I have been following this thread and I'm new to the process. I want to prep for an Masters in CAN, uni of Manitoba, specifically. I have no idea how to start the process.

I've done a bit of research on the school from mastersportal but I can't seem to find the way to go.

Gurus in the house, please help.

Good morning. Have you tried checking other schools? Aside from manitoba. May be the ones with low tuition but still offer your course of choice

Well you cant apply for nse if IRCC doesn't request for it, and the way you can go about it is after you've submitted your study permit application then they'd send a request for it .

you're wrong. You can send your ielts and Mybankstatement ticket when you're applying so as to not wait for the request

No I didn't sign any representative form. The agent definitely acted on my behalf do you know what I even find funny the most, its the fact that his telling me that he wants to try Cyprus so that I can go before April and I don't like Cyprus, I told him No so he's saying that he's done with my application that he would refund all my money that I should go and find another agent. After messing up my Application, he's now telling me this.... I'm so pissed rn

That agent dey mad. Sha, God dey. Some of this agents are rubbish. Same way one agent told me that if I go for pgd I won't get visa and if I apply for masters I wont get and he wants me to go for uk cause he would get his cut.

Oh this is sad Krissy am so sorry for this. The first letter was a PROCEDURAL FAIRNESS LETTER which they normally send at first to explain anything they are not clear about or if they have seen any misrepresentation you will be given a chance to explain with back up proofs and this is for 10days in which after 10days if they don't hear from you they will go ahead with the decision and the decision is always most likely a ban for 5years which is stated in the 2nd letter. If you can afford an immigration Lawyer to help you file this case just explain everything as it is provide all the documents you used in the application I think they would be able to do it but if you cannot do this I think you have to wait for the 5years to elapse before you can reapply normally
P.S: some agents are bad while some are Good if you have to use them at all get all the documents yourself don't allow them get any documents for you they don't have it all they say is lies to take your money they are into business remember!!!!. The day you will submit the application both of you can sit down and do it together please and Please and if possible avoid them totally this thread is enough to get information and you do researches too CANADA [/b]has also posted all the guidelines on their website to do all these things yourself it's not all countries that do this, everything concerning immigration is on Canada's website well explained there!!!
P.S if that agent had followed up and checked the portal when they sent the [b]PFL it wouldn't have resulted to this they don't even have the luxury time to check portals for updates that's how bad it is cuz they need to make money from other candidates!!! .I have someone close to me to that's into this issue his was bank statement they didn't check the PFL only to find out from his GCMS NOTES that he had been banned like 6months back and they didn't tell him or checked!!!
GET YOUR DOCUMENTS YOURSELF IF YOU HAVE TO USE THEM!!!

Honestly my advice to everyone here. Dont use agent, I know how terrible this agents are, the goods one are hard to find. If you apply on your own you'd be curious and you'd also know when you have an ema and you'd take it very serious. Agents won't take your application seriously as you'd take it. So better run from any so called agents.

After sending mails to Lagos email yesterday I got a PPR few hours from Lagos immigration.

Please is it compulsory I submit to Lagos vfs or I can submit to Abj please ?

Abuja timeline is good and fast.

Dropped my passport off at UPS office in Lagos on the 16th February.

Received counterfoil on the 20th February

Passport delivered to me today 26th February.

The wait is finally over. Abeg LOI is yet to drop though. What do I need to do about that.

Can I upload the soft copy of the passport directly into the online application? Secondly, filling the forms, can I fill them directly online without necessarily printing them out to sign and scan ? Gurus in the house kindly help a friend.

1. Yes or you can go take passport picture and tel them to send the soft copy or you can use your phone. 2. You'd use Adobe reader to fill it.

you said for your financial you submitted a joint account. Did you explain that?

Ok but if that is the case why did they state that the reason for my refusal is because of the fact that they are not satisfied that I will leave Canada after studies based on purpose of visit, financial status and personal assets

purpose of visit from my experience is that you didn't explain why you want that course and it may have not been in relation with your bsc for that financial thing I dont know. But did you include land documents or so

I applied for a PGD in Human Resources management

I dont think social work and human resources management actually do relate. May be go for something that relates with your bsc. Since you dont have work experience

I have gotten admission already from a school that didn’t require it because I’m a citizen of Nigeria.

But I’m thinking I should add it to my application as a supporting document just incase.

Good day everyone, so I just checked my profile and saw that I’ve been denied the study permit on the basis of the VO not been convinced or whatever that I will return to my country after study. I intend or appealing the case or reapplying depending on what I see after my GCMS notes. Still trying to process the hurt but it is well.
Now my only problem is that I booked for medicals UPfront with Qlife thinking the next stage was going to be medical request. But oh well, so now my confusion is do I still go ahead to do the medicals as my application has been denied or do I ask for a refund from Qlife given the situation on ground.
I’m sincerely confused pls Gurus in the house I will appreciate if you can provide answers. Thank you in anticipation. Never thought I will see myself I this situation
