Did online governor Maduka participate in this election?

After all the plenty royal blessings from royal fathers and online endorsements from various stakeholders. I pity the man and his bank account.

What happened to the acclaimed online people’s choice of Maduka? Did he even get up to 1000 votes? After all the eye service philanthropic gifts.

Someone should please tell me what happened to him.

I’m not an Anambrarian but having watched and listened to this debate up to the 1 hour mark, Anambra people will make a big mistake if they allow APC rig this election. Uba has virtually nothing to offer to the state. He will be the worse governor in the history of the state if Anambra people allow FG to rig him in.

I wished the so called people’s choice of Maduka was here for me to rate him. So far it is between Soludo and Valentine. Based on their comments,

On roads and infrastructure, I give it to Valentine

On Economy and IGR they are both on par with Soludo slightly ahead.

On IPOB/ESN, they both agreed on same approach so 50-50

On bringing Anambra billionaires back to invest in the state, Soludo just fall Uba hand on tax exemption. I give this to Valentine. The guy has plans if only he can implement them if he wins. If you understand the sport, you will know that priority is always given to the leading driver especially when the second driver has nothing to lose.

5 secs is a huge penalty in F1 much more 10 secs. See how 5 secs penalty move Perez from 3rd to 5th.

If Lewis was at fault, they would have given him a 30 second stop and go penalty plus a 10 place grid drop!

Verstappen’s action was intentional; rather than let Lewis out score him, he would knock him out and neutralize their scores.

Lewis was on the medium and would easily have made up positions by going long on the hard in his first stint, Verstappen was on the hard and lost position from a bad pit stop and would probably have finished in 5th or less while Lewis may have finished P1!

�. On point. Absolutely true. Mercedes need to up their game on pit stops as well like Redbull. If Lewis had not spent 4 sec during his pit stop, he would have come out ahead of Lando and probably avoid this crash and then chased Ricciado for the win.

Bro Lewis got 10 secs penalty at Silverstone and not 1. We do not have 1 second penalty in F1. I guess it was a typo error from you.

FIAMG & Toto want their man boy toy to win at any & everyone else’s expense.
First time in a while Hamilton gets real competition and we see how he crumbles and complains under the slightest application of pressure.
Despite doing far worse to Max at Silverstone, sending him crashing hundreds of km/h and costing the poor boy at worst a 15 to 18, possibly a 25 point lead in the WDC
he’s allowed to get away with just a light tap on the wrist.
What should have been regarded as a racing incident is been blown of of proportions.
A supposed 7-time World Drivers Champion with all the experience is having his sh1t pushed in so far that he’s choked his lead on multiple occasions this season. Even when Pole positions are handed to him he still manages to mess it up requiring and sacrificing Bottas each time to cover up his a$$ when he gets exposed.

I’m sincerely impressed with and happy for Bottas who actually fought his way into Pole position during the Qualifiers and then had to go down to 19th in the race due to circumstances beyond his control but still fought his way back up to the podium @ 3rd.
Also an impressive 1-2 win the McLaren team too.

This your analysis is not valid and biased. Max was just too aggressive and should have backed out from that move just the way Lewis backed out in turn 2 at the start of the race. That is experience from Lewis.

It was a tactical foul if I may call it from Max because he knew LH would have gone for the win if he had stayed ahead after he Max spent 11+ secs on the pit which was gameover for him in terms of winning the race.

The verdict of the stewards is fair and I think Max should have gotten 5 place penalty in Sochi and not 3.

The actions of the driver is so wrong in all ramifications irrespective of what transpired before the start of the video recording and I condemn his his actions in the strongest terms.

However, it will be great if the police will apply same speed used in coming out with this statement in condemning the actions of the driver and bringing the culprit to book to other criminal cases that trend on social media against police officers. This was same speed they used for the one way driver incident few days back.

So I have been on leave throughout this past week and virtually been indoors.

All I have been watching on tv is the ministerial screening and big brother.

On the big brother, there are very few intelligent housemates in the house.

Amongst the guys in no particular order, I will pick Seyi, Mike and Omashola.

From the ladies, I see only one super intelligent lady there in the person of Jackye. Maybe I should add Kaffi but not sure.

You see what I meant by Ferrari always having stability issues. After topping all the practice section, see what happened to their cars in qualifying today in the German GP. Both Vettel and Leclerc had problems with their cars. Reliability.

Here is just a short testimony and to encourage others not to ever give up.

I was working with a construction company sometime ago until our project was completed sometime mid last year and the company was not getting new projects. As construction companies are, unfortunately I was among those that was laid off despite all my loyalty, contribution and sacrifices to the success of the company as I was one of the best Employee.

Getting a new job wasn’t easy. Everyday I get job notifications from jobberman, hot nigeria jobs....etc. I also checked online for other job vacancies. Nothing positive was coming.

I started UBER/Taxify with my car to make ends meet. Everyday I go out with my laptop and when I’m not carrying a passenger, I park somewhere and continue my online job hunting inside my car until I get a pickup request.

Anyways, when I see online applications especially here on nairaland, I see people posting online applications don’t work or things like this position has already been occupied blah blah blah.....etc. However, I never gave up. I kept on applying even for jobs beyond my number of years of experience as long as they are within my field and background.

Fast forward to June 2019, I got interview invitation for 2 different jobs. The first one, I’m still expecting feedback after passing 2 stages of interview. The second one which is a testimony, I got employment offer on Friday with a basic monthly salary of over NGN800k plus excluding other allowances and bonus.

The reason for this post is never to give up in online job applications. It doesn’t take anything to to create time and apply no matter what you think.

Below are screenshots of my saved job applications. For each job I apply, I save them because I always tweak my CV to fit into the particular job. Not just sending generic CV and also to know which CV and cover letter I submitted to a particular organization if I am invited for interview.

NB: Kindly note that not all jobs are gotten through connections and recommendations. There are several jobs out there you can get on merit and God's favour.

Exactly. I think if he knew that would prevent him from participating in future veto power games, he would have nominated someone. It was a good strategy by him which backfired. After all it is a game.

Don’t let Bottas see the first part of this post lol @ journey man. Yeah, Mercedes doesn’t want that kind of rivalry that happened between Lewis and Nico thereby causing team disharmony. Remember 2016 Spanish GP.

I will rather have Max Verstappen as Mercedes second driver than Leclerc. Before leclerc will leave Hamilton in the dust, Hamilton would have retired. Hamilton is just waiting to beat Michael Schumacher record before retiring which he will do hopefully before the end of 2020.

I will like to see Hamilton in a Ferrari car though. At least for a season. Like they say in football, if you have not played for Real Madrid, forget it.

[color=#1980BC]Hell Yeah...Most F1 engines are a fine balance of power and stability...Too much power and will you end up with an overshot engine which might not even finish a circuit not to talk of changing the engine with the attendant result of points being deducted. Too much stability and you will have a relatively 'slow' car the less said about it the better. Most car constructors try to find a trick balance to all of the these coupled with a driver with good engine management skills and racing strategies...Tis a very complex and complicated albeit exciting sports,this. I agree with you in terms of their strategy and the quality of of their driver (Hamilton). Bottas is not good. Put Bottas in a red bull car or a Ferrari car, he cannot still match Hamilton. Bring any of the young chaps into a Mercedes car and see how they perform. He has not given Hamilton the kind of fight Nico did before retiring. I will pick Vettel ahead of Bottas any day.

But then, in terms of car reliability, Mercedes is far ahead of Ferrari.
