Just go straight to Tower Aluminum in Ikeja, Lagos.
They have black that will last longer than the others before fading. It's a bit pricey.

Tower Aluminum, First Aluminum, Sumo aluminium at Mangoro.. etc..

***Try to use 0.55mm and not 0.50mm.
***Avoid Metcoppo if you want peace of mind.
***Normal vorrugation of longspan preferred.

Please, I need advice about a water tank stand. I have power showers in my house and the plumber suggested that I should make the stand 14ft because of pressure.

When I contacted my welder he said it will cost me 280k to get it done. The issue is I don't plan to spend that huge amount on a storex stand.

When I asked around, some people said I should use the normal height and use a pressure pump.

Please, what do you suggest I do to cut cost and still achieve enough pressure and water stand durability.

Two things are involved here.
You want good pressure and you are in tight budget

Follow this step.
Lesser cost of scaffolding at around 150-200k for 10ft or so
Add cost of pressure pump @ 35-45k
Add ruining cost per year let’s say 12k
Total around 265k or so then you have good pressure

Disadvantages
-No light no pressure
-Substandard plumbing work will result to Leakages
-running cost of the pump ( repair, nepa bill)

Advantages
Good pressure
Lesser time to filled up any container or bathing time.


Good hight like 14ft as suggested cost 280k
Advantages
-Zero running cost
-One time cost ( construction cost)
-nearly zero fear of plumbing issue

I will advise you to go for 280k one time spent at 14ft with 0.1-0.5bar water pressure is adequate for you.

Unless you have good plumbing work from beginning then you can think of pressure pump.

These are 2 monopitches, the heights vary from one another, therefore, it ain't even a gabble but skillion roof.
Note: it is closer to a gable but it is not a gable.

When it comes to roofing, here's my own piece.
Roof according to function and not cost.
The first thing to consider is functionality, then you can relate it with cost.

According to your pics sir, this is a monopitch roof.
It isn't a flat one because it has a pitch according to it's name.
This is quite affordable and therefore could be what mountmoriah was suggesting.

Very one can check up what "flat" means using "the second teacher"

Flat roof can only be achieved through reinforced concrete as at present, therefore it is a slab and it isn't cheap.

Generally and commonly refer to as flat roof
Cheap to construct and easy to maintain.

The bricklayers in my region seem to have a unionised pricing, for fence they uses partitioning (one pillar to another ₦2k), whether it's dwarf or complete height they charges the same amount, even if you want the pillars alone done, I still don't get the rational behind that calculation, more or less a blackmailing price scheme.

I decided to plaster the whole front side of the fence, it's way cheaper in labour than plastering only mounting sides.

I can tell you that this client is not the type that owe contractors.. we got paid for the electrical part way back before it even get to our turn to work on site..

It’s shows in the client character here that he is good man.

Let me talk a bit about the ongoing saga btw brabus and somehow.

@brabus your last post here I remember you told me then to forget money for the said client and I don’t talk much I just count it free work and I leave the money for him. .. I moved.

You see there so many disputes that I have settled off line here more than 10 both in prosperity section and tech section which involves thousand and millions.
There is one on property section here which involve A 30 tonnes capacity trailer and thank God the owner collected the lorry back within 2weeks without any police case it’s btw me as mediator and two of them
I don’t need to mention names but some people knows
Although is part of me bcs I was once a task force member in coker/ Orile giant building material mkt, we do settle dispute always.

So back to this issue, you remember I called you some weeks back to discuss this issue in other to find a way to settle it with your esteemed client but we couldn’t go further again due to tight scheduled.

It’s just a pity that for almost 10pages till now NO sign that this is coming to an end WHY people are just talking back and forth.
And you also you didn’t handle it the way I believed it should be done as a professional WHY.
Don’t forget there is no perfect person in this world we only have Good people.
If you haven’t encounter issue like disputes ( not scam or fraud) in your line of business you are not complete yet but it’s depends on how you handle the situation.
@ brabus I repeated again you didn’t handle this very well to my expectation.
But I need to speak with you and the client off line and let’s see how it’s goes.
