Zeus Zeus is a Trojan horse made to infect Windows computers so that it will perform various criminal tasks. The most common of these tasks are usually man-in-the-browser keylogging and form grabbing. The majority of computers were infected either through drive-by downloads or phishing scams. First identified in 2009, it managed to compromise thousands of FTP accounts and computers from large multinational corporations and banks such as Amazon, Oracle, Bank of America, Cisco, etc. Controllers of the Zeus botnet used it to steal the login credentials of social network, email and banking accounts. via Abuse.ch In the US alone, it was estimated that more than 1 million computers were infected, with 25% in the US. The entire operation was sophisticated, involving people from around the world to act as money mules to smuggle and transfer cash to the ringleaders in Eastern Europe. About $70 million were stolen and in possession of the ring. 100 people were arrested in connection of the operation. In late 2010, the creator of Zeus announced his retirement but many experts believe this to be false.

Since the very first computer virus spread like wildfire by infecting floppy disks, viruses have gone on to cause millions in damages across the globe. The first computer virus, called the “Elk Cloner,” was created as a teenager’s harmless prank, displaying random messages to users and played subtle tricks when the infected floppy disk was booted. But since then, many different types of viruses have been created. Some, like the Elk Cloner, can be annoying but harmless to your computer. Others can do actual damage and end up costing you money due to wasting computer resources, causing system failures, corrupting or deleting your data, or even stealing your private information. It’s difficult to count the actual number of viruses in existence because everyone defines new viruses and categorizes them differently. The Magpies came close to beating Chelsea but surrendered a two goal lead, though the Dutch defender is hopeful of getting something against Manuel Pellegrini's men Daryl Janmaat insists Newcastle United will visit Manchester City without fear as Steve McClaren's men seek a first Premier League victory of the campaign. McClaren went into last Saturday's game with Chelsea under significant pressure having seen his side tumble out of the League Cup at the hands of Championship side Sheffield Wednesday three days earlier. Newcastle responded with a strong performance against the defending Premier League champions, with Ayoze Perez and Georginio Wijnaldum giving them a 2-0 lead before Ramires and Willian ensured a share of the spoils for Chelsea. That result keeps Newcastle in the bottom three with just three points to their name and it is unlikely to get any easier for the Tyneside club at the Etihad Stadium on Saturday. Newcastle won 2-0 at City in the League Cup last season but their last away league win came in September 2000 at Maine Road, with their previous three visits seeing them concede 13 goals without reply. However, with City having lost their last two league matches and surrendered top spot to Manchester United, Newcastle can afford to at least have some hope of ending that barren run. Right-back Janmaat said: "It's important to go there on Saturday with nothing to fear. City started the season brilliantly, but maybe they are struggling a little bit more at the moment with a couple of defeats in the league. "Hopefully the result and performance against Chelsea has answered a few questions. If we play like we did against them, I don't think anyone would be wanting to play us, including City." Steven Taylor (hamstring), Massadio Haidara (knee), Paul Dummett (hamstring) and Emmanuel Riviere (knee) are all unavailable for Newcastle. Jack Colback (knock) and Rolando Aarons (calf) are also doubts but Cheick Tiote and Papiss Cisse are back in training. City captain Vincent Kompany is out with a calf problem and Yaya Toure is unlikely to be risked with a hamstring issue. David Silva is to be assessed after making his return from a calf complaint in the 2-1 Champions League win over Borussia Monchengladbach on Wednesday. Eliaquim Mangala (muscle), Gael Clichy (ankle), Fabian Delph (hamstring), Samir Nasri and Kelechi Iheanacho (knocks) are all sidelined for the hosts, who required a last-gasp Sergio Aguero penalty to see off Gladbach. Goalkeeper Joe Hart was not satisfied with City's performance in Germany but is hopeful it can be used as a springboard for a return to form. Hart said: "The win is important and we really need to improve, but as badly as we played I think we still deserved to win. We need to get back to the first five games of the Premier League, where we were more of a balanced team. "But the season is a long season, so you have got different stages. Hopefully that will put us in a good place for the Newcastle game." |

