You lie.an equal number of pdp members have joined apc also.I don't know why you anti tinubu fans exaggerate things.when they defect to apc,you will be quiet.it is only in katsina and Adamawa that apc have lost more members
I didn't mean the PDP are not losing members nah, I am only talking about the current situation in Jigawa not across the North or the federation. Beside, somebody who resides in Jigawa state has once talked about the poor performance of the governor.

Again, I am not against anybody. I only comment base on the issue at hand (the Topic).

I don't belong to any party. Tinubu is not my enemy. I am not against him and I will never go against him. I have nothing against all the aspirants.

Just calm down. My argument may go against any candidate is trust me.

The kind of defection that is happening in Jigawa now is worrisome! They are moving to one party system in that state. No NNPP, No LP, No AA and the APC is losing it. Is the incubent governor not doing well?

Will they vote for Atiku or Tinubu or Kwakwaso or Obi as their presidential candidate? Only time will tell.

You can't have a Fulanis succeed another Fulani as president. It's dangerous.

This should be simple to understand.
But you can have a Southerner succeeding another Southerner right. This is multi party system for God sake! If you keep saying this, only one popular party will keep ruling Nigeria till thy kingdom come. Anyway, no party is sure of victory at the moment.

Let's wait till election day.

Assuming it was given to Wike and he wins, don't you know it will look like the south will be ruling for 12 years?

Since we operate a multi party system, this issue will keep coming up.

It is immoral, unfair, unjust for a southwesterner to succeed Buhari too!
Politics › Re: Thousands Of Pdp,adc Members In Oyo Decamp To Apc by rolams(m): 2:13pm On Dec 31, 2022
garfield1:
Members of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), African Democratic Congress (ADC), and Accord members switched to the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Oyo State on Thursday.

The defectors were received into APC at the open ground of Methodist Primary School in Apaara, Oyo town by the party’s candidate for Oyo Central Senatorial District, Dr. Yunus Akintunde, the House of Representatives candidate for Afijio/Atiba/Oyo East/Oyo West, Prince Akeem Adeyemi and Hon. Kazeem Arole.

The PDP defectors were led by the party’s Vice-Chairman in Oyo West Local Government Area, Alhaji Mumini Azeez, and Mr. Wumi Oladeji, while other party members were led by their leaders.

Other defectors are – Alhaja Ejide Saka (ADC), Mrs. Olawumi Kola (PDP), Mr. Nurudeen Abule (Accord), Mrs. Olaide Akande (ADP), Pastor Sulola Taiwo (Accord), Mrs. Eniola Oyelere (Accord) and Mr. Mustapha Sakiru.

The APC Publicity Secretary in the state, Olawale Sadare, who confirmed the development in a statement, described the defection as a serious depletion” in the ranks of the affected political parties in the state.

He added that development was a sign of APC’s readiness to defeat all other parties in the 2023 general elections.

sorry to tell you this, you don't Know anything in Lagos politics, tinubu doesn't have problem with ambode, it was the party leaders that had problems with ambode. Had it been tinubu have problem with ambode, he doesn't need to wait for an election to remove him, Ambode would have been impeached by the state house of assembly
Hahaha! You are very funny. Is that how they removed governor? No. Are you aware when the Northern governors went and prostrated for Tinubu on behalf of Ambode?

Ok, if you claim Tinubu innocence here,
What about the Fashola's issue?

This is Lagos, my father was a strong top politician here before he died some years back. There is nothing you need to tell me. 5 of my relatives have won elections in Lagos state. But I am not interested in the dirty game due to what I have seen. I only choose candidates not party.

Bro. Just let's forget about Tinubu Lagos stuff abeg. I don't like to speak against any candidate. I only enjoy analyzing political issues base on facts.

Stay blessed, one love!

you think say you fit jonze me, I stayed in Lagos for more than 20 years before I relocated to kano, I had my nursery, primary and secondary in Lagos. you can't compare Lagos of 1999 to Lagos of today. In terms of development you can't compare Lagos to another state.
I am a Lagosian, both parents are Lagosian, both grand parents are from Lagos. My parents and I are born in Lagos. I attended both primary, secondary and tertiary institutions (for B.sc and others) in Lagos.

Look, I am not a politician, I will only tell you the truth. I am not saying this to demarket to him.

