faakay:

Hello folks

Donate to the poor and needy out there

A lot of children are dying out there. Instead of giving your 10% tithe to Pastors and Imams [false prophets & daylight robbery] using the bible and qua-ran to preach false in order to collect funds from them and enjoy their own lives.

Give it to beggars on the street, Charity Foundations etc.

God only wants your burnt offering, domestic animals that all.

Do not sell the truth but they are selling theirs, as you can see you will begin to know them gradually by yourself

What I don't understand is this,' it ok to fornicate, it's fine to be adulterous, it's permissive to be a bigamist but to be gay is sin. Who determines what?

Personally, I think if you'd class gay as an issue, then all others should as well.

We all have a right to be what we choose to be.

Some people mask peadophilia with different mask including religion, and it's perfectly ok to turn a blind eye?

I'm personally tired of this pick and choose kind of justice. I wish the nation all the best.

i agree with what your point. bad is bad and homosexuality is one of the bad things we need to get rid of in Nigeria

SMH

I hope you know a road on a bridge is different from the entire bridge

if the bridge aka pillars is 50 %
and the road on the bridge is 50 %

and the road is 50% of the 50 % which is 25 %

the thus we can say 50 + 25 = 75 %

if so, you can estimate it to be 80 % can't you ?

LWKMD!!! which kind mathematics be this

I thought some guys are arguing against:

1. Librelization of the downstream oil sector
2. Privatization of the Power Sector.

Look at competition among just 4 players in the telecoms sector and consumers are enjoying

Look closely at what is happening in the aviation sector, with good plans, you can fly anywhere in Nigeria with less than 10,000 ( I will rather take that that the most expensive and convenient Night Bus)

please tell them

How did the forgein invaders think "democracy" is going to slove the deep rooted problem they have created in libya What they have done is put libyan people against themseleves which would lead to more conflicts. Thanks to western/Nato led "regime change" indeed.

Depointer1:

Listening to Pastor Adeboye on CNN, he said he doesn't believe in protest or demonstration but only through prayer. He said people should come to church and ask God to touch the heart of ppl in government. Well, come to think of it, another pastor leading a protest in Ebonyi. "Who's report will you believe" as the gospel song goes.

Pastor Adeboye could be right because he s protecting people of being killed by the trigger happy police. But, I think God doesnt care about us in Nigeria anymore. I av been praying for Nigeria since 30years ago in church but the prayer keep making our corrupt politicians look fat and enriching their pockets.

Kudus to the Church members. I wish the Redeem Church can do the same after the next holy ghost vigil. Walahi, it will be like a 'Dynamite'. It will be too much for the govt to handle but our Men of God dont want anything that will scuffle the tithe and offering.

i cosign everything you just said. i wonder if God still care about us in naija. it seems like God already gave us the solution but we are too dumb sad and greedy to see it
Travel / Re: FG Slashes British Airway's Flights To Nigeria by room702(m): 12:24pm On Nov 03, 2011
Claus:

I will comment on this based on the info I have and hope to be forgiven if I'm missing something here.

The rataliatory move by the Nigerian govt is wrong! The issue Arik had was that they could not get landing slots at Heathrow, one of the busiest airports in the world. Many other airlines face the same issue and work around it by utilising Gatwick, Stansted etc. Arik is not the only airline that has had problems getting slots at Heathrow.

The U.K. govt did not reduce the number of times that Arik (or any other Nigerian airline) can fly into the U.K. The previous agreement of 21 flights for each country still stands. This is a demand and supply issue. Heathrow is heavily oversubscribed, unlike the Lagos and Abuja airports. It will always be much easier for the British carriers to get a slot in Lagos/Abuja, than for a Nigerian carrier to get a slot at Heathrow. Someone rightly gave the example of how Virgin Nigeria used Gatwick, that is one way around it.

