airsaylongcome:Dude, are you not aware that the first settlers of EVERY continent on Earth were black Africans? You seem totally ignorant. Every single race is descended from original African settlers. |
olyrayy:YES HE IS. ABSOLUTELY HE IS AFRICAN. IF YOU ARE A BLACK MAN, YOU’RE AN AFRICAN. KNOW THAT AND HAVE SENSE. As for those repulsive, demonic, garlic-smelling, cream-coloured maggots the colour of vomit in that rotten place called ‘Spain’, may the wrath of the BLACK GODS who mistakenly created them befall them and DESTROY them forever. Spit. |
dokyOloye:Are you aware that Christians have slaughtered far more people on this Earth than Muslims? It was even a Christian that led the Biafra war against you which killed 2 million Igbos. The unjust war against Iraq, the murder of Ghadaffi, the assassination of progressive African leaders from Sankara to Lumumba to Murtala Muhammed, and many other atrocities were committed by Christians. It is Christians who make monkey chants against black players in European stadiums, not Muslims. The biggest producer and exporter of deadly weapons of mass destruction is a Christian nation, the USA. This country has also invaded or had troops in 97% of ALL countries on Earth. When will you brainwashed people get sense? The unjust international financial system, where African countries can access development funds at 40% interest while white countries access the same funding at 3% interest rates, hence leaving billions of people in poverty and destitution, was devised by Christians. You Christians are by far the biggest problem we have on Earth today. You’re the very cause of all the poverty and destitution on Earth. |
DaChosenOne:How can you post something like this without a link to your sources? Stupid. |
Ogene001:Like I said, emerge from your primitivity and filth and live like normal human beings. See ordinary Rwanda that barely 15 years ago, emerged from a civil war worse than Biafra. This is not their capital Kigali. This is just another small town there called Gisenyi. https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/2/22/The_streets_of_Rubavu-Gisenyi.jpg https://www.nyungweforestnationalpark.org/wp-content/uploads/2019/08/Town-Areas-in-Rubavu-District.jpg https://farm2.staticflickr.com/1521/25639723754_b70ef39ba9.jpg These are your fellow Africans. Much poorer than you. Where is the open gutter and sand and mud? Rwanda has no oil or gold or any major resources. You people have no shame. Remain an embarrassment to the black race with your open gutters, sand, mud, and filth. |
Ogene001:Primitive mumu. Even when you try to educate their thick, stupid skulls, it's impossible. Tufiakwa. Go back to your open gutter and filth. Wretched thing. |
Ogene001:Do you know that by making it EASIER for pedestrians to walk the streets on wide pavements unimpeded by sand and open gutters, and to even do window-shopping, or actual shopping, popping in from one shop to another along the pavement easily without stress, GREATLY INCREASES pedestrian traffic, and hence business activities on a street, thus boosting incomes? If you take your busiest street today in Nnewi, and FIX IT like in that picture above, I can GUARANTEE you that trade will quadruple on that street. Quintriple even. GUARANTEED! Meaning more income for traders and more tax revenues for govt. You people don't use your sense. Check out this busy street filled with shops. Do you think all these people would be strolling like that there if there was an open gutter, sand, and mud there instead of a wide, clean pavement? You can imagine how much those shops are making per day on that street. https://dm0qx8t0i9gc9.cloudfront.net/thumbnails/video/48byXia/videoblocks-people-walking-down-busy-sidewalk-of-times-square-slow-motion_bups7n8q7_thumbnail-1080_01.png |
Ogene001:Dude 'the economy'' is about PEOPLE. Raising the living standards of the PEOPLE. Part of that is done by improving public infrastructure. This is how EVERY STREET should look: https://nacto.org/wp-content/themes/sink_nacto/views/design-guides/retrofit/urban-street-design-guide/images/sidewalks/carousel//retail-sidewalk.jpg It is not hard to do this. It is just about imposing STANDARDS in the building of road infrastructure. The useless state governors must INSIST that every street must look like this. The people who made their streets like this don't have two heads. These useless leaders KNOW how to build these streets, but because YOU, the citizen are not INSISTING they do it the right way, they build you these primitive, cheap roads with open gutters and sand on the side, and you praise them for ''tarring the road''! You're IGNORANT, and they capitalize on this. |