Tell me just one flyover that Tinubu constructed in Lagos during his tenure as a governor. Fashola did excellently well in his first tenure but it didn't go well with Tinubu that he nearly denied him the second term ticket. It took the intervention of Alhaja before Fashola, a brilliant super performer could be given a returning ticket.

Ambode came onboard and overshadowed Fashola's performance. This same man denied him the ticket to return as a governor. At this time, Alhaja was no more.

All these happened just because he wants a little fraction of his party to keep embezzling and looting Lagos treasuries at the expense of huge numbers of Lagos residents.
Politics › Re: G-5 Govs: ‘i’m Elephant, I Can’t Be Taken By Surprise,’ Says Atiku by rolams(m): 7:17pm On Dec 30, 2022
lawyer:
There is a lot of dislike for Atiku which is quite understandable but everyone is ignoring the fact that it was PDP as a whole that chose Atiku to be its flag bearer. They didn't choose Anyim, Udom, Fayose, Dele Momodu, or Wike as their Flag bearer but Atiku. Many delegates in the South-South and South-East voted for Atiku rather than their kinsmen despite the heavy bribery and dollar rain thrown around by each southern candidate to vote for them. At the end of the day, the party chose to pick Atiku. Even Wike said he would work with whoever the flag bearer ends up with but all this G-5 nonsense by these governors is uncalled for.

If they hated Atiku so much, why not leave the party? Why stay in the party and continue with anti-party activities? Many people would be happy with what is going on in PDP but at the end of the day, if APC wins irrespective of whether you are an Obi-dient or Atikulate, the South-South and South-East loses because Tinubu is a maverick politician and power would never shift to either Labour or PDP in 16 years. If Obi loses the election, many of Obi supporters would abandon Labour and realise that only Pdp can give them an Igbo President.

If the G5 continues to destroy the party from within, what are the chances of an Igbo president in 2027 if Obi does not win now? Politics should not be played with emotions but with raw facts and intelligence. Atiku is right to ignore these people and campaign on his own without them. Whether they support him or not, it's only God that creates leaders, not Men. Nobody knows who would win but those playing God under the guise of G5 to engage in anti-party activities would be humbled in the end.

Finally, be afraid of a Man that does not speak but is working underground. Almost everyone has underrated Atiku's chances. Atiku is too experienced in this game to be fazed by all these things. When we are getting close to the election I expect Atiku to use his last card which are the Northern clerics, Imans, Emirs, Miyetti Allah, and Northern Elders Forum to close ranks for their son including the registered underage voters, the IDPs in the Northern, the Tawakalitus, Poor people in the North, the imported mercenaries from Niger and Mali and finally The North's quest to always hold onto power irrespective of who is sitting on that chair. Hate or like this method, he wants to win and would do everything to win. He knows he holds the aces based on the numbers of the voting population in the North and every Obi-dient or Batist should be silently worried.

Underate Atiku at your own peril. 30 years of playing this deadly Nigerian Chess game quietly no be yam ooo!
You understand the Nigerian politics very well.

But no conclusion should be made at the moment.

Elephant without any personal political victory since 1960.

By next year. You shall be barnish to Dubai permanently.
You do not follow history here.

Atiku won the Guber election in Adamawa formally Gongola state before he was picked as the vice presidential candidate. If he was not strong, he wouldn't have been picked.

None the less, the 2023 election will be a great battle between two super powerful politicians. Bola Tinubu and Atiku Abubakar.

If the Northerners decided to apply fairness and make their choices with no bias (ethnicity), Tinubu will win provided they vote along the party line and disregard the current situation of the country. But if they decide to apply ethnicity and consider the economic situation of the country, they will choose Atiku.

Another factor that may undermine Tinubu victory is the effect of the G5. If they decide to choose Tinubu, the Northerners will work for Atiku. This is what I have seen in Atiku's comment on the issue and the attitude of the Northerners.

I have never for once seen kwankwanso and his NNPP as part of the race. His followers are beginning to see him as an unserious element. A jester! Hence everyone is taking their destinies in their own hands. Kwankwanso can't get anything significant outside Kano State. I think he's just contesting for Kano State governorship by proxy.
Kwakwaso is only there to fill the presidential slot of the NNPP. His intention is to win Kano Guber for Abba Yusuf.
