The Lagos state governmennt is practically waging a tax and regulatory war on the private sector.

And the federal government is there watching, allowing Lagos to run uncontrolled without recourse to the consequences on the jobs and jobs creation.

Both of them are collecting huge wages and occupying useful space.

Most of our naija politicians r suspects bcuz they don't all hv thick skins! For all u know it could wike,obiano , yari, ganduje, infact there is an endless list of naija politicians (senetors ,govs...) with dictatorial tendencies that could be behind it.

well i have not been actually embarrassed before, but I would av been.... it all happen when I was dating a girl and did not want her to know I was teaching.... even though the school was a big school and it's pay is not all that bad..... I did not want her to know I was teaching..... on this faithful day as I was teaching she called.. since I gave the class some work to solve , I said let me leave the class and answer this nwa baby....... I was on the call which was getting interesting while I was contemplating to end it.... on known to me those children ( if not God I wod say demonic children) turned the class upside down.... the call was interesting I did not know it was my class the noise was coming from..... while I was on the call, one child ran to me and said sir should I wrote names of noise makers the class is making noise.... I swear his voice was as if the put amplifier..... even the gate man could hear him..... just to cover the shame fast I said okay go... while he was running back the director who has heard the knows came up and saw me on call.... he started shouting what was I doing that my class was noise..... immediately I tried ending the call. not knowing it did not switch off .....the babe hear how the director was just shouting at me telling me how would I act so careless like that.... how would I leave those children.... he called. me some on holy name and said shit........ and told me he would deal. with me later..... well the phone went off after she could not take it any more... I think she felt the shame and embarrassment for me.......

latter that day she called me and said she sorry for the embarrassment and said we should pray about it.... she prayed with me on the phone and then told me things will get better.....

today I am the CEO of my own business... I have a catfish farm and is doing well... and I plan to. marry her

If there is any region that needs a socio-cultural ethnic think-tank, it is the south east.

Ohanaeze-Ndi-igbo is a brilliant idea, unfortunately it does not know its purpose.

The south east is geographically disadvantaged.
It does not have a natural access to the Atlantic Ocean.
It has poor roads.
Fortunately, it's small.

The south east need to approach development as a whole.
As if it was one state or country.
Divert scarce resources into improving the different strengths of each individual igbo states to serve a broader igbo national interest.
That is the only way to mitigate the severe geographical disadvantages it has.

It does not have comparative advantage over any other southern region, but with smart governance it can mitigate it.

I am churning out development pearls that none of their elected governors can offer.

The average igbo cares about himself, his wife and children.

As long as those are okay, he is okay.

No broad view mentality.

That is why someone can destroy a fence protecting an edifice that is critical to pan igbo interests because it threatens his own individual interest.

The south east is massively underdeveloped.
Compared to any region in Nigeria.

Don't like story buildings built by people outside the region fool you.

The region lacks the basic mechanisms for economic sustainability more severely than any other region.

The people are hardworking but they don't have that "general good" mentality.

If I can build a house in my village, feed my family, I am okay.
It does not matter if the general good is jettisoned.
That is the mentality of the south east. That is why there is no Pan igbo development mentality.

Every igbo governor develops his family, develop his village or local govt, shares money and leave.

No serious governance.

And you wonder why igboland is under developed.

Which tourism?
When was the last time Nigeria really promoted tourism?

I can understand fashion, but there is no tourism in Nigeria.

Nigerians could learn a few things from Black America.

Not their rap or pop culture or even swear words.

We could learn their ability to mobilize. It has made Black lives matter in many ways.

Nigerians can now enjoy America because of the mobilizing action of black America.

America in the 60s,70s,80s and even 90s would not have been very kind to Nigerians.
Black Americans changed that with their blood and sweat.

Instead of Nigerians to learn how to mobilize so that we can rescue Nigeria from the hands of termites, we are showing superiority complex against these black Americans.
