Good morning,

I recently had my pump rewound, and I am now encountering an issue where the regular voltage supply that previously operated the pump is no longer sufficient. The pump only functions when using a generator. Could you please help identify the cause of this problem?

Hello boss. The pump is not tripping of itself.. the problem it will work fine, then the next day it won't work atall again, if I call the plumber guy to come and check it that it's not working, the guy will just work on the wires and it will start working perfectly, then the next day, it won't stop again.. we have been on and off this now for 4 straight times..... my main guess is maybe there is some wrong connection the plumber guy did melting the wire inside. But the guys is just short of ideas or wat might be wrong

Oh ok, don’t let them damage the pump
Call a good electrician to check the wire that is where the problem is

Hello, pls I changed my pumping machine few days ago to interdab 0.5 hp as the old one became faulty.. since them I have been having issue with pumping water... if the water will pump today, the next day it won't pump. The plumber who fixed it for me has been here 5 different time, wen he touch the wires it will work perfectly but the next day it will stop working.... infact yesterdayhe came with an electrician to check the wires, the electrician reconnected everything and give assurance it will not stop working again. But it gave the same issue again today

This is pumping machine I bought just few days ago..

The plumber guy remove one pipe from the pipe that enter the borehole. I hope that is not the caused of this headache.

Here is the free solution for you.
The pump is a good one that is how it’s designed
It has what we called thermostats inside it which do regulate how the pump work ( it will work for some time and when it get hot it will trip-off this is to make the pump not to get burn easily and make it to last t long).
You can remove the thermostat BUT it means it will not get protection again ooo
But it will not stop- work. Stop . As before.

Some client believed that Building professionals and there trade men do make a lot from them on materials actually some are like that while some are mot like that,
But me oo I do say it always if you don’t believed my quotation and quality of materials I will get for you ITs BETTER YOU PROVIDES ALL that needs for me then I will be able to give you my standard changes if it’s kobo I make there it’s VERY OK BY ME.
But some newbie in the field doesn’t know this they believed all things should be channeled to their pocket which will later bring “gbese”
So get them all for me it’s better Than stressing my self to get best materials for you with time wasted and energy yet you will not appreciate it. O wrong naa.

I like the fact that you uses marine boards for decking, won't it likely put pressure on the pocket of client compare to plank?

Based on my years of experience in this field I can say that.
1.If your project is massive use marine board ( the reusable value is there.
2. If you want very neat job used marine board .
3.marine board will safe you some money on decking area where you don’t need FULL POP ceiling it’s will only required simple screeding . . ( if it’s regular plank you will spend on cement, sand, Labour cost

And many more advantages BUT if all stated is not your reasoning it’s better you go for plank.

If you don’t want dampness on your walls, use the damp protective membrane (black thick nylon) during foundation stage for your DPC. Anything outside of that is try your luck.
If you miss it at that stage, other remedies are just bandage on infected wound.

Rising dampness is a full topics in building maintenance course.

I explained it here sometimes ago.
It’s a serious issue with very technical details to correct the problem.
I.e .(1). introduction of engineering Blk. Method
( 2) Introduction of silicon sealant solution method
(3) cathode and anode method.
These comes with a lot of explanation.
I have done like 3 buildings here in Lagos and it works likes 90pec
