Lovenorth:Bros, did you just say hold and prevent? ![]() |
Pray, tell where else? stankezzy: |
King2305:Really? Which school did you go to? Oga, this is a myth passed on to us by our parents. Please don't pass on such false hood to your children. A simple google search with help. This is 2021 not 1980! |
Agoziewin:Gush! Please stay off this thread, not meant for you. Mental health issues can only be treated in one place and one place alone: Yaba psychiatric hospital, that is if he stays in lagos |
Badguy77:True that!!! Women will always use such things against you when you have issues. |
Virginfeminist:Really? So what about people with cancer, HBP, diabetes...should they also look for their dating app? Mental health issues are just like any other health issues: they can be diagnosed, treated or managed. Its not a death sentence: no need stigmatizing them. Its unfortunate that people who say things like this are actually educated. Madam, if you go for diagnosis, you probably may come out positive for one mental health issue or the other: BPD, PD, ASAD, MADD, BD, PDD, PTSD, MDD etc |
Don't mind them. They don't know that many Nigerians have mental issues but it's not yet diagnosed.[/quote True. But in Nigeria, we only associate mental health with naked people walking the market picking stuff. We are behind! |
Kobojunkie:Again, how old are you? I'm done with you. Go off my mention. Cheers |
Kobojunkie:True! But your question came across as rather insensitive and a bit judgemental. It could have accomplished more if rephrased. Cheers |
Grandmeister:True that. As children we scrap our tongue with chewing stick. |
u no sabi work shey? na teacher dey earn 15k monthly. idiot, entitled fool with pussy. he should rob nahh mumu[/quote How old are you? Grow up! She said she lost a job and may be looking. In the interim, give advice on how to manage the 4k or even on how to mildly approach the husband for a discussion for some sort of increment, without breaking her home considering that the husband himself could have been undone by this economy. Are there still above 35 year olds on ND? Gush!!! |
Kobojunkie:Guy grow up! In this 'recession', anything could have happened. Losing a job, hard time binding a new job, etc Learn to be a lot more sensitive... Don't make fun out of others' misfortune |
Grandmeister:Yes there are? I know a lady while serving, she goes to the bathroom to brush and bath but returns still with smelly mouth. Solutions:1) most people don't brush the tongue till those cartarrh-like substances get eliminated. Pls continue till they come out in large amounts, in fact, till little blood is seen. 2) Change your brush after a month. When the brush gets old, accomplishing (1) above is impossible. |
Fedrick100:Briefs suffocate your man, and the heat can render them less fertile. Lose boxers allow your man to breath. Passage of air to essential for your man's fertility. My lay man's opinion |
DaInferno:Sense of entitlement? For someone with 'special needs'? Sir, do you know the meaning of special needs. Google is your friend. |
tsdarkside:Control? You will buy maintenance parts from them or your Tucano will be grounded in no time |
Eriokanmi:Its a no brainer to bring deliverance to an academic discussion. That's by the way. PROVE: to demonstrate the truth or existence of (something) by evidence or argument. Source: (google) Now tell me, do you think dropping the names of two of your class mates is prove that children of police never prosper? I can also drop two names of my class mates whose parents were police (evil as they come), who are doing extremely well. Bad people live the longest. And since you brought deliverance into this discussion, even the bible allude to this when it said that you should not envy the prosperity of the wicked. So the wicked, police inclusive, will prosper. |
As a form of relaxation, l, like many others read a lot of articles on goal.com and more so after a beautiful football match like Liverpool vs Atletico yesterday. In fact, a brilliant game for me doesn't end after 90 minutes until l have digested an article or two to match. A good example is this well written piece: 'Liverpool silence Someone as Atletico edged out in crash champions league thriller'.-- Niel Jones (still on front page). https://www.goal.com/en/news/liverpool-silence-simeone-atletico-crazy-champions-league/4msrj3bxthyk175qmcwtbhuvy. Another one that comes to mind is a follow-up article to the 4-0 Liverpool come back against Barca. They usually make a good read and l would often pause several times to chuckle and even re-read some lines in admiration. However, l have noticed that the many Nigerian contributors, as intelligent and as witty as they come, have one annoying thing in common-- they write like its a PhD thesis. Such that when ever I'm reading an article and come across a difficult word l need to look up, l simply scroll back up to check the writer's name. Its always Shina Oludare, Solace Chukwu...etc At times, the sentence structure is too complex that l will re-read severally to understand what point they are trying to make. For God's sake, its sports: its entertainment, not academic work. On the flip side read those by Mark Doyle, Neil Jones, Peter Stanton...etc and see the simplicity. They've got a relaxing fill-good nature. Am I the only one to have noticed this? www.goal.com/en/news/liverpool-silence-simeone-atletico-crazy-champions-league/4msrj3bxthyk175qmcwtbhuvy Moderators, kindly move this to front page. A certain Sosa posted this in the comment session: 'I did not watch the match but I have to commend the brilliant article from Neil Jones. Mini blogging is on the rise but nothing still beat an entertaining elaborate article'--Sosa |
seborrhic:Well l may be ignorant, as you chose to put. I am not into medics, however, I know doctors are wary of giving injection for convulsion. When my kid convulsed, the doctors at general hospital were reluctant to inject, the queried repeatedly to be absolutely sure we knew what we were saying. Something that l didn't see in anty nurse's instance. You shot yourself on the foot with the bolded. Isn't that enough reason to deal with a professional who is trained to do the right thing and not buckle under pressure from loved ones. Loved ones in hysteria will always ask you to do this or that: that's where a doctor's training for best practices come in. I believe things would have turned out differently had the woman heed our advice to take the boy to general hospital instead of wasting precious time waiting for anty nurse. Are you in any way suggesting that 'anty nurse' should be preferred as opposed to seeing a qualified doc? |
BreakingNews21:Thank you bros. Ignorance everywhere! |
SmartPolician:Oga stop this your inferiority complex. Google "American Greed". Its a tv program that shows whites bailing with investors' funds. At $50m, Bamise dey learn work! Many of them even buy yatch with people's live saving. Ignorance is Bliss |
HBB1: HBB1:Bros e choke abi? These are the kind of reasoning l have all around me since l took my first jab. My friend in Australia took Pfizer but the wife got Astrazenica. And they say such thing with boldness and finality of tone |
Eriokanmi:False...not proven. This is defeatism, like "leaving it in the hands of God." Superstition. |
Iyaebe:Superstition... Not proven true |
Just last Sunday, a neighborhood lost a grandson to quack nurse. The boy had convulsion apparently due to unattended high fiver, hadn't eaten nada. Aunty Nurse arrived and gave injection on an empty stomach and the boy died in less than 10 mins. |
Officialgarri:So full time house wife contributes nothings? Do you know how much day care pays in Australia/Canada/USA? Taking care of children, cooking and house cleaning is more stressful than most jobs men do and l am a man. Disabuse your mind! |
Fiction or real, you are a good writer. [/quote Agree |
Firstorderwizard:Same here. I know a deplomat serving in one of our embassy in a francophones west African country whose wife 10/10 beauty wise with enough front and back but can't read nor write. She manages to speak though. |
Covidodo:Please desist from making comments like this. It would appear that you are making fun of people with dyslexia even when unintended. Remember they are just humans like us who happen to have a medical condition. It comes across as insensitive. |