Ogene001:Enugu State. |
Ogene001:Air head, nobody said anything about ''painting roads'. We're talking of pedestrian sidewalks and covered drains in place of filth, dust, and stinking open gutters I know you're used to such primitivity, but the world is leaving you behind.. |
Ogene001:'Economy' of what? What economy when you're walking around in filth and dust? Is it the food you consume or what? What are you enjoying with the ''booming economy''? Fat bank accounts? Of what use is your fat account when you live in primitivity and dust? Sorry I just don't get it. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HniUjov6peM&ab_channel=NnewiCity |
Ogene001:Upgrade am make we see nau. Na for mouth? |
Ogene001:Your problem is lack of exposure. You don't even realise you're living in primitivity. Tell me something. Is there a single road in Nnewi that is tarred, with covered drains and pedestrian sidewalks? JUST ONE. No need to answer. We know the answer is ZERO. Useless, primitive set of people. See ordinary Ikot Ekpene, a village of yesterday: https://iafulcrum.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/09/raffia-city-960x1000.jpg What does all this stuff cost? Nothing. It's just about using common sense to fix your environment. |
At the recent commissioning of the 20 billion dollar ultra world class Dangote refinery, Vice President Shettima was one of the dignitaries who addressed the gathering which included party big wigs, traditional rulers, Mr President and other West African heads of state. Shettima said the expected great things about the refinery, and in conclusion said ''Africa is not all about the crisis in Sudan. Africa is not all about poverty. deprivation and destitution. Africa is not all about insecurity. I hope the CNN, the BBC and the Sky News of this world will be around to give maximum coverage to this function.'' A thunderous applause from the audience followed. It was a defining moment for Shettima and the Tinubu administration. I like the black consciousness of Shettima. The last thing we need is leaders that will be kissing Europe and America's ass. If they try nonsense we ignore them and redouble/consolidate our links with China/Russia/Brazil and other powers. What has the west ever done except assassinate Africa's best leaders including our Gen Murtala Ramat Muhammed of blessed memory, enslave, colonise and loot the continent? Thank you for your Pan Africanist outlook VP Shettima. People like you who respect your African heritage with no colonial mentality regarding whites, usually do very well in government. |
Allisgud:lol.....e go sweet am eh!?!! ![]() |
ronalmagic10:I wonder if Chimamanda wrote a letter to EU and UK govt as well. Madam letter writer. |
Kingabia1998:This is money going into the ECONOMY, not the govt purse. You can’t tell the difference? |
Raheeqilmaktoom:Absolutely. Finding a way to solve a problem is the key to riches. |
theophorus:Great. Those who approach the whole thing with a negative mindset will not benefit. They will still be here condemning Nigeria in the next 20 years. |
Dsalvo:Thank you. There’s no way a 20 billion dollar project funded by a wide variety of local and international financial institutions hasn’t gone through rigorous and extensive environmental impact assessments to determine its long-term viability. |
beerfraud:Or Obidients. Or ESN. Or ‘unknown gunmen’. |
AJ245:I just like this guy. Nightmare of IPOBs. |
folake4u:Light skin in your colonised eyes is always “pretty”. Mumu people. |
