Arabs do have a lower IQ than Caucasians. Qatar and the UAE are rich because Qatar produces more natural gas than Nigeria with a population of just over 2 million people, and the UAE produces far more crude oil than Nigeria with a population of just about 9 million people. They don't invent anything. There is no Qatari or UAE citizen winning any Nobel prizes for anything. They also have high expatriate populations. If Qatar and the UAE had no oil, they would probably be as impoverished as Yemen.

And yes, Arabs once contributed a lot to the flowering sciences, mathematics, medicine, astronomy etc. They don't anymore.

My physics textbooks in secondary school, or my engineering textbooks in university had no Arab scientists.

Fact remains Western civilization has driven the world in the last millennium regardless of what Arabs did thousands of years ago.

I'm also not suggesting that these things are immutable traits. They are evolved traits, and to get to the level of Western nations, we have a lot of catching up to do that would take generations.

The Western intellectual tradition is what saw them develop the intellectual curiosity to investigate and innovate and invent, and the culture has been nurtured for several generations over hundreds to thousands of years.

The most educated group in America might be Nigerians. But education doesn't necessarily correlate with IQ though.

Many of Silicon Valley's greatest minds over the past few decades were university dropouts in the US.

Nigerians acquire certificates to boost career prospects and employment opportunities. Two of my sisters did Masters degrees in the UK, and a third one did a Masters in Canada to help them get jobs. They just did it to help them get jobs in those countries, especially as degrees from Nigerian universities aren't valued internationally. This is why Nigerians kill themselves with a mountain of certificates abroad. It is not a true reflection of our level of expertise.

The correlation of race and IQ is about as established as the correlation of race and athleticism. Again, this correlation is what makes Jewish people the most successful ethnicity in every country they find themselves, and black people at the bottom of every country they find themselves.

There are loads of bio-genetic differences between ethnic groups in the world, many of which were isolated from each other for tens of thousands of years. Melanin composition is not the only difference between us. Hell, the homo sapien ancestors of white people even bred with Neanderthals tens of thousands of years ago and our black ancestors didn't. We are similar, and we're all human obviously. That doesn't mean we are the same. I'd say humans are like dogs. All dogs are of the same specie of creature descended from wolf ancestors, but they have been bred over thousands of years by humans to manifest very different physical, mental and emotional traits.
