THE END IS AT HAND

A pastor was traveling Last week, he saw an old man, and gave him alift. While they were going, the old man said; my son, do you knowwhat happened in Heaven last night? The pastor was so terrified andhurriedly parked and asked; Sir, are you sleeping? How did you get the information about Heaven? The Old man said; last night in Heaven God became very angry with man and asked the Angels to blow the trumpet. The angels picked up the trumpets and as they were about to blow it Jesus fell down and began to plead in tears. The blood that came out of His hands and body were very fresh. He told God that His death shouldn't be in vain. God couldn't stand the pains of the saint and the wickedness of the evil ones. So He said; "AM GIVING THEM THEIR LAST CHANCE.". Jesus then turned to the angels and...told them to move down in their numerous numbers to tell the worldthat "THE END IS NEAR, JESUS IS COMING VERY SOON". The pastor(sweating and crying) asked; sir, how did you know this?. The OLD MAN replied; I am one of the Angels sent to the World. Please use everymedium of communication to send this message. No time to waste,Please! And the old man disappeared. Brethren, this story is real,Christ is coming Soon. Please REPENT. I beg of you. Please pass thismessage round. Copy and paste it, share it, call, email and text it. PLEASE SAVE A SOUL TODAY. I Have done my part, it's now your turn to spread theGospel. No wealth can be compared to life everlasting in Heaven. DON'TIGNORE

Jesus is the same yesterday, today and forever!

What is so special about Buhari self. Even when he turns 100, some people will still want him to rule. Yet this same pple will still be the once singing to their kids that they are the leaders of tomorrow.
Well, I have been hearing people on this forum saying Fashola is working but I have never heard of same for any northern state governor. If not for the federal character rubbish that has been put in Nigeria politics by all the political parties, I would have gone for

FASHOLA, AKPABIO and OSHIOMOLE

With any of them as President or Vice.

PoliticsPDP Not Happy Over Jonathan, Obasanjo Feud by ritux(op): 1:55am On Dec 03, 2012
STRONG indications emerged, yesterday, that the ruling Peoples Democratic Party, PDP is not supporting President Goodluck Jonathan on his attack on former President Olusegun Obasanjo, especially through aides.

According to PDP,  Obasanjo may not be perfect in his actions or utterances,  but  Jonathan must tread softly because of the personality of the two- time President.

It also noted Obasanjo’s status as a former Military Head of State and a civilian President.

Speaking with some journalists in Abuja, yesterday, a member of PDP National  Working Committee of the party, NWC who spoke on condition of anonymity, said that President Jonathan must not undermine the powerful influence of Obasanjo among the northern oligarchy stressing that it was not necessary for the President to take on Obasanjo.

The NWC member said the President should not allow his aides to create friction between him and the former President, adding that exchanging words on the pages of newspapers with the former President was uncalled for.

The NWC member, who noted that  Jonathan was not properly advised  to take on  Obasanjo, especially against the backdrop that he benefited from the former President, said:  “We are concerned about this feud between the President and former President Obasanjo. The  President must watch it. It is dangerous for him to take on this man, who is very close to the northern oligarchy.

“Jonathan should rather speak with him as a father because of his second term ambition. This is not the time to start fighting people like Obasanjo.

“We all know that Jonathan’s popularity has waned. He should not make Obasanjo a hero because Nigerians have this belief that the President is not handling the security situation in the country well.

“The President is not popular in majority of the states in the north and South-West. If he allows this the people in these areas will work against him and his second term dream will remain in the pipeline for a long time. He should not think that votes from the South-East and South-South can give him a second term ticket.

“It was this same Obasanjo who appealed to restive members of the party at the Eagles Square when Jonathan picked the party’s presidential ticket.

“That time, the north was very angry that the party did not follow the zoning formula as enshrined in its constitution following the death of President Umaru Yar’Adua.”

However, both the National Secretary of the PDP, Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, and National Publicity Secretary, Chief Olisa Metuh, have said there was no problem between the former President and Jonathan.
When contacted,  Oyinlola said “the issue of Odi killings will not cause hostility between the two leaders of our party,”

Metuh, on his part, said both leaders were working together towards deepening democracy in Nigeria.