Dangote launches Africa’s biggest oil refinery... ....Reduced oil import dependence The most notable impact of Dangote refinery will be the increase in local refinery capacity, which will reduce imports. Dangote refinery is expected to help Nigeria meet 100% of it’s refined petroleum product needs (gasoline, 72 million litres per day; diesel, 34 million litres per day; kerosene, 10 million litres per day and aviation jet, 2 million litres per day), with surplus products for the export market. The refined petroleum output from the refinery in combination with other refineries in Nigeria is expected to meet the shortfall of the estimated daily consumption of 72 million litres of petrol. The country has faced several fuel shortages in the past, which have caused prices to surge for transport and basic commodities. Recent fuel shortages have been blamed on the Russia-Ukraine war. The price of imported fuel rose more than 100%. Importers operated at a loss due to price ceilings set by the government. Besides eliminating import dependency, the Dangote refinery can potentially reduce Nigeria’s crude oil export dependency as more crude oil will be refined domestically. Refining crude oil locally will enable the country pay for the refined product in naira which will save scarce foreign exchange and generate revenue in exported refined petroleum products. Support for allied industries The establishment of the refinery is also likely to help reduce the cost of production for industries that rely on petroleum products such as diesel to power their operations. In turn, this should increase their competitiveness in the global market while promoting local industry capabilities. The refinery could also create an environment for allied industries to emerge in and around it. For instance, businesses in transport, housing and telecommunications will benefit from the construction and operations of the refinery. And the refinery should create jobs and entrepreneurship opportunities. While under construction, the refinery employed about 40,000 workers – 29,000 Nigerians and 11,000 foreigners. The jobs were in engineering, construction, manufacturing and operations, among other areas. In full operation, the refinery, according to media reports, is expected to create over 250,000 direct and indirect jobs. https://theconversation.com/dangote-launches-africas-biggest-oil-refinery-4-ways-it-will-affect-nigeria-205685 |
ebenezary:What major role? Abeg go siddon. NNPC or CBN gave him 125 billion naira. Is that the major role? Do you know how much that refinery cost? |
Pwettylinda:So what will Tinubu do exactly? Order Dangote to pay him a cut of his annual revenue? ![]() You greatly overestimate the powers of a Nigerian president. All Tinubu can do is support the refinery to meet its goals. He cannot try anything else. |
Pwettylinda:This is private sector-led. It has nothing to do with govt. |
The more I research this refinery, the more amazing it is in terms of its salutary effects on the Nigerian economy going forward. It ticks every box. Supplies 100% of Nigeria's refined petroleum requirements, adds 21 billion dollars in revenue to the economy each year, makes Nigeria by far Africa's biggest producer and exporter of refined petroleum products and petrochemicals with zero competition, and saves 20 billion dollars previously used in importing refined fuel each year. So we're talking around 40 to 50 billion dollars annual benefit to the economy. We haven't even added the multiplier effect - the snowball effect - of so much money floating around in terms of new businesses, industries, and jobs. If you do, we're talking a minimum 100 billion dollars added to annual GDP. It's a friggin' game-changer by any measurement. I've read one expert go so far as to say that this project on its own officially makes Nigeria an industrialised country. Here's the thing. Here is how it impacts you, even if you're not into oil and gas business. If you ever had a business idea in mind, ANY BUSINESS IDEA, its chances of succeeding just increased by a minimum 70%. Because, as this refinery is CERTAIN to increase annual GDP in the years ahead by a HUGE margin, the market for your business is ASSURED, so long as you know what you're doing. DEMAND IS ASSURED. And we're talking long-term here. Where do you want your business to be in the next 10 years? 20 years? Its chances of HUGE success are a lot BRIGHTER today, following the opening of the world's largest single train refinery in Lagos. One more thing. The SIEMENS POWER DEAL is on course, and probably in the next 2 to 3 years, power cuts would be a thing of the past in Nigeria. Plan your hustle well, and you will succeed in the NEW NIGERIA. Thanks all. ![]() |
Socialmedia4sel:Grow up. Nigeria is a CAPITALIST COUNTRY. It is the PRIVATE SECTOR that drives development in capitalist nations, not government. Nigeria is a not a communist nation. Know before shouting rubbish. |