Man. United • United are unbeaten in their last six home fixtures in UEFA competition (five wins, one draw), including the 3-1 success against Club Brugge KV in August's play-off round. • When United last hosted a German team at Old Trafford – Bayern in the 2013/14 quarter-finals – Bastian Schweinsteiger hit the visitors' goal in a 1-1 draw. United had begun that campaign with a 4-2 win over Bayer 04 Leverkusen in which Wayne Rooney (two) and Antonio Valencia found the net. • Their overall home record against sides from Germany is W8 D4 L2. • This is the first time United have entered their second game of a UEFA Champions League campaign without a point since 1996/97, when they started with a 1-0 loss at Juventus. Wolfsburg • Wolfsburg's only defeat in six away matches in the 2014/15 UEFA Europa League was in the north-west of England – a 4-1 reverse at Everton FC on 18 September 2014. Ricardo Rodriguez got the Wolfsburg goal. • Wolfsburg have scored on all three of their previous visits to England but lost every time. • Diego Benaglio and Marcel Schäfer played in Wolfsburg's first meeting with a Premier League club – a 3-2 home triumph over Portsmouth FC in the 2008/09 UEFA Cup group stage. |

Manchester United will be seeking an improved showing in the competition after being humbled by Milton Keynes Dons in the second round of last season's competition. But Ipswich Town, who have made a decent start to their Championship campaign, will provide a stern test for whichever Reds XI takes to the field this week. These sides last met in the 2001/02 league season, when United won 4-0 at home and 1-0 at Portman Road. Form guide: United are second in the Barclays Premier League table after bouncing back from the Champions League setback in Eindhoven by winning 3-2 at Southampton on Sunday. Louis van Gaal will be keen to maintain that momentum with victory in the first of three successive home games in three different competitions for his side, with Sunderland and Wolfsburg also visiting Old Trafford before September is out. Ipswich were held 1-1 at home by Birmingham City on Friday and, though they were also thumped 5-1 at Reading a fortnight ago, the Tractor Boys sit in fifth in the fledgling Championship table. They've already beaten Stevenage and Doncaster Rovers to reach this stage of the League Cup. |

The Hammers have already won at Arsenal and Liverpool and are hoping to inflict a first Premier League defeat of the season on Manuel Pellegrini's men Sergio Aguero is expected to be back fit for Manchester City's Premier League clash with West Ham, but that is not stopping Slaven Bilic from plotting a potential third shock away win of the season. Aguero was reduced to the role of an 83rd-minute substitute in City's 2-1 Champions League defeat to Juventus on Tuesday because of a knee problem. The Argentina international striker did not aggravate the injury in midweek, leaving City manager Manuel Pellegrini hopeful that Aguero - who netted 32 goals in all competitions last season - will be able to play to feature heavily in Saturday's game. Pellegrini said: "It was a risk to use him [Aguero]. I tried not to because if he got a kick in the same part it could take him more days to recover. "Fortunately he did not have any problems and I hope he will be fit for Saturday." Leaders City, who are four points clear at the top, are the only team with a 100 per cent record remaining in the Premier League, having taken maximum points from their first five games, scoring 11 goals and yet to concede in the process. West Ham have not won a league game at City since the 2002-03 campaign, but can take heart from masterminding two stunning results this season by beating Arsenal and Liverpool on their travels. And, speaking at his pre-match media conference, Bilic said: "It would be a surprise [if West Ham won] of course because Manchester City have scored 11 goals in the league and have not conceded. "They are cruising in the early stages and already have a gap which is hard to get after five games. "It wouldn't be a shock as we already have two out of two away wins. We know what we need to do to have a chance. "They are the favourites of course but I am expecting us to have a good game and if that is the case we will have chances." Aside from Aguero, City have a concern over captain Vincent Kompany, who picked up a calf injury against Juve. Pablo Zabaleta (knee) and Fernando (groin) are likely to miss out, with Fabian Delph (hamstring) and Gael Clichy (ankle) both out. For West Ham, Angelo Ogbonna is unavailable due to a hamstring problem, Alex Song is still recovering from an ankle complaint and long-term absentee Enner Valencia (knee) is sidelined. But Mauro Zarate is back in full training following a hamstring concern and Pedro Obiang is expected to shake off a knock in time to be fit. MANCHESTER CITY (4-2-3-1): Hart; Sagna, Otamendi, Mangala, Kolarov; Toure, Fernandinho; De Bruyne, Silva, Sterling; Aguero. SUBS: Fernando, Caballero, Bony, Navas, Demichelis, Maffeo, Iheanacho. WEST HAM (4-2-3-1): Adrian; Jenkinson, Tomkins, Reid, Cresswell; Noble, Obiang; Lanzini, Payet, Moses; Sakho. SUBS: Randolph, Carroll, Zarate, Collins, Jelavic, Antonio, Oxford. cc: mukina2, lalasticlala,OAM4J |
