In the trending clip shared online by the bride, identified as @ebonie_nealy, on Instagram, the groom couldn’t contain his emotions when she was being led to the altar by her father and started crying profusely.

The groom’s face was wet with tears as he watched the love of his life walking down the aisle towards him. He attempted to wipe off the tears with his hands but stopped and allowed the tears flow freely.

BREAKING: 2023; I Haven’t Been Expelled From APC- Ann Agom-Eze

A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Ann Agom-Eze, has said she has not been expelled from the party.

Speaking on Wednesday during an appearance on a Channels Television programme Sunrise Daily, Agom-Eze said she has not received any such notice from the party.

Speaking further, the APC chieftain said she remains the party’s candidate for the Ebonyi South Senatorial seat, dismissing claims of Governor David Umahi of Ebonyi State being the flagbearer.

She said: “As far as I am concerned, I’m the candidate because the judgment of the 22nd of June proclaimed me the candidate. So, for me, I am the candidate. Though the case is still in court and ongoing, I’m still the candidate,” she said.

“I haven’t been expelled from the party. You and I know that to expel a person, that person has to be informed but I haven’t been informed. It was supposed to have come in writing, letting me know about the offences.

“And I should be able to respond. It is consequent on my response that I will be invited by a committee to look at those issues before a committee is taken.

“I also did not sign any letter of withdrawal also, I didn’t know where they got it from. I also didn’t lie in court and that’s up for the court to decide.”

Comprehends that on July 22, a Federal High Court in Abakaliki dismissed a suit filed by Umahi, asking the court to recognise him as the APC candidate for the senatorial district.

However, the court recognised Agom-Eze, who came second in the May 28 senatorial primary election for Ebonyi south, but ordered that a fresh primary election be conducted within 14 days.

It was earlier reported that universities lecturers have been on strike since February 14, 2022 over unresolved issues with the federal government.

Some of their demands include improved welfare for lecturers, revitalisation fund for public universities, implementation of the 2009 agreement, and dropping the Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information System (IPPIS) for the University Transparency and Accountability Solution (UTAS).

The National Executive Council (NEC) of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) is set to meet next week Monday to consider the offers by the Muhammadu Buhari-led Federal Government for it to end its ongoing strike.
Recall that ASUU, who had been on strike since February 14, had three weeks ago extended it for another four weeks that would terminate next Monday.


It was gathered that the meeting of ASUU’s NEC may also determine whether the present administration would penalise the union.

Speaking to Vanguard, the National President of ASUU, Prof. Emmanuel Osodeke, said his union was yet to get any offer from the Buhari government officially.

He said: “We have been negotiating with them through collective bargaining, and whatever they have should not be made to us on the pages of newspapers. It should be done the way it is expected to be done. Our main problem with the government is that there is trust deficit. They will say something and will do another thing.

“After the Memorandum of Action was signed last year with them, they were supposed to pay some money in two tranches starting from August last year, but they did not do the needful.

“As for other unions suspending their actions, ASUU is not a one man show. We will look collectively at whatever is presented to us. But as of now, nothing has been officially offered.”

The Federal Government is considering proscribing the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) if it fails to call off the prolonged strike.

BREAKING: We Need To Consult An Oracle To Properly Fight Corruption – Reps Member disclose


A member of the House of Representatives, Hon. Yunusa Ahmad has said that to find a lasting solution to corruption in Nigeria, the oracle has to be consulted.

Ahmed said this while fielding questions from newsmen at the African conference on debt and development (AfCoDD II 2022), which was hosted by the Africa Network for Environment and Economic Justice on Thursday.

The legislator insisted that the country had enough laws to fight anti-corruption but those who steal have perfected the act so well it has become difficult to prove anything on paper.

His words: “We played our roles. First, we assumed there were allegations of corruption. First, we check, is it the law that did not plug the loopholes? We look at the law, study them and then evolve laws that will be in tandem with the reality or modernity.”

He stated further that one of the measures put in place by the National Assembly was the enactment of Nigeria Financial Intelligence Unit (NFIU) Act, which separates it from the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission, EFCC, and the enactment of the Money Laundering Act.

He added: “In over-sighting too, we try to ascertain to what extent are the laws being obeyed. We discovered everything is there. In Nigeria, when you are trying to find fault through the papers, you will never get anything because the papers are neat.

BREAKING: Bode George Speaks On Break With Tinubu

A chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Bode George, has denied a rift with the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu.

Speaking during an appearance on Channels Television’s Politics Today on Wednesday, George said he only has a problem with everything Tinubu has acquired.

The PDP chieftain said the wealth, properties and other assets owned by the former Governor of Lagos State were all a “bundle of lies”.

