With ma two Unclad eyes i have seen someone disappear, i had a serious headache all through the day.

It was about 6 years ago, an armed robber being chased by the police  was caught, he knelt down while the police were

trying to stop the public from burning him, just like air with ma eyes on him he vanished. That was the day i knew

ma legs could overtake bikes.

John Obi Mikel: I Won’t Pay Fine

Chelsea midfielder John Mikel Obi has said he will not pay a fine of $5,000 for reporting late to the Nigeria training camp ahead of a crucial Nations Cup qualifier against Guinea.

The Eagles midfielder explained to MTNFootball in Abuja on Thursday that no official of the team has communicated to him on the said 5,000 Dollars fine for hitting Transcorp Hilton Hotel camp of the Nigeria’s Super Eagles late

Mikel arrived Abuja early morning on Wednesday instead of a Tuesday 12 midnight deadline set by the team. However, the player denied knowledge of the sanction against him.

“I don’t know anything about that and they haven’t told me I have been fined,” he said. When MTNFootball.com asked him whether he would pay the fine if asked to, Mikel replied, “No, no I don’t think so because I did not do anything wrong. I have reported to the camp and I have very, very genuine reason.

“If the manager (Samson Siasia) would tell Nigerians my reason, anyone in that situation will reason with me.”  Mikel is believed to have gone to Jos, northcentral Nigeria, to visit his father, who was recently freed by the police from a gang of kidnappers.

Rich white american girls who are beautiful could never do anything bad.

Casey Anthony gets off with NO CHARGES, not even child endangerment for not telling the authorities her child was missing for over 30 days.

They can't prove she did it with absolute certainty, so they have to let her go, its how society works.

My heart goes out to the KERCHER family.

i totally agree with this post.
Amanda Knox previously said it was another black guy that killed Meredith but luckily for the guy he had prove that he was elsewhere when the killing took place.  I feel bad for Rudy Guede because i think he was framed

@blackpanda,
My sister or my brother,
Like it or not english is taking it over, followed by spanish and french and that is why some Nigerians are talking about protecting our indigenous languages. A thing that is not threatened does not need protection.

However, I do not hate our languages, but we have not succeeded in exporting them, we are deep into importing other languages as we constantly depend on the west for virtually everything.
I want my children to be relevant in global environment and not in Nigeria alone, and communication is key.

And sorry to rattle you, the culture and tradition you referred are gradually dying.

Let your children be relevant in local environment first so they can export the culture and tradition globally

I plan to just make my time and resources unavailable to Nigerians in general for the sake of inner peace.
I'd also rather not listen to all that "Not everyone is the same" jazz because I know that already.

I think this woman's point of view very closely mimics mine:
http://www.ryze.com/posttopic.php?topicid=643617&confid=1807

People use people. not just Nigerians. these white people are very good at using people too, when things don't go their way they start to point fingers.

meanwhile, i totally agree with the "call me uncle/auntie" and the "hiding behind the religion" thing Nigerians us to scam their own people. its a big shame

What are you Nigerians scared of. . . . keep in mind that I'm an exception.

i really want to start this group, i just hope i get the support because majority of Nigerians are scared to make things happen for themselves. they want others to do it for them while they instigate from afar

This man has repeatedly raised these issues.
There is only one reason Nigeria won't get better, people cannot separate ethnic and religious sentiments from the cold facts available.
People rush to castigate ElRufai(who of course is no saint, he served with OBJ) and completely ignore his message.
It's a pity the next generation is falling for the diversions created by the ruling class once again.
If someone speaks the truth, whichever region he hails from has nothing to do with it, let us run with facts and see visible change in no time. The problem is, we have too many small minds who will rather focus on his origins than on his message.

Lagosboy:

10 things to learn from Japan :

1. THE CALM
Not a single visual of chest-beating or wild grief. Sorrow itself has been elevated.

2. THE DIGNITY
Disciplined queues for water and groceries. Not a rough word or a crude gesture.

3. THE ABILITY
The incredible architects, for instance. Buildings swayed but didn't fall.

4. THE GRACE
People bought only what they needed for the present, so everybody could get something.

5. THE ORDER
No looting in shops. No honking and no overtaking on the roads. Just understanding.

6. THE SACRIFICE
Fifty workers stayed back to pump sea water in the N-reactors. How will they ever be repaid?

7. THE TENDERNESS
Restaurants cut prices. An unguarded ATM is left alone. The strong cared for the weak.

8. THE TRAINING
The old and the children, everyone knew exactly what to do. And they did just that.

9. THE MEDIA
They showed magnificent restraint in the bulletins. No silly reporters. Only calm reportage.

10. THE CONSCIENCE
When the power went off in a store, people put things back on the shelves and left quietly.

Strength of one's character is reflected in one's behaviour at the crucial moment.

Character of people is what makes the character of a nation. This is something that we should reflect upon and think about

How  did you know all these things

it was on the news that they didn't allow foreign media into certain places

E-love exsits but personally i prefer to see the person face to face to really believe it's real. i wont disclose myself fully to somebody on the internet and i do not expect them to do thesame.  i feel i have to see the person face to face and also see their reactions cos e-love can be misleading. people pretend alot on the internet.

mistaken to be on this earth but a big mistake to be in Nigeria.

Violence is not the way, no matter what.

Actually, we Nigerians should examine ourselves and repent from all the bad things we do to ourselves. We deserve what we get and thus should not refrain from taking responsibilities for our actions. Blaming OBJ and others is a was of trying to externalize our shortcomings and give personalities to these faults. Whether we like it or not, OBJ is still a product of our putrid society. There is no way I know of in this universe that each one of us can avoid taking responsibility for our actions and the earlier we start the better.

Will it be far-fetched if I say that every Nairalander knows somebody who is selfish, corrupt, and without love for his neighbor? Let us instead check ourselves and having mastered ourselves seek to help others, and eventually apply ostracism if that does not work. Yes, ostracism to our fathers, mothers, brothers, sisters, children, uncles, aunties, nieces, in-laws, cousins, associates, colleagues, friends, and the likes, for the sake of Nigeria and Nigerians.

He who is free of sin should cast the first stone!
