White elephant spending is not the answer always for premium things. ———— Not until I buy TOM FORD Monk strip of $1600 before my shoe will last for some years I bought Watch of only $150 8yrs ago and it’s working like new till now it doesn’t fade. But if you have money for designer things BUY ooo #iwillneverbepoor#

walexProjects: The cost of your units is dependent to 1.The time of purchase 2.The brand(Daikin is still the most expensive I know of in the market).
The cost of all this things now is crazy because of the exchange rate, even some big importers like Emc and panaserv don't have some units right now in Nigeria. Sent a quotation to panaserv, got a reply that some capacities are not available for now. I got you right my bro |

Knowthis: Hello everyone. I was wondering if anyone here is familiar with Multi-unit split system air conditioners.
I have a 2 bedroom flat that I want to install AC into, but I want a setup where there's just one outdoor unit, and three indoor units: one for parlour, and one each for the other rooms.
Is anyone here familiar with this stuff? Which AC brand sells this in Nigeria and how much is the price range??

FEGEITOK: Any experience with tileless bathrooms? Did anyone on this thread ditch the common tiled bathroom for something else? If yes, please share your experience.
Bathrooms are tiled for a number of reasons:
Waterproofness: Tiles are non-porous, meaning they don't absorb water. This is important in bathrooms, which are exposed to a lot of moisture from showers, baths, and sinks.
Durability: Tiles are very durable and can withstand a lot of wear and tear. This makes them a good choice for high-traffic areas like bathrooms.
Easy to clean: Tiles are easy to clean and maintain. They can be wiped down with a damp cloth or mopped with a mild detergent.
Aesthetics: Tiles come in a wide variety of colors, patterns, and finishes, so you can create a unique and stylish look for your bathroom.
Alternatives to tiles in the bathroom:
Waterproof wall panels: Waterproof wall panels are a relatively new alternative to tiles. They are made from a variety of materials, including PVC, acrylic, and stone resin. Waterproof wall panels are easy to install and maintain, and they come in a wide range of colors and finishes.
Laminate: Laminate is a popular choice for flooring in kitchens and bathrooms. It is durable, easy to clean, and comes in a wide range of colors and patterns. However, it is important to note that laminate is not completely waterproof, so it is important to seal the edges of any laminate flooring in the bathroom.
Natural stone: Natural stone, such as marble, granite, and slate, can be used to create a luxurious and elegant look in the bathroom. However, natural stone is expensive and can be difficult to maintain.
Paint: Paint is a more affordable alternative to tiles and other materials. However, it is important to choose a paint that is specifically designed for bathrooms and that is resistant to moisture and mildew. Based on your analysis tiles is still the best. Back to your question, I have completed a bathroom without tiles and NO traces of dampness. My village bathroom was built with 4 walls of Aluminum covered round the toilet with cross bar plank to cover the entrance with cloth hung on it, without running of pipes , instead we used bucket and fetching bowl to bath. Cheapest and zero maintenance |

The slope on my brother’s floor is as steep as 30+ degree but I realize any area where water is ponding get affected faster than other areas where there’s good slope. Yes that is another problem also. Although he didn’t mentioned that the place is water lodge area. Although the handler should have done the needful at initial stage. |

toluxa1: Please is there anything that can be done about these greenish stuff on the interlock at the back of the house? To eliminate or reduce it. It makes the backyard really slippery and messy to walk on. Strangely, it's only at the back and not at the front (2nd pix) Let me just give you the causes and solution FREE, not always we do this now here like before bcs of personal reasons. The causes are 1. The floor is not well slope to drain the water out fast. 2. The place is not a traffic area like the front part of the building SOLUTION 1. You need to redo the floor to good and appropriate slope gradient in other to drain out the water fast If the problem persists after 2 years see your BUILDING DOCTOR |
