First, the old house has wooden doors. Hardwoods and non have spoilt till now. Since 1989.

Today, people are using MBF and foreign materials to produce doors.

I need an honest advice. It's my personal house.
I want the doors to last long.

Do you advise me to buy a foreign door, build locally with foreign materials, get an iron door (the noise when closed sometimes is hmmmm), or get the carpenter to use strong iroko wook to build me some doors.

I need something that's very durable. Something that will stand a test of time and at the same time, be affordable.

I am not talking about the outter doors. Those ones are settled.

You can go for something as this … But good things doesn’t come cheap oo

These challenges are real, some of you that work with me that never meet or even know who I am, may not know the reason you do some of the jobs you do for me in some of my projects. There are some respected trustworthy engineers on this platform. Many of them are silent, showing up once a while doing great underground without any noise. If man talk waiting him eye don see with these artisan ehn, artisan carry materials money do naming ceremony, anther one take do wedding, take money buy keke maruwa, plumber carry friend money start pure water business, not only in construction ooo. The worst one is clearing agent, collect money do wedding. When my friend was supposed to pick his car up na hall the guy dey doing party with the money, my brother party scatter that day.

My brother, I am sure it's the "God factor" following me. I have had the most understanding of clients, the most cooperative and the most tolerant. They see me as an honest person, and I also try to bend over backwards to please them, and pray never to disappoint them.

The last few months has been challenging, I nearly ended up in a police station with a client because the money he paid me fizzled away in my hands before I could spend them on building materials. It was a very sad experience for me, but the client later understood, and gave us more money to complete the work. You can imagine me buying cement for 11,500 when I collected the funds on a 5,800 budget. It was a crazy situation, but God intervened.

On Builder/ engr/ artisan side it’s good to be good no matter condition we are ,we should always try to be honesty and try to keep to the promised bcs it’s not easy to get this money.

Literally means” you can’t certified the whole world.
Do your best and leave the rest.
The best prayer is to meet good client and good services providers ( professionals in build industry and artisans ).
Many things do happen in this industry …I have seen a lot which 20pages can’t contain if start with it here.

I remembered about 6years ago I did a job for someone and thank God I took all aspect of the job pics and video.
Bum after delivery the client called me that I didn’t installed wire and cable in an estate o.( I don’t know how they successfully thefts those items )
I called spyder and I narrated the story to him and we share advise/ideas about this and others construction issues
With advise from him and video/ pics plus confirmation from the site supervisor that he saw it with help of God I was saved.
Later the man called me for another big project BUT I decline straight

I remember some client from here
One gave me 1m plus after he sees that I have almost ran into debt without asking him.
Another one throughout his job when he visited Nigeria he will comes with clothes and some goody for me and some tools free oo
