help me with some names. all you witty people out there. this is for my work place managazine. thanks in advance. Name that newsletter! The move to Transportation in April means a new era for all of us, and unfortunately that means One Team and Points (Rail’s monthly newsletter) will be no more. We’ll be releasing a new newsletter, with a fresh new look, to coincide with the launch of Transportation, and we’d like you to name it. What are we looking for? We’re after a short and snappy title that reflects the whole of the Transportation division and that will stand the test of time. Think about what Transportation means to you. Perhaps it’s something to do with movement or speed, or maybe you feel Transportation is more about delivering excellence or working together as a single team? Puns and alliteration are most definitely welcome! We’re not looking for: · Anything too long – try and stick to a maximum of two words. The shorter the better! · Titles already taken by trade magazines. Bear in mind that potentially obvious titles like Transport Times and Local Transport Today already exist! · Suggestions relating to specific services – the new newsletter should represent the breadth and depth of our business, so suggestions like The Signal or Wayfinder won’t make the cut. Enter today! All you need to do is send your suggestions to handtoneteam@atkinsglobal.com by Friday 20 February. We’ll pick a shortlist and then open it up to a public vote the following week. The winning name will be revealed on 1 April when you receive the first issue in your inbox. So what’s in a name? Get your suggestions in by 20 February and you could win a goody bag and a £50 Amazon voucher (or equivalent for entries outside the UK). Good luck! |

I had to make a thread about this. Consciousness changed my life. It´s just a whole new state of mind feeling for me. It´s like I see the world clearer and I feel better about myself but at times I feel alone like my generation is lost in the matrix but every day I see other people are waking up. So shout out to the brothers and sisters on the forum that are conscious. Can anyone relate to the bolded?

floriana: Its getting interesting. Billyonaire: Sahara Reporters has wished our First Lady more than 7 different sicknesses and all of them, FROM RELIABLE SOURCES....lol ![]() |
Thanks a lot obowunmi: Room702: sooo on point. Very on point. Seems like you met with transformation and you have forgiven your father. Don't repeat his mistakes. Move on. |
meanwhile, after starting this post i have called my dad and told him how i really felt and he explained a lot of stuff to me. this also lifted a heavy weight off my shoulders. he explained his point of view and i kind of understand him and his actions. basically, you can blame everybody for your problems in life and you might be right but you can't change that. what you can change is how you react to that problem and what power you give other people's actions and thoughts over you. instead of getting angry at anybody or everybody just change that "angry" energy towards other people to a positive energy to benefit you. |
Ujujoan: Too much oyinbo film dey worry you!madam! this has nothing to do with oyinbo film. |
don't get me wrong, i grew up an averagely Nigerian child too. like, we are suppose to be in bed at 9pm and always do our home work on time but He was just stern and too strict. i wish he had taught me how to fight, ride a bike, played sports like football, table tennis/that sort of stuff... when i left home and started socialising i realise I was way too quiet. should have spoke up more about things that bothered me instead of internalizing it, that turned me into a very angry person for a while |
for me, My dad never taught me a skill. Everything I know I had to seek it out for myself. This has somehow affected my psyche and i sometimes find myself blaming him for some of my problems and life difficulties. i know it's not fair but every time i remember my childhood it seems like he just didn't care. |
its not easy anywhere but from the News coming from family and friends in Nigeria it seems the country is spiraling downwards. We blame the government but its really the people that need to act fast. God help us. |
That otedola guy stole ordinary naija people's money to become billionaire on forbes list. He's not a business man, he's a crook and he should be put UNDER the jail. That farouk dude is an id1ot and how did such an id1ot get that post? We(Nigerians) are doomed if these are the kind of people we choose to lead us. As long as these crook billionaire and corrupt leaders with too much thirst for free money are around we are in trouble. |
he will definitely win the brits awards. he's signed to mercury records |
shymmex: Slavery, colonization, and b1tchazzness.spot on! |
this is a slap on the wrist by the FA. he has been doing stupid things on the pitch and tweeting for attention. he wont dare try this kinda nonsense off the pitch because he knows he will most definitely get beat up or stabbed with the quickness. soon and i mean Very soon he will meet a guy that will give him a good smacking and then video tape it for youtube to humiliate him, that's the only thing that will calm him down for good because the FA will not severely punish the bastard. |
smh @ this crazy lady. she just set black people back another 20yrs. |
congrats to him. the man has done wonders this season |
what a shame. |
coogar: and we should blame that on institutionalised racism?what I'm saying is, we should support each other more just like the Asians and the white people. institutionalized racism isn't going anywhere in the UK we all know that |
Gbawe and others like him/her leaving comment only see things from one side and has no idea what is really going on in the UK. the UK is institutionally racist and the majority of Nigerians who migrated to the UK within the last 20yrs are affected by this. Generally speaking, the Asians are also affected by racism when it comes to getting jobs etc but they have alternatives like, their own businesses to build their community and provide for themselves and they support each other. the Africans/black (especially Nigerians) on the other hand have very little entrepreneurship skills and the worst part is we don't even support each other. |
THIS MAN SPEAKS THE TRUTH!!! every African politician or anybody that wants to go into politics in Africa needs to follow this man's instructions. we need to take things back to the old ways of doing things. the way that works!!! <object width="560" height="315"><param name="movie" value=" https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_2O6qdMGRc4?version=3&hl=en_US&rel=0"> |
Nigeria are standing up for itself. i love this. long live |
this man does not surprise me anymore. I'm in serious doubt if he is intelligent enough to be leading. |
I'm impressed that they care so much and managed to convince him enough to come down. usually people will be like "f-uck him, let him die if he wants to die" |
Funkymallam:i was gonna say this. then again, the british govt might be retaliating because of the hostage rescue situation that went all wrong. |
its bad they got killed but seriously if there is danger somewhere and people are being killed senselessly, its common sense to me not to go there. |
shake my head for this guy. he's a disgrace |
BinghiNya:lmao |
Nigeria does not retaliate when other countries do dumb stuff to us. i have always wondered why. here in the UK, british people don't take anything lightly at all, they are quick to fire back even when tbey are wrong. i kind of support this new move by Nigeria. |
as long as the US is not bringing ammunition and bombs over here then the help is welcome |
doctokwus:what you complained about can't be fixed over night, it takes time. everybody already know where the shoe pinches and the government is working hard to fix things. support of any kind is needed from you and i |
