Mariangeles: You'll love to be that kind of a husband wouldn't you? A man his wife does not depend on for anything. Answer honestly: how would you feel as a man if your wife does not need you for anything? I'm not the type of man who wants his woman not to depend on him for anything, and I'm sure nobone's husband isn't the type either. But u see that woman up there, that is the type of woman any man will love to have by his side whether he is a billionaire or counting coins, not because he needs to leech on her but because he knows she can hold her own. Let me borrow a few words from your bf LordKO, nobone is the perfect example of a conscientious, altruistic, selfless, and fair-minded woman. |

Lmao I'm not thinking that far. I just don't like the idea of a divorce plus sidecics are cheaper and less messy as long as you play it right |

nobone: Hubby is into biz, while I did a bank job. I pay the nanny monthly. 90% of times, i paid the kids school fees before hubby would even know.I make sure I stock the house with toiletries and some groceries every month. I buy clothes for my kids, when I see their uniforms/ school bags, shoes and food flasks/lunch bags aren't good enough, I change them straight without looking back. I buy my clothes. Sometimes hubby does. As I do all these, I wasn't ever compelled. I wasn't either asked to. Out of my church mind I do these even more. On Hubby's side, he stocks the house with foodstuffs every time. He doesn't give me money as most times I don't need it. I have access to all his accounts and most times we run his little business together. When I lost my job, I didn't have need for a nanny again, I paid her off cos she was a nice lady. Hubby took every responsibility 100%, but I still feel bad cos I don't want the biz money to run down. As for your question, it depends on understanding. Be sincere to each other and in that way, you won't mind who pays what.
Meanwhile, I'm an applicant o! I can do any genuine job. Wow. Ybaby how are you this morning |

SpicyMimi: I met him while shopping for atarodo (red pepper) at our local market lol he was a bachelor, just got into the state mins ago, then bumped into him. He is an extreme introvert like myself.
It took me the Grace of God to say " Hey I know you" lol apparently we attended same Higher institution, but he was 2 years ahead. I was able to recognize him because he was the former Mr BAM then. Lol
Anyways, it was all planned by God...i prayed to God so much to meet my God ordained husband that year and that exact month using a vow, also promised to pay another vow at the beginning of next month if I can meet him that very month, and just towards the end of that month as I was about giving up, but the God of 11th hour, the God that answereth by fire, the Only True God brought him into my life. God answered me...i am still amazed!!! Like God really really cares that much for me. On top husband?

MFerrara: If the man is already rich and even just decent looking, he'll have such a big pool to choose from that any entitled, poor chick is not gonna make the cut. Sorry but choosing works both ways - if a woman is attracted to me just due to my bank account, why in HELL would I want to have anything to do with her? On top of it, if I'm rich enough that she's interested in me, I'm rich enough to afford the most beautiful women around without the need to tie myself to any of them. Average looking women just don't cut it when there's money. |

There was a 34 year old man insisting on his thread that he must marry a woman not older than 26 years. See wetin a 26 year old don dey do?
OP, if all you've shared is the truth and people already know their lifestyle back home, stop stressing and move on with your life. Leave her daughter alone with her, taking her in, will be you courting more problems into your life. Take the child in, only if mother and grandmother die.
Why does it matter to you so much, that the village head knows your side of the story? Please listen to your mum Completely unnecessary. Anyone can hoe, even those over 30 can do same @op, all I can say is, like mother like daughter |

descartes400: When I read that part...I felt angry! The man's right to find out if the child is biologically his must be his prerogative...the cheating woman has no right to negate that. She doesn't have a right to refuse and it can be done without her consent but results will not be admissible in a court assuming it's an issue of child support or inheritance. Only court ordered DNA test is valid for legal proceedings. But for peace of mind, men should do it on their own and satisfy their curiosity. Very easy |

pmoye: Several open questions remain, many of which will not be answered unless the country and different states evolve laws to manage this grown explosion. Such laws should consider managing the need for the woman's consent with the man's right to find out if the child is biologically his. And these have to be balanced against the interest of the child. A better and more practical way to achieve this balance is to incorporate paternity and maternity testing as a compulsory part of hospital delivery services.
In other words, right at birth samples should be taken from both parents and the child and paternity and maternity testing performed. This has the benefit of drastically reducing the twin evil of child swap and paternity fraud. Secondary benefits include the fact that the sense of loss felt by the husband/boyfriend will be low compared to when he has spent his life getting psychologically attached to and raising another's kid. This should help the society in managing men with latent criminal insanity. With maternity/paternity testing becoming basic part of postnatal care, more women will be forced to reveal in some way the identity of the father even before delivery. In fact, more of them out of the fear of impending shame may voluntarily choose to end the scam of a relationship with their visible partner. Perfect solution there, but until then, niggas better keep doing paternity tests for their peace of mind. And you don't need her consent or it becomes a court case if she resists, then a judge will order it. |

efosky1246: I keep saying it that most dysfunctional marriages, not all(before they come for my head) is usually the fault of the man. From a surface point of view, it might seem like it's the woman. But most times. The woman is reacting to the deficiencies in the man.
When you treat a normal, healthy woman right and act like a leader, set the tone in the relationship. Not just shouting "I am the man" up and down. There is no how she would not submit and respect you. Men need to be held more accountable. efosky1246: I really don't know any Nigerian man that wants to treat his wife like a doormat. or control her like a bull. most men just want to lead, albeit with love and then respected and cared for in return. |