It will be recalled that President Jonathan during the media chat penultimate week had faulted the attack on Odi community by Obasanjo, saying the action was not a solution to the problem.

CelebritiesRe: 2face Vs Dbanj: Who Is The Bigger Star? by ritux: 3:00am On Dec 01, 2012
It would have been better if those of you talking about lyrics and all the many bla bla blah say Tuface is a bigger star or Dbanj is a bigger star.
CelebritiesRe: 2face Vs Dbanj: Who Is The Bigger Star? by ritux: 2:56am On Dec 01, 2012
naturalwaves: I can't believe some of the comments I am seeing here. Why are some people so daft? The Op asked a simple question of who is a bigger star between D'banj and Tuface and some persons are saying trash about lyrics, noise bla bla bla. What has lyrics or type of song got to do with being a star? A star is a star.Sentiments has so much covered some people's reasoning ability. No wonder the IQ of an average Nigeria was put at less than a 60. embarassed embarassed embarassed

Back to topic, Dbanj is more of a Star than Tuface at the moment. Infact, that is unarguable. Comparing D'banj to Tuface with respect to Stardom is like comparing a Seadorff (Ac milan player) to Xavi (the Bercelonia midfielder), one's career is about to wound off and he is struggling to hold it while the other is well above par and a rave of the moment.

There are so much evidences to show that D'banj is the bigger star and has more influence.

1) D'banj, through his music has been able to put a lot of street slangs in the mouth of an average Nigerian. Slangs like FILE (don't touch it), KOKO, NO LONG THING , LABATA etc just to mention a few. This shows that he cuts across more as a star as whatever he says or do becomes common among viewers. Before 2004, Nigerians hardly put on those slim fitted round neck T-shirts, we have not started customising T- shirts also. Dbanj showed all those in his KOKO video when he customised a Pink shirt with a Lagos number plate and customising became an instant thing. He cuts acroos more than Tuface in that regard.

2) There is hardly any musical award that Tuface has won that D'banj has not won and even more. Tuface was the first to win an MTV Base Best African Act in Nigeria, D'banj not only repeated the feat but won it twice as well. Moreover, at the MAMA Awards which is also an MTV awards I.e MTV African Music Awards, he won about 3 awards again in one night including best African Act again (making it 3 times). He won 2 Kora awards in his debut year 2004, best new act and the most promising male Artist in Africa. From that to Hippop awards to NMA to Channel O to MOBO and so on and so forth. He has won everything winnable as far as Africa is concerned. Infact, the total number of collective MTV awards that Dbanj has won is 5. Tuface has only won one.So, how is Tuface a bigger star than him?

3)The average download of all of D'banjs songs online and views alone is more than all the record sales of Tuface Idibia put together. If you are in doubt, just log on to youtube and check. Oliver Twist alone has more than 11 million views on Youtube. None of Tuface's song has up to 3 million views if atall it is even near that. If D'banj is not a bigger star, why is he better in this regard? Why does his song have more followership?

4) Have you ever seen where Dbanj is performing on stage? That is enough to show who the greater star is. The way the Audience reacts at the mention of D'banj's name alone is enough proof. If Tuface is a bigger star, why is the crowd not always cheering as loud as they do for Dbanj? In the days of Micheal Jackson everyone saw what the reaction was always like anytime he steps on stage as he was the biggest star then. This a very glaring example for anyone that is not blind to see.

5)With regards to Endorsements, Dbanj is bigger. Financially, he is a bigger star. He is scandal free and so on.

6) Even if you disregard all the above points, the mere fact that Dbanj signed to G.O.O.D label which is one of the top record labels in the world is enough to show that he is a bigger star between the two.Dbanj rubs shoulders with some of the biggest stars in the world through that signing only. Can you compare a C.Ronaldo signing for a club like Real Madrid which is one of the best and biggest clubs in the world with another player like Suarez signing for Liverpool? and then ask an obvious question of who the bigger star is? That makes the question look stewpid.

