Nigerian women too need to grow a backbone and say F you to society and culture. It’s very pathetic seeing my smart and successful colleagues scrambling to settle for any man when they hit 35+, dumbing themselves down just to bear “Mrs” There’s only so much you can blame society on, we’re the society. What about married women that shame single ladies? Married women shaming divorced women? Nigerian women are the ones upholding patriarchy.
