So I check my LinkedIn every night (it’s a weird habit, which I don’t know when I developed). Last night I checked it as usual and I saw that someone from the Government of Canada checked my profile. I hope this is good news.

I noticed thesame thing when I applied last year as well. Its nothing to worry about if your details correlate.

All the best.

Good morning,
Please kindly help out with this 2 questions.

1. When will I need to apply for the IRCC. Is it after I have paid my application fee to the school or before I pay for the application fee.

2. Please is anybody apply to University of Manitoba here that can guide me through

Hello Sheezybobby,

1. You apply for Visa after you've been admitted into any school of your choice not before.

Hello Abby212,

You can decide to submit your SOP with or without Table of content. People just use table of content for ease of reference.

To answer your question, yes, it's exactly like it's done in text books.

Abby212:
Good morning all, please I need a reply to this. I have just finished writing my SOP. I need to know if I'm on the right track. Thanks

This information about NSCC is untrue. My friend tuition deposit was refunded when his study permit application got refused. You will only lose the deposit if you didn’t request for it after the deadline for withdrawal.

Ohhh I see....I'm planning on Dalhousie University Halifax.....but I have some issues....I thought I would have issues since I wrote WAEC in 2017 but I was told that that won't be a problem... outside that I actually wrote WAEC from SS2 so I don't have a transcript to speak of....will this be a problem for me as the university is also asking for a transcript besides my WAEC result....and I also heard that Dalhousie doesn't ask for an English Test....and how long did it take you to complete your visa stuff....help me out please smiley

Ohh. You're applying for an Undergraduate program? I really don't know anything about Undergraduate admissions but if you don't meet Dalhousie's requirements, you can try out other schools.

For NSCC, yes, I got my admission by the school sending my official transcript via email but I think it depends on your course.

I deferred my admission from Oct 2021 to Jan 2022 because i didnt get my visa on time. Now i have my visa, do i need to inform IRCC or i can travel and resume without any issue at point of entry?

You can either send your new LOA to IRCC before traveling or travel and present the updated one at the point of entry. Either ways, you can enter Canada so long as your Visa is still valid.

You'd have gotten the letter from IRCC sooner or later. And it will only delay you further. Kindly pay back and send a strong letter of explanation to IRCC.

All the best

This is for some courses especially Tech related ones.

Oh they recently stop direct application for Nigeria applicant. right now, you can only submit your application through their Agent provider from Nigeria. You can email the admission office to confirm it thou.

The 1k fee is compulsory to retain your seat. You can choose to pay your tuition deposit after you get your PPR.

Decluttergirl:
Hi everyone, happy Sunday.
For Nova Scotia community College (NSCC), do I have to pay full tuition ahead or half? I saw something like a confirmation fee of $1000, is that what I have to pay before I can apply for a visa?

Also, what are the chances of a 20 year old with a B.Sc in a health related course getting approved for Practical nursing Diploma from a 2 year college?

Would really appreciate responses to my questions. May God bless us all.

Yes, your sibling in Canada can attach her Canadian statement of account. You just need to prove that you wont be dependent on her when you get there. She can also send small funds to your Naira account to show commitment as well.

Kudos to everyone helping in one way or the other.

Please can anyone be kind enough to send me sample SOP for Business Administration. (iamleye@gmail.com)

Secondly, my mum will be my sponsor, she has a business but not registered with CAC. No business account but have a personal account for her business (All this old women with no formal education, so they don’t feel cac or business account is necessary) How do I explain this to the VO?

Lastly, I have a sister leaving in Canada, can she sponsor me with her Naija account or better still her Canadian account.

She is currently sponsoring my mum on a super visa to Canada. The application is still inside, is it a good idea for her to sponsor me or should I just use my mum?

I shall await your kind response.

Regards,

Oluleye

I was admitted into their Human Resources PGC program.

You going for another Bsc especially since you just finished one might raise questions with the Visa Officer unless you're able to convince them.

I don't have an idea about tuition for BSc and also, I think you'd have to show availability of tuition for the 4years of study.

muhamadnur:
I dont want to go for masters now

Ok 10k CAD ONLY FOR UPKEEP AND possibly "1year tuition" how much do you think that would be
Travel / Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 20 by rotexteymie(f): 1:26pm On Oct 15, 2021
Hi Muhamadnur,

Why are you going for another BSC when you just finished one? Don't you think you should go for a Master's degree or PGD instead?

About the overall cost, make sure you have atleast 1year tuition (Could me more in your case cos you're going for BSC) and 10kCAD for upkeep.

muhamadnur:
Hi

If you're in Lagos or Abuja walk into the nearest DHL office to send to Vfs. Because of Covid, Inhouse submission to Vfs is no longer supported.

Hello Everyone,
I received passport request letter. I want to know if I have to book an appointment at VFS to submit the passport or I just walk in to submit the passport.

I'm in this exact situation. She has to wait. There's nothing else anyone can do.

Unless she wants to reapply to another school for January and that would mean applying for another study permit.

innoinno:
Good morning Friends
Please I need an advice on challenging issue. My younger sister got approved for study permit and subsequently issued Canadian visa weeks after her classes commenced.

She had earlier applied to have her course deferred to January 2021 before the decision was made by IRCC . However, the school said the course is not available in January and June but September 2022 or pick a different course.

At this moment, we are a bit confused on what to next to do. She has her visa and approved permit.

Your thoughts please

Thank you
