Not holding brief for any politicians ,but was Rochas allocation the same as Akpabio/Akwa ibom? Some of you do not think before you comment.

Meaning that Imo states allocation was only big enough for the building of statutes by Rochas.

I have to confess; this city is the most underrated in Nigeria.
This is a city you can compare with the likes of Asaba, Eleme and even some parts of Lagos and Abuja and yet nobody is talking about it.
Op do justice to this thread by giving us more view of Ik, cause I know the place very well and you are not doing enough justice to it.
Guys truth is Ik (Ikot Ekpene) is even competing with the state capital for economic viability and is giving Uyo a very tough competition when it comes to tourism most especially during the festive season due to the fact that things are very cheap and it has more entrepreneurs competing for glory, it makes room for greater development.
This city is top notch for flexing, business, accommodation, education and entrepreneurship.

It had the highly rated Federal government college school back in the 80s, which produced really sound students.

Don't know if the school is still existent now and whither the standards intact?

This could be anywhere in Spain, Portugal, or Seychelles.

Honestly, we don't value what we have in this country..

Forget Ikot-Ekene, Akwa Ibom as a whole is lovely.
From the beautiful landscape to their oil deposits.
From their variety of delicacies to their hospitality and tourism industry.
This state is bae.

The capital city boasts of the best stadium in the country, world class mall, main library e t.c.

My dream City to live in in this declining country. I love AKIBM .

And you forgot to mention us why?

Una don come again with this overrated village. So because of one hotel, we shouldn’t hear word again? All the Akwa-Ibom nairaland media team, una weldone.

You're right bro, we are use to overhyping shits. The picture even use center around one location except the ritman college/hospital. The only think Akpabio did and am so fucking proud is stoping the house boy/girl and gateman syndrome. In terms of development, is that what they see abroad?
We celebrate mediocracy in this country.

Ode....since when did ''stepping foot in the place'' become a criteria for posting images online?

If everyone had to do that before posting images, there would only be two photos online.

Kindly get your miserable self off this thread.
