Last week, I had to visit 5 different branches in Abuja before I could withdraw 3million naira. The crazy thing was when one of the branch said they can only pay me 50k.

I had to wait in their regional branch till 4pm before they could give me the complete money because nobody will come in after 4pm.

Efe is a very dull guy with nothing to offer. He may eventually win the N25million and get some endorsement deal thereafter but trust me, he will fizzle out very quickly. His jokes are dry so, he can't even make it as a stand up comedian.

We voted for GEJ in 2011 because he claimed he had no shoes while growing up. We should not make the mistake of sheepishly voting for Efe because he claims to come from a poor background.

There are some things that are simply unexplainable. Efe is one of such. Aside the stunt he pulled on stage when going in, nothing special about him. All trucks and haulage (long) vehicles should be encouraged to move at night from 8PM to 7AM.

Most of the accidents lately are either Dagote truck ramming into a vehicle or a tanker ramming into other vehicles while trying to overtake.

b) state of the roads this rainy season.

For me, I will use:

Abuja - Lokoja - Okene - Auchi - Ekpoma - Benin (By-pass) - Ore - then straight down to Lasgidi.

If you leave Abuja as early as 5:30am, by 7:30am, you are at Lokoja. 9:15am you are at Okene. 1pm, you are in Benin outskirts. The road from Benin to Lagos is pretty good. By 8pm, you are in Lagos.

This is if you can do an average of 130-140km/h.

If you follow this route, the not too good section of the road is Lokoja to Okene and Okene to Okpella.

Now this kind of negligence can only happen in a country called Nigeria.

I was driving to work this morning and discovered that this traffic light is being obstructed by a sign board along Shehu Shagari road Maitama, close to MTN office and opposite the defence house.

There are two possibilities here:

1. Either the sign board has been there before the traffic light was installed or

2. The traffic light was installed and then the sign board was put there.

But obviously, it looks like that sign board has been there for a long time before the traffic light was installed because you can see how rusted the sign board is.

Now, what is the authority doing about this? Are we to assume that the appropriate authority body has not noticed this. When the traffic light was installed, was there no inspection?

If someone was building a house close there, the next minute you will see the local authority with their red paint writing STOP WORK. But in this particular case, they won't notice this.

Someone should please draw this to the attention of the necessary government agency or better still let me know the government agency in-charge.

If there is a mutual understanding between you and the landlord, you may get refund for the remaining months if you bring somebody to rent it or if the landlord get someone to rent the property.

Otherwise if the property remains vacant till your rent runs out, forget it.

If the landlord is difficult, you have every right to move out and insist that nobody rents it till your rent expires.