D'banj beats Tuface hands down in all ramifications with respect to Stardom. I like Tuface with a passion, maybe when the issue of who has got the best talent arises, you can start comparing them but THERE'S NO basis for comparing who the bigger star is as it is obviously Dbanj without sentiments.
God bless you. I was just about saying same in terms of understanding the question. Simple question who is a bigger star? More than 80% of narialanders failed the question. SMH in disbelief

PhonesApple Marketing Chief Phil Schiller Introduces The Iphone 5 by ritux(op): 10:04pm On Sep 12, 2012
Apple has introduced the iPhone 5, the latest version of its best-selling smartphone, with a taller screen, faster mobile broadband access and an upgraded camera.
Prepare for round-the-block queues, a new Apple iPhone is coming to town and, as ever, this one is slimmer and faster than before.

Apple announced the iPhone 5 at an event in San Francisco last night. Showing off the new smartphone, Phil Schiller, Apple's marketing chief said: "We've updated very aspect of iPhone 5."

The new handset is 18 per cent thinner and 20 per cent lighter than the iPhone 4S but runs twice as fast, with graphics that are twice as fast, thanks to a new processor, said Schiller. Apple has also upgraded the camera in the iPhone to include new features such as a low-light mode and a panorama feature.

The iPhone 5 is Apple's first smartphone capable of 4G, the super-fast mobile broadband technology that is due to begin in Britain within weeks. Earlier this week, mobile network EE announced plans to launch a 4G service imminently and the iPhone 5 is likely to be one of the handsets available to new customers.

Britain's other mobile networks cannot begin offering their 4G services until next year, after an auction of extra radio spectrum.

SportsSerena Lands 15th Grand Slam Crown . Collects $1.9million by ritux(op): 1:14am On Sep 10, 2012
What a remarkable summer for her. Wimbledon, 2 Olympic Gold medals and now US Open grand slam

Serena Williams claimed her fourth US Open title and 15th grand slam crown as she beat Victoria Azarenka in a dramatic three-set final at Flushing Meadows on Sunday night.

The American appeared on course for a rapid victory as she stormed through a one-sided first set to move ahead.

But world number one Azarenka showed superb character and resilience to force her way back into the contest and, having levelled the match, looked the more likely winner for long spells in the decider.

Indeed, the Belarusian served for the match at 5-4 but lost her form and allowed Williams to break back and stay alive.

Having held serve, the American then broke her opponent again to seal a thrilling 6-2 2-6 7-5 triumph - her first in New York since 2008.

"I honestly can't believe I won," Williams said at the post-match ceremony. "I really was preparing my runners-up speech. She's playing so great. I'm really shocked and so happy to have gotten so far."

Azarenka was gracious in defeat, and said she would leave the tournament with no regrets.

"At the moment it's tough, but Serena deserved to win," the 23-year-old said. "She showed how true a champion she is. I'm just honoured standing with such a champion here.

"I definitely gave it all today and stepping out of this court today I will have no regrets."

For Williams it was also redemption of a kind after last year's final defeat by Sam Stosur, which was marred by an altercation between Williams and umpire Eva Asderaki over a hindrance call, for which she was later fined.

Williams is only the world number four but she was a clear favourite going into the match after a stellar summer that included her fifth Wimbledon title and two Olympic gold medals.

The 30-year-old, meanwhile, had beaten Azarenka in nine of their 10 previous meetings and had dropped only 19 games on her way to the final.

y me: This is quite hard to wrap one's hand around. . . .
I believe your sister hasn't really given full details of what really happened
because she not turning in her hard copy does not warrant her not getting marked at all
The least would be she handing in her hand copy and her marks reduced to 40% or resitting that module in early August if she does not pass
The case of not marking at all seems surreal to me
So its either she has used up her resit and failed that way she would have to resit the module for another semester

BTW, what school is it?
My dear, the rules in all schs differs. Like u rightly said, in my sch late submission means they won't mark you over 100. Also, the sch authority believes all these minor rules are part of the training when you get into the industry. The white man pays attention to the smallest detail unlike in our 9ja system. They hardly accept "I forgot"
