Priscy01: Jake Okechukwu Effoduh, a Nigerian lawyer, has called on Nigerian parents not to allow their children get defined by the grades they obtain while in school.
Jake shared the photo above of his secondary school result in which he failed 9 subjects, including Maths and English Language, and despite the poor grades, has turned out to be a fine lawyer with five law degrees.
Read what he wrote; "Dear parent, this was me at 12 years old. I failed 9 out of 15 subjects (including Maths and English) from a public school.
This result from 18 years ago didn’t define me then; and it obviously didn’t determine how I turned out. School isn’t a competition, it is a place for learning, play and growth. There’s more to life than an estimation of one’s academic performance. If you ask me: your child’s result should be taken as a receipt that you paid school fees, finish.
I am 30 years old now and I have bagged 5 university degrees in law from several Ivy League schools. This as well, should never matter! Life is not by the “where” and “what” you’ve done for yourself but by who you are and how it affects others."

ruphytelecom: The duration of the batteries is been determined by the load they carry but on an average load of one led tv one fan and four energy saving bulbs it can go for 8-12hours. The capacity of inverter you need is been determined by the amount of load you want to put on it, if you need to power your led tv, one fan and two bulbs 1kva inverter and a 200ah battery is good for this purpose and it can power them for 12hrs plus
Thank you for the prompt response. I want to power a refrigerator, 3 led tv, 4 fans and 13 light bulbs. As per the batteries, I just wanted to know if you have determined their durability. Thanks.
ruphytelecom: You will need 4 200ah batteries for it to work effectively. Pertaining to how long it can last depends on the load, but for two led/LCD TV 4 fans 8 energy saving bulbs it can do 10 hours plus. Reach me on WhatsApp 08124461809 for further enquiry and purchase.
We also have these batteries 200ah for sale @65k
Good morning sir. I have been following your post for some time with respect to various products you offer to members of the public. I have kin interest in these batteries and an inverter. Can you kindly clarify for me the duration of these batteries (becomes necessary since they are used ones) and recommend an inverter for me.
Bolustical: The party could have gone to the Nigerian Copyright Commission to patent that idea na
Jobless people
The Copyright Commission does not grant Patent. Patent is only needed for inventive works not idea. Copyright will attach to a published work with or without registration by the Copyright Commission.
Omeokachie: "The state structure was, however, not handed to the Fouad Oki faction, judged to have conducted the exercise in line with the national and party laws, guiding such an exercise."
Why?
"In Delta, the party has now been handed over to the Great Ogboru faction, leading to a huge loss for the faction led by Omo-Agege."
Omo-Agege about to die politically. Major parties will avoid handing major roles and structures to him due to his political rascality.
The report is misleading because Omoagege and Ogboru faction is one and the same. The other faction is headed by Otega Emerhor
Daggash98: One thing is certain the likes of Abang with be disgraced someday like Salami. Dansuki's case as the key actor to every cases on NSA office has never been concluded to ascertain the level of involvement of Metuh. He should continue, he too will meet his own in a very hard way.
I have NEVER read or heard of trial in absentia in Nigeria. Justice Abang oversabi will be his down fall
albaniy1: . But oga wait oo i think if Oxford dictionary is costly there is dictionary in the phone u used in sending this rubbish any way mind u there is difference between corrupt and corruption .... Okay he said corrupt leaders ..
Any way to the nearest hospital for an eye glasses..

So you cannot make your point without insults. You can only say one is corrupt if he has been convicted by a court of law. So what is your point?
The club was taken to the top of the league by Olise. Nobody is disputing that. After Olise twitted to celebrate his success with the club, the club had 4 straight defeats and Olise was fired. The new coach has taken the club back to the top.
If you are the president of the club will you be bothered by the fact that the former manager won a case against you? For me I will be happy that I took a decision that is yielding results
In what can be best described as a nightmare, some Kenyan doctors from the Kenyatta National Hospital have carried out brain surgery on the wrong patient. They only found out the error after opening the male patient’s skull.
“Two men had been wheeled into KNH unconscious last Sunday. One needed head surgery to remove a blood clot in his brain while the other only required nursing and medication to heal a trauma swelling in his head, medically known as closed head injury.
“However, a horror mix-up of identification tags saw the wrong man wheeled into theatre and his skull opened.
“Doctors did not realise the mistake until hours into the surgery, when they discovered there was no blood clot in the brain of the man sprawled on the operating table.”
The hospital in a press statement signed by its Chief Operating Officer, Lily Koros announced that it has suspended the 4 health workers on duty that evening including the neurosurgeon, the ward nurse, theatre receiving nurse, and the anaesthetist.
It also states: “The management has suspended the admission rights of a neurosurgery registrar and issued him with a show-cause letter for apparently operating on the wrong patient.”
This suggests that the patients were wrongly identified.
In a shocking twist the patient that was initially meant to have surgery is now reported to be recovering quickly and might not need it anymore. Meanwhile, the patient wrongly operated on is also reported to be recovering well.
Perhaps, it is time for patients to start asking more questions in relation to their treatment before they experience such terrible mistakes or what do you think?