It's NOT the British govt's fault and it is not BA's fault; the retaliatory move is very short sighted.

how do you know the bolded info. is true?

i don't think the Govt. will retaliate like that if that is the case.

milehigh06:

see al-Qaeda apologist having seizures cos one of your former leaders has been killed.you were all shouting why wont Obama talk of Syria, newsflash,America recalls ambassador to Syria. that's how it starts and they have already started calling syrias leader out.sure the ongoing effort to flush out RUF from Somalia is also a bad thing in the eyes of you deluded and confused fools.you open your mouths and call obama the white man's stooge, well, only if you get to see the way he is being treated by the white business community/white republicans and a few white democrats then you will open your clouded brains, the business community is basically the reason why the economy is stagnated, they are sirtting on $10 trillion which they have refused to invest in the economy despite the govt bailing them out when they had suckered the people in as many ways as they like, they want Obama out so that they can keep paying lesser taxes than the poor, keep going to countries like india and china to open sweat shops and pay the people of those countries chicken feed,America's problem with the world is a republican one and as long as they rule, they will always treat the world as a dump site for them.As much as you all shout about gadaffi, why were there Libyans all over mende village, Maryland, ikeja cantonment and surulere in the early 90s and late 2000s.and hey they were not doing any meaningful jobs, they were basically beggars.if it was as good as you all were or are still claiming, why did you not move to Libya then?or why did you not move to be near your so-called anointed leader gaddaffy, did his son not claim that they will all die in Libya?why is he offering to give himself up in exchange for details on   people murdered during his father's time?Dont get me wrong,America definitely has her major share with regards to the ills of this world but Libyans killed gaddaffy, not Americans, Libyans cos based on that video online,I see no american there,if he was that good,60% of the country would not have stood against him,the only part of Libya that stood up for him till death was sirte(his birth place)YOU CAN NEVER EVER EVER EVER CLAIM TO LOVE LIBYA MORE THAN LIBYANS and that is a fact,if at least 60% of his nation could go against him,the only show of support he ever had that was on Libyan tv was only in Tripoli, every major city had demonstrations demanding him to step down but we have Nigerians coming here speaking like every single human being was in support of Ghadaffy. Why not face Nigeria's issue right now,we are still having issues with every facet of life in that country but still yet we are more bothered about issues of other countries
It was this same set of people who were having issues with the recent drone killing of 2 American terrorists, well,in the american constitution if you take arms against the state you automatically loose that right to be termed a citizen and hey those complaining about Iraq,Troops will be home by December,he did not start the war in Iraq but he sure as hell is ending it despite every republican calling him all sorts of names for saying he was bringing the troops home,as soon as Gadaffy was killed, every republican started talking of oil and al-qaeda while almost all democrats started calling for an election to be held,Obama is asking for the system to change from depending on oil to that of a green economy but guess what also, every republican is against it,they would rather dig and dig and dig where ever they feel and yet they are already talking of the oil in Libya, like I said,America's issue with the world is a republican based one and as soon as you start taking a look at who actually is taking the decisions that affect different countries, your eyes might be opened

dgr8truth:

You made some salient points. All the posts on the first page is a reflection of the myopic  thinking of most Nigerian. We are more lybians than the lybians themselves. They were the ones that killed Gadaffi, not Americans, They were the ones that started the protest not Americans, They were the ones that were been murdered by Gadaffi not Americans, They were the ones been called rats by Gadaffi not Americans, not even Obama. The lybian protest was inspired that triumph of the Egyptian protest and Tunisian protest. If America has interest in Lybia, na wetin concern you? na your country? Your country wey Jagajaga, wetin you don do about am? Make una leave Obama alone, He has his problem to deal with. Nigerians deal with you problem proactively, not passively, now that you have time and life.
what are you two on about?  we are not entirely sure that the libyans people killed gadaffi and we also know that the west instigated the riot and they even armed the rebels.
the killing of gadaffi and the way it was carried out is very wrong and we are just disappointed that obama made such comment about it.