George said the APC presidential candidate did nothing to alleviate the pains of residents of Lagos despite serving as a governor for two terms.

He said: “I absolutely have no qualms, no quarrel with Tinubu, but all I know is that everything he has said he was or his name is this or his school is that it’s a bundle of lies.

“I’m a bonafide Lagosian, we knew what Lagos was like, and Lagos remains the commercial nerve centre, not only in Nigeria but in the whole of West Africa. What has this fellow done to us?”

Speaking further, George called on Tinubu to tell Nigerians who owns Alpa Beta company, and how much the company has allegedly stolen from the Lagos Government.

Governor Aminu Masari of Katsina State has claimed that the All Progressives Congress (APC) would win the 2023 general elections despite the problems facing the country.

He said this on Wednesday during the inauguration of an ultra-modern hostel/campus named after him by the management of a private university in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital.

Speaking on the chances of the ruling party in the forthcoming elections, the governor said the current challenges facing the country are not only peculiar but had global dimensions.

Masari said some Nigerians said in 2019 that it will be difficult for the APC to win, because of the country’s situation, but it has come to pass that they were wrong.

He said, “Those saying it will be difficult for the APC to win the forthcoming election, they don’t know what they are saying at all.

“That was what they said in 2019 that it will be difficult for the APC to win, because of the country’s situation, but it has come to pass that they were wrong.

“The fundamental thing is that the issue affecting this country has global dimensions. The whole world is facing crisis and inflation. America is going under the worst inflation in the last 40 years, likewise Ghana, Niger, and our neighbouring countries.

A transgender model who is just 10 years old has become the youngest transgender model to ever walk the runway in New York Fashion Week.

Young Noella hit the catwalk for Mel Atkinson, the designer behind Trans Clothing Company.

Noella was born male but began socially transitioning at the age of four.

“It feels good that I’m already inspiring trans kids to be themselves,” said the child model.

Her parents Dee McMaher, 35, and Ray, 32, say they are incredibly proud of their daughter.

Dee said: “Noella really doesn’t ever get nervous or scared by anything. She’s a tiny professional!

“She was so excited to go down the catwalk, excited to see all the people and the cameras. She knows exactly how to work a crowd.

“Noella already has so many transgender people of all ages contact her for advice, support.

“Noella is very outspoken and an amazing advocate for other trans kids.

“It’s great that she can provide this trans visibility on a global scale. She is showing them that trans is beautiful.”

Noella was once a troubled toddler who often threw tantrums and refused to wear the clothes her parents tried to put her in.

Everything changed when, at four years old, Noella went to therapy and declared that she was a girl.

Her parents feel their daughter is too young to begin medically transitioning, but have allowed her the freedom to explore her identity in the meantime.

“Noella had a rough start to life as she was extremely unhappy being perceived as a boy,” said Dee.

“Even when she was two, she said she’s not a little boy.

“She would refuse to wear boy clothes and have tantrums because she was so young, she knew what she wanted but didn’t have the words to say it.

“I should have known earlier as she hated anything masculine so I brought her to a gender clinic.

“She blossomed as soon as we realised and allowed her to finally be herself.

“When she was seven, she legally changed her name.

“She also began modelling on catwalks.

PHOTOGRAPHS: 15-Year-Old Young lady Infuses Herself With Beau's HIV Positive Blood

An unnamed 15-year-old girl who hails from Suwal Kuchchi, a village in Assam in India allegedly came up with a bizarre way of proving her love to her HIV-positive boyfriend by injecting herself with his blood.

Kalinga TV reports that the 15-year-old met the HIV-positive youth on Facebook and fell in love with him. Soon after,  their love blossomed to the point they could not stay without one another.

The couple had been together for the last three years when the girl took the extreme step after trying multiple times in the past to flee from her parents.

However, shortly after the 15-year-old was brought back by her parents, she went on to do the unimaginable.

The girl injected herself with blood taken from her lover, who had HIV, using a syringe knowing the risks she was exposing herself to. It’s unclear if the boy was aware of her intentions.

The girl’s family has filed a complaint against the youth, moving the Police in Hajo to immediately detain him.  As for the girl, she is currently being monitored by doctors, but she will most likely have to take medication for the rest of her life to keep the HIV virus from destroying her immune system.

Supporters of the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, on Wednesday stormed the penthouse residence of former President Olusegun Obasanjo.

They were at the Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL) to await the arrival of Tinubu.

Tens of APC stalwarts are currently at the former President’s residence, singing drumming and dancing.

Tinubu is billed to meet Obasanjo after which he would host the APC faithful at the MKO Abiola Stadium.
