PoliticsRe: Ghana's Western Togoland Region Declares Sovereignty by Rosskii: 9:16pm On Sep 25, 2020
GreyLaw:
They will handle it perfectly well. Ghana is mostly homogenous. Nigeria's problem is deep sitter tribalism, religious intolerance, and avarice. The Ghanaians will quell the insurrection when they decide to.
We shall see!!

Is it by mouth?

If Nigeria is secretly funding those rebels - and this map suggests it could be - expect an escalation.

Peabrain. Where is South Africa ''kicking out'' anybody? You're basing your foolish claim on the activities of a few hungry thugs marching in Jo'burg?

Grow up.

You will see that Ghana is worse than Nigeria by the time this insurrection reaches its zenith, and the useless Ghanaian army has to call on Nigeria to help them repel the rebels.
PoliticsRe: Ghana's Western Togoland Region Declares Sovereignty by Rosskii: 8:53pm On Sep 25, 2020
I will not be surprised if the NIGERIAN govt is behind this via remote control.

Ghana needs to be taught a lesson.

They have become too arrogant and conceited. Always boasting about how 'peaceful' their country is, 'compared to Nigeria'.

They need this type of destabilization to humble them.

Notice how this has arisen right after their recent harassment of Nigerians and their demolishing of part of the Nigerian embassy in Accra?

Let's see how this pans out.

The Ghanaian army is rated 28th in Africa, even below Burkina Faso.

I'll be surprised if they can handle any type of insurrection.

How sustainable is Abuja's economy without Federal Government Money?

If federal government hypothetically stops pumping in trillions of Naira into Abuja, how sustainable is it?

What is the driver of its economy outside federal government allocation?
How sustainable is Washington DC's economy without federal allocation?

Do you realise Washington is just a civil service city like Abuja?

You see any Americans asking such stupid questions, knowing full well they NEED a functioning capital?

Erm, yes it IS the capital. Which is why many of these stupid, self-hating idiots who call this great country a 'shi.hole' need to be grabbed by their hair and taken round other African countries to see just how good they have it in Nigeria. Useless idiots.

Nobody doubted the eed for trans-Africa railroads, but at what expense given the current austere conditions.

Significant south to north railway disrepair from the eastern flank to Makurdi to Maiduguri after Kano, and you want to use the scare resources to please your tribes men in Niger Republic?
This is no democracy.
Use your head. There are several contracts signed to build our railways across the nation. This is just the newest contract awarded. It doesn't mean construction starts tomorrow or next week there, before the other lines that have been awarded previously, like the East - West coastal line and Port-Harcourt-Maiduguri line etc etc.

But will ethnic hatred let you see things clearly?

Like other LOW IQ Nairalanders here, you have nothing upstairs but ethnic hatred, so the first thing that comes to your head is 'Hausa-Fulani' before basic common sense.

RuudVanNisteroy:
Why Are Nigerians Persecuted All Over The World? Why are we always the ones being targeted for hate around the world.
Err, actually, the premise of your question is FALSE.

It is really among the working classes of these countries that there is some anti-Nigerian sentiment, primarily because of our entrepreneurial spirit which crowds out the tepid commercial proclivities of those communities.

Now, of course they will never admit to this, so they will use the criminal activities perpetrated by a MINORITY of Nigerians in those countries, to paint the entire Nigerian community as 'criminals'.

The old 'give a dog a bad name in order to hang it' routine.

The REALITY is that in EVERY SINGLE ONE of those countries mentioned, the overwhelming majority of Nigerians are contributing honestly, in business, employment, or as students, to those economies.

A vivid example of this is in the United States, where the Nigerian 'ethnicity' is rated the best performing ethnic group in America in terms of higher education, earnings, and positive contributions.

In fact, Nigerians have been a thorn in the flesh of racist groups in the USA, such as the KKK and neo-nazis, as their status as high performers in education and industry - beating immigrant groups like the Chinese, Japanese, French, Norwegian, German, Dutch, English, Italian, Ghanaian, Kenyan, and South African, and stunningly disproving discredited theories of white superiority. Nigerians are regularly hailed by African-Americans, for their contributions to dismantling those demented ideas from public consciousness.

https://www.chron.com/news/article/Data-show-Nigerians-the-most-educated-in-the-U-S-1600808.php

Additionally, many Nigerians have no idea about the level of cultural influence being exerted by Nigeria in most African countries today, leading many in those countries to feel a certain...resentment.

In those countries, Nigerian music leads, as does Nigerian-derived fashion, and Nigerian film.

