I used do tell people around me,one of the major problem of Nigeria development is RELIGION.
Everything is not prayer, if development and success of a person or country is based on prayer then Nigeria should be the best country in the world.
Many houses have mosque build inside apart from the general mosques, only few streets in Nigeria are without church YET NIGERIA AS A COUNTRY REMAIN UNDEVELOPED.
Some people have been brainwashed by religion that if you tell them prayer alone can never give success they may even fight you.
( I once told a guy ) I said how many times have he seen Elon Musk in church or mosque yet his rich, he replied " na devil give am money now the guy na illuminati" then I said why can't your God give you money too sebi you're born again
Please don't get me wrong, prayer is good but we should stop mixing things up.
To select elect a leader does not require much prayers, let them present themselves and show/tell Nigerians how they intend to fix this country, physical solutions, great ideas on how to effectively utilize our numerous mineral resources, then we Nigerians will now pray to God to help them achieve their good plans.
Always remember it's WORK AND PRAY NOT PRAY AND WORK.

Hmmmm... I can't remember when last censor was conducted based on religion. One of the problem in Nigeria is we just assume and try to force it on others.. in actual fact majority of ilorin are Muslims not kwarans.

What are we celebrating sef.
Children that don't have access to good FOOD, SHELTER, MEDICAL CENTER, GOOD EDUCATION, SOCIAL AMENITIES, SECURITY...
Despite the billions spend on school feeding ( claimed) where are the impact.
Even most states don't have any activities for today cos no money to steal from the EVent.
Most Children are not happy cos things are HARD for their parents and it's bouncing on them the children.
Most parents have not paid fully last term school fees of their children not to talk of this term. Even parents are scared of taking their children for any gathering cos of bombers and kidnappers.

Abeg when we fix things and make these children happy for real then let celebrate. Not now that kidnappers, ritualist , rapists, religuios bigots see children as soft target and nothing done to the evil people.


Till then parents guard your children, work hard to provide for them and don't put mind in government for anything good. Peace

My own case is a bit different.. in the year 2004 I was staying in a big church compound, my mom, I and 4 small children aged between 3-7. Also an envagelist was staying in the next room opposite us, the house is actually a 4 bedroom flat, we occupied 3 rooms and the man use the remaining one room.
One faithful day my mom travelled on Thursday morning, the youths of my church do have vigil every last Friday of the month and there was this girl that do come to assist my mom at times. So after the vigil that day she came to our apartment to sleep till day break, when she woke up she clean the house and left. Getting to school on Monday the girl came to me crying that the evangelist told her parents that he saw us nacking . After school I went home and told my mom what the girl said ( me knowing fully nothing like that happened ).
Brethren I was dumbfounded when my mom confront the man and he claimed yes he saw us, he even carried bible to swear. I was confused like abi I did it I don't know ni, my mom was like my boy tell me the truth did you do it cos you can see the man swearing with bible. I insisted that nothing like that happened. Then my mom told the man she will take the matter to the authorities.

Then the man kneel down and said he is sorry he never saw us only thought I was with her when he returned home in the morning and couldn't find anyone around except me. Girl wey don comot our house since around 6am fa. Till we leave that house me and the man no gree at all. Proper investigation needs to be carried out all the time before conclusion.
