Like I v said if China blocked Facebook, Google etc for economic purpose, every country does this and America does it alot especially in Aviation and millitary industries.

Chinese government did not ban Google in China, google pulled out of 2010 and 2016 respectively due to Sevier competition, hacking and unfavorable censor negotiation.

No doubt China pretected some parts of her core industries( every country except Nigeria is guilty of that even America did that for aviation and defense industries) but this Trumps move is not about Chinese protectionism because many American companies really depends on Chinese market for survival especially Auto industries because China is the biggest market in the world and by 2030 China will over take America as all rounder biggest consumers market in the world.
We also need to understand that China by culture are not consumer in nature like we Africans, they saves alot and only buy whatever they need and what is cheap. Right now American did not really have what China wants to buy except technology they don't have such as phones (which is why Apple's biggest market is China), chips and semi conductors ( which is why American gov want to kill made in China 2025) and Autos which has already dominated China ( all profits posted by American auto industries are from china) any other things can be sorted out much cheaper in China or somewhere else. You need to understand that America actually included gas in their trade negotiation with China because they couldn't offer much things for China to buy and China agreed even though they are weary of depending on America for energy because energy is the life line of any economy and you cant put that trust in the hands of your rival and enemy.

This move is just an act to slow down Huawei who has been taking the traditional market of American firm particularly the telecommunication sector that is very essential to CIA. Imagine America losing UK, Germany, Australia, New Zealand and Canada all the five eyes countries which are America's backbone of world hegemony because of advanced technology from one upcoming company that did not exist 20years ago, Australia and New Zealand could be pushed around but immediately Angela Merkel and Theresa May made it public they are going ahead with Huawei, the best thing is to kill the snake b4 it distroyed a relationship built for more than 70 years.
