of job. Thumbs up Dangote group. |
saxywale: From my own personal experience both home and abroad. In the UK, you would receive a feedback from 99% of all online job applications.Thank you very much. This will help |
You guyz should please say something na! |
Recently, I saw a post here on nairaland whereby the poster said something like in Nigeria only hard copy CVs submitted to companies are screened. I am becoming to believe this because of my personal experience. I am a masters student in the UK about rounding up. Since I started writing my dissertation 2months ago, I have submitted over 350 CVs for job vacancies both home(Nigeria) and abroad online. Online in the sense that those that require you to upload your CV and Cover letter in their company's web site via some links and those that require you send your CV and cover letter to their recruitment email address. I have equally received positive and negative feed back from most of the foreign applications but not 1 single reply not even negative response from any of the Nigerian companies I applied to. Now, from my experience and what a nairalander earlier said, it is only logical to conclude that online applications are not being regarded in Nigeria. I believe this companies only advertise for advertising sake and their online systems don't work. In other words, it all comes down to man when know man connection. Please share your thoughts too. |
And I guess this is our own Toke Makinwa of nairaland. she looks cutie

Who are the Nigerians putting presure on him to contest? Buhari should act as a stakeholder/elder states man and advice the government. When I was growing up, they said we are the leaders of 2moro smh, yet this old man want to still contest election. |
last year this question was asked. it has been asked today again. next year another person will still ask. simple mnet wants to make money. it is all business. |

4evergod3: ALL OF YOU WHO ARE RAINING INSULTS ON THE STUDENTS OF UNILAG..... YES TO ME ITS STILL UNILAG AT LEAST THEY CAN SPEAK WHEN POKED AND SPEAK OUT INDEED. WE ALL NEED TO LEARN HOW TO GIVE OURSELVES A VOICE AND SPEAK OUT WHEN WRONGED. WE JUST DON'T HAVE TO ALWAYS TAKE THE EASY WAY OUT AND KEEP SAYING ''DON'T WORRY EVERYTHING IS GOING TO BE ALRIGHT". SOMETIMES WE NEED TO MAKE THINGS ALRIGHT. JONATHAN OR WHATEVER HE IS CALLED NEVER FOLLOWED DUE PROCESS BEFORE THE NAME CHANGE AND AS USUAL THIS IS JUST ONE OF THEIR WAYS OF SAYING TO YOU AND I THE ORDINARY NIGERIANS THAT WE DO NOT HAVE A VOICE AND WHATEVER THEY SAY MUST STAND EVEN WHEN THEY ARE OBVIOUSLY WRONG. NIGERIANS WAKE UP. THE ISSUE NOW IS NOT JUST ABOUT GEJ AND UNILAG ITS ABOUT THE WAY OF GOVERNMENT IN GENERAL. WE ARE THE PEOPLE AND WE DESERVE A SAY IN HOW OUR AFFAIRS ARE HANDLED. PERIOD!I really don't know much about the Nigeria constitution but if it is within the powers of the President to change the name without consulting anybody then there is nothing the anybody can do. |
Originakalokalo: I am sure they will believ the general saying that aluta continua, victoria acerta.it wont work this time.rather,it is aluta continua, victoria is my wife!!!!! becos that name MAU has come to stay.Abeg help me tell them. Nigeria is a place that you hardly see peaceful protest. Some will just join the bandwagon and in the process, get injured or killed in the process. They will end up dying for nothing because the name has come to stay. University of Ife was changed to OAU long ago and till today, the school still remain great and one of the best. |
Abeg you guyz should keep quiet about Jazzy being producer of Oliver Twist. Diring the grammys, when Adele, Chris Brown and co were winning Record of the Year, Song of the Year, R&B Album of the year etc, they never mentioned the producer of those songs/album. There is a category for producer of the year. Credit for Oliver Twist should solely go to Dbanj cos when the acolades for producers come, they dont go to the artist. jazzy jazzy jazzy wetin self, na him first produce song. Dbanj Twale for you, you will keep going up by God's grace and shame your haters. |
First of all, Reuben abati you have 0 credibility. Second, I will vote for anybody who wants to divide Nigeria. 3rd. I stand with Buhari by saying that the federal govt led by Jonathan is the biggest boko since he has not done anything to prove otherwise. 4th how can jonathan be talking about corruption in the petroleum industry during buhari when he set and is still keeping a world record. 5th. This entire release is egocentrical, petty and thus thrash! 6th. Resign now jonathan
You are just a silly brainless Boko Haram like your mentor Buhari. He will never, I repeat will never rule nigeria again. Even though GEJ has failed to an extent, he is better that that Devil. |
Buhari, never accept defeat in his life. He never send a congratulatory message to the winner. He believes he is knowledgable than any other people. That bloodshed he is advocating, he will surely be the first to die on it. I dont think he is a politician having also declared once that he can do without a certain region. Is he a nationalist ? no.How can you concentrate your electoral campaign in your zone without identifying the need of other regions and expect supports. Who said until we elect Buhari the election is not free and fair. There is an umpire and they declared PDP and Jonathan winner and the Supreme Court confirmed it. International observers agreed to the results. There were problems but they were not sufficient to nullify the elections. What else. How dare you call Nigerians dogs and barboons. I think the reverse is the case because you Buhari display worst attributes than those of these animals you have mentioned. Tomorrow he will be shedding crocodile tears as if though he loves Nigeria. Talking about Boko haram, Buhari, Atiku and co are the Boko Harams. When they said if GEJ wins, they will make Nigeria ungovernable. We Nigerians were thinking it was a mere talk but it is happening right before our eyes. BH were not as known during Yar Adua's time. My question is, is it a birthright for the North to rule Nigeria? That is why I like OBJ, by now, this devil would have been locked up. |

Dbanj or Jazzy or i care is that naija songs are slamming in UK clubs same with chop my money and oleku which I am happy about. The other day I was in a saloon cutting my hair and Oliver Twist was played on the TV. I was surprised to see a white guy ryming the song. |
Congrats Oskibanj....I hope this is a step upwards for you. God be with you |
ZUBY77: Kanu Nwankwo should learn to shutp up. Yekine was in the same line of business with him. Kanu should have been the one to help yekini because he has money. Who is he pointing at now. Does he think that Nigerians are stupid? You should learn to shut ur mouth if you don't have any good thing to say. Yekini played for Nigeria and not Kanu. Our clueless NFF are just there stealing tax payers money. No wonder most Nigeria sportsmen and women prefare to play for other countries. Kanu has paid his dues with his Heart Foundation. |