Luke Shaw's anticipated return to Southampton has been put on hold again. With Manchester United's young star defender in the early stages of recovering from a gruesome leg injury, the visiting Reds are set to move on minus one of their key contributors Sunday. A product of Southampton's youth system who made his debut for that club in January 2012, Shaw was a popular staple for the Saints before he made the £27 million jump to United prior to last season. An ankle injury kept Shaw out of United's 2-1 win at St. Mary's on Dec. 8. So all seemed right for a homecoming Sunday, but the 20-year-old broke his leg in two places from a tackle by Hector Moreno in the 15th minute of Tuesday's 2-1 loss to PSV Eindhoven in the Reds' return to Champions League competition. ''It is awful,'' United manager Louis van Gaal said. ''When he came into the dressing room, he had an oxygen mask and was crying. "I hope he will play again this season." Reaction to the injury spread rapidly and players throughout international soccer took to Twitter to post their concern and well wishes for Shaw, whose 450 minutes logged in league play this season are tied for the club lead. "Gutted mate," Southampton forward Jay Rodriguez posted to the club's official Twitter account. "Stay positive." Shaw, meanwhile, is grateful for the support. "Thank you, you don't know how much you as a club mean to me," he tweeted to Southampton's page. "Thank you so much I really appreciate it." The quartet of Matteo Darmian, Chris Smalling, Daley Blind and Shaw started all eight of United's matches over all competitions this season and are a big reason they've yielded three goals while going 3-1-1 in Premier League action. Marcos Rojo replaced Shaw during that ill-fated match and could be in line to start Sunday when the Reds look to rebound from their European defeat by continuing their solid top-flight form. "You can't take anything for granted, whether that's a league game, a cup game or a Champions League game," Smalling said. In perhaps better news for van Gaal's side, Wayne Rooney could return after missing Tuesday's match and the 3-1 victory over Liverpool last Saturday with a reported hamstring injury. Rooney still doesn't have a goal in his four league matches for United, who scored half of their top-flight goals against Liverpool. He hasn't scored in his last three games against Southampton (1-3-1). United's 6-2-0 league stretch against the Saints ended last season with a 1-0 home defeat. Man U have won three times and drawn once over their last four such contests at St. Mary's. Southampton are trying to record a clean sheet in four consecutive Premier League matches for the second time in as many seasons. However, they've been blanked three times in their last four after a scoreless draw at West Bromwich Albion last Saturday. "That's positive, because in my opinion it starts always at the back and a clean sheet normally makes a winning game," manager Ronald Koeman said. "But I think we have to realise that we have to create more." Graziano Pelle and Dusan Tadic each have two of the Saints' five Premier League goals this season. Pelle scored in last year's home defeat to the Reds. United are hopeful of having captain Wayne Rooney fit again after he missed both the Liverpool and PSV clashes, though Phil Jones is still a doubt and Luke Shaw will not make his St Mary's return after breaking his leg in midweek. For Southampton, Jordy Clasie (ankle) and Ryan Bertrand (knee) are doubts, with Gaston Ramirez (hamstring), Florin Gardos and Fraser Forster (both knee) sidelined for the long term. United have not kept a clean sheet against Southampton in any of their last seven meetings and have only beaten them once in their last four encounters, when Robin van Persie scored both goals in a 2-1 win on the south coast last December. Southampton can close to within a point of the Red Devils in the Premier League table with a victory. BARCLAYS PREMIER LEAGUE Date: Sunday, 20th September Kick off: 16:00 BST Venue: St. Mary's Stadium cc: chamotex, Ogbeche77, mukina2
