Sorry for your loss. It must be painful experiencing such a loss while watching your other pet slowly slip away. I'm not a dog whisperer of any sorts, however, it appears the incident made your pet slip into depression (yea it's a thing). I saw this online sometime ago and thought you might find it helpful,.Though not all the recommendations are readily applicable here but you could find a few tips useful. Two Primary Reasons Dogs get Depressed: 1.Your depressed dog may be feeling down because he is physically unwell. Many medical conditions ranging from an upset tummy to cancer will make him feel this way. Before you start to treat his mind, make sure there is nothing wrong with his body by taking him along to your veterinarian for an examination. 2. If there has been a major change in the household, your dog may show changes in his behavior that look like he is depressed. This is particularly the case if his canine companion or a much loved family member passes away. In a sense, dog depression associated with grieving is a normal response, but it can go on for some time. - See more at: http://www.dogtemperament.com/dog-depression/ |

uboma:Seconded. |
oglalasioux:Haba! ...It's birth certificate was in its possession at the time of death ![]() |
Free consultations....Brilliant! ![]() |
Bizzyliss:That was just part of our conversation...the puppies actually cost between $600-$800. uchpanila:Its simple, people have different sources, which result in varied prices... you cannot expect a wholesaler and retailer to sell a product at the same price.... Point is...who you buy from and at what price is entirely up to you...that's how a market works. |
For those of us here who know Yana Ukladnikova...here's her landing cost for exporting a Caucasian puppy to Nigeria (Below). Personally, I think Bobby is at liberty to fix any price he deems fit, the onus is on the potential buyer to accept that price or not. NB my original message to her Yana (below) was translated to russian, however, when I translated back to english, my message became a bit distorted, hence, the inappropriate tenses.

@Olumig...that is one kick ass Cane Corso you got....Kudos ![]() |
Hi...i'm back again... My 9week old Caucasian (Zeus) has finally arrived yesterday and my GSD (Bruno) just wont stop trying to attack Zeus.I had actually read plenty things online about introducing a new dog and getting the dogs to "get along"..none is working so far...Bruno's back hairs stand and he viciously attacks.... While Zeus completely ignores him. Ive never seen Bruno this wild before and it took alot of patience and firm commands to snap him out of his trance.I just started early this morning and seriously doubt i can make progress with the level of aggression im seeing from Bruno. Except I can get some tips that actually work here...I'm definitely going to need someone to help me fix this. The funny thing is another male CO will be on the way very soon...Any tips or referalls will be highly appreciated. I should add that Bruno is not usually dog aggressive...he's only known to be aggressive to strangers and even when that happens it's easy to get him under control.

andysnoopy:That's serious... Hope the girl wasn't seriously hurt.I think you might have to let the dog go before you get some serious liability on your hands. BTW it's possible to get it under control through training and socialisation... If u have the time required to achieve that. |
You will need to state what your monthly budget is..."high cost" is relative. |
bsquaredkennels:Bsquared that is a good looking CO...Please, I think you should start watermarking your pics before "they" OLX it. |
loveson200:This is the true definition of a guard dog.You put it aptly by saying quite a number of the caucs sold in puppy mills here are mutts.Personally I'm already talking to a reputable breeder in Jos.My GSD is a fantastic companion but it is what it is...Caucs rock. |
Lol...will do so soon ![]() |
Thought to spare you gory details...I wonder how many breeds can handle three full grown men? |
Personally, I opted for Bones and Raw Food(BARF) diet..it's done wonders for my GSD...plus you are absolutely sure of the nutritional content of your dog's feed. The challenge with most of the imported kibble feeds is that they are made from low end byproducts. Quality kibble feed are made from protein sources fit for human consumption. My GSD(Bruno) is barely 5months plus, yet my Vet still finds it hard to believe... despite the fact that he has been on retainership since we got Bruno from Prodegee at 6 weeks. https://www.nairaland.com/2653992/im-out-ready-buy-straight |
A neighbour of mine was almost robbed few weeks back...the poor guys jumped out faster then they jumped in...now that's a real guard dog in my books...Caucs rock..period! |
jeff1607:Spot on! |
I am now officially Shadow's fan... I guess this is what the Pet section should be about afterall... Bruno's dairy Loading.. |