They go on Netflix, and virtually EVERY single film there from Africa is from Nigeria.

They go on YouTube, and the videos with 100 million+ views are of Nigerians, artistes and entertainers.

They switch on their radio. It is Nigerian music playing.

They switch on their television, it is Nollywood movies playing.

They watch Big Brother.

It will have to be BB Naija.

They turn to sports, and a Nigerian is world heavyweight boxing champion.

They go to school, and books by Nigerian literary giants like Chinua Achebe, Wole Soyinka, and Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie, are Required Reading, which they must all study before they can pass out.

They go the bank, and it is Zenith, or UBA, or Access Bank, or...

I MEAN, who wouldn't be tired of Nigerians in Africa especially?

We've taken over their very existence.

That's why they're unhappy.

Someone please hand them tissue.

Don't mind them. They are quick to slap the criminal tag on the Nigerian majority, but DARE to accuse THEM and THEIR families of being criminals and they would be up in arms, protesting. Selfish, conditioned people with no common sense.

Dumbito, YOU TOO must be a criminal.

Aren't you Nigerian?

Since in your dumb and stupid head, majority of us are criminals and drug dealers and prostitutes, then that applies to your mother, father and siblings too, or at least majority of YOUR family. You cannot be immune from everyone else. What makes you special?

If YOU or your father visits SA or Ghana, I would be right to assume that you and your father are criminals, correct?

Frigging dunce.

Mr man I express with fact not assumptions. Indeed there are bad eggs among us so deal with it. Drug smuggling, sales of fake products and among others are prevalent here in Nigeria.
You lack basic common sense and critical ability. Ok, in all these crimes you've named, how many Nigerians do it, compared to the number of Nigerians who simply go out daily to earn an honest living?

If you had a working brain, you would put that figure at less than 0.1%..

On your street, how many drug dealers live there?

How many people on your street sell fake products for a living?

If you were honest, the number would be ZERO or close to ZERO.

So how the hell can you then imagine that in any given country, the MAJORITY of Nigerians there would be criminals who sell drugs and fake products?

Did they all hold a meeting and decide to flood those countries?

People like you lack basic common sense. By your own senseless calculations and logic, YOU TOO and your entire family, or majority of your family, must comprise CRIMINALS.

This is the same problem most countries complained about us. Instead of been ashamed of the menace perpetuated by our brothers in diaspora, you are here wailing. There are some things they shouldn't get into even if their host country ( citizens) stylishly allow it. The writer's reportage isn't different from what others had complained about Nigerians abroad.
''Others'' have complained. What the fck does that mean?

How does that translate to ''majority of Nigerians are criminals'' in those countries?

If say they were 100,000 Nigerians in India, and just 1,000 are committing crimes, will Nigerians' criminal activities not be in the news every day?

Will ''others'' still not complain about Nigerians?

Will that mean the majority of Nigerians in India are criminals?

Just use your damn brain for once in your life!

This is COMPLETE GARBAGE. You are clearly a victim of anti-Nigerian PROPAGANDA.

To say or imply that the MAJORITY of Nigerians in these countries, are criminals, 'with a bad attitude', is a gross misrepresentation of the situation, and a BARE-FACED LIE.

In SA, Ghana, Kenya, China, India, USA, UK etc, the OVERWHELMING MAJORITY of Nigerians are law-abiding, hardworking business people, employees, or students.

In the United States, Nigerians have been rated the most successful ethnic group in terms of higher education, work, and earnings.

Higher than the Japanese, Chinese, English, Norwegian, French, German, and Dutch immigrants.

France = 1.8 trillion

Germany = 2.1 trillion

South Africa = 125 billion

Nigeria = 35 billion

You are ignorant morons to think we are a 'rich country' by virtue of the oil wealth.

If we had only 5 million people like UAE, then we would be quite rich. But with 200 million people? Nahh.

The oil income is grossly insufficient.

Our Number 1 task is Diversification to raise govt revenues.

How do you explain the lack of curvature as shown in the video above?

Kenyans say you can see Mount Kilimanjaro, Tanzania, fully from Nairobi, a distance of 206 kilometres, which should NOT be possible, with the claimed curvature of the earth. A very simple mathematical calculation shows it should be ....impossible to see more than the top 1/4th of the 5.89 kilometre high mountain from Nairobi.

The idea of a globe/spherical earth spinning through space is a relatively recent Greek creation.

Were our ancestors right?

This video shows pretty clearly....they were.
