I am a new member here, I have seen a lot of your build, I am impressed! I have project and I was quoted some prices for windows. I just want to check if he is being honest. The site is in Ibeju, I need your help, can you tell me the prices for casement windows with net and burglary for the following sizes:

More so why is it that professionals, consultants and contractors don't recommend, construct and build a tank system within the roof ( embedded within the roof wood work frame/inside the ceiling). Is it not cost effective in its entirety compared to the design and construction of an external tank stand?

Yes, people use to do that, but to me I don’t like the idea because of the maintenance aspect of it.
1. If the tank is leaking you can’t know on time.
2. If you need to replace the tank( due to damage) it will be difficult to do so bcs you will need to remove the roof cover.

Well I think if anyone is trying the fly system then the tank should be as close as possible to the building itself as much as its structurally safe for both. It's ideal that pipe from the tank taking water to the building be less visible to on-lookers irrespective of the positioning or view of the building. This is just an assumption that whoever did the plumbing works offered his services from the beginning of the construction of the structure. Thereby the thought of one wondering what manner of person did such kind of work will not occur in his absence.

At time it might happened that I met the building halve way (most pipe might’ve been berried inside slab) or on the roof already).

Some might be from the drawing.
Or at times I design it on my own.

But let me say I like downward system mostly bcs if your tank is far from the building this system is the best.

Ok, but the airlock their might be from the size of pipe used plus if there are lot of elbow used for the supply pipe line.

Flying cold water supply is rather vernacular, shouldn't there have been a booster pump.

Thanks, booster pump can be used if you need more water pressure in your building, mind you not every piping system can withstand the booster pump pressure bar, more so you need constant light to make it function.

i think your style may increase water pressure, inside the house, would use less pipe. but its a bit unsightly, so pls educate us more on why u used that approach

Everything/every system has merit and demerit

Advantages of this system fly over ( upper connection supply)
1. It will reduce materials.
2. There will be water for both the upper and down floor of the building at the last bottom level of the tank water.
Disadvantage
1. Their will be likely air lock once in a while( but once the taps are open within 2-10 minute it will be off).



Advantage of direct downward system.
1. Air lock can not occur on this system

Disadvantage
1. Once the water on the over head tank is low, the upper floor will experience low pressure of water
