RomanceRe: Introvert Vs Extrovert, Who Will You Date? by Ruby458(f): 4:37pm On Nov 11, 2021
My last relationship was with an extrovert. When we broke up, I made up my mind that I would never date or marry an extrovert again.

It has become a prayer point for me now sef. I would date and marry my fellow introvert. We will understand ourselves cool
HealthRe: I'm On A Mission To Break My Addiction To Pepsi. by Ruby458(f): 4:05pm On Nov 11, 2021
pansophist:
I've been addicted to lots of things in the past and I broke off with them, and one evergreen advice I can give you is to start small, and progressively increase it as times goes by. Ok maybe it's not an addiction, but I used to have an unhealthy need to be right, to be seen, to correct someone, and such unacceptable behaviours.

But when I get the urge to do so, I'll just ask myself if this will matter in the next five weeks, five months or five years? Then I shut the fork up. So if you like, call me a terrorist, all kinds of names, I'll just ignore. And with time, I enjoy being invisible, operating on the background, being tick skinned, and not being in the spotlight.

It's same with learning a new skills. Last month, I ran a marathon, it was one of the hardest thing I've ever done, challenging and proving to myself that it's mind over body. But before I ran it, I've been training for months, and been running for years. I remember when I can't ran one km, but now? I can run non stop for hours. The point I'm trying to make it that time, and consistency rewards everything. To quit or start something, just start small, then grow, and let compound wealth do its magic.

Now I can run for hours without stopping unless I'm really thirsty or it's a bad weather. I've also developed a thick skin, as in eh, you see the way Buhari ignore all his haters and yabbers, that's me. Hate or curse me all you like, doesn't matter. But one thing is sure, I'll live a good life, and you'll know it. Success if the best revenge I guess? So yea. Maybe what I said is not a direct response of how to stop soda addiction, but can help you reach that goal. Graciaa.
Nice one. Have picked two important points from your post.

huh Sometimes I ask this question is there God at all? Does he read answers prayers because I wonder he would have prayed for his wife not to die or he wouldn't have prayed huh I don't understand. Maybe that is why He is call Unquestionable undecided undecided
There is a God. He really answers prayers. He is a very good and kind God, full of mercy and compassion on us his children.

He is also the all-knowing God. He knows ALL things. He knows why this precious daughter of his died, and he will comfort the grieving family.

Do not let your heart be despaired or troubled, God is good all the time; even in death, God is GOOD.

Trust him with all your heart, and never stop praying to him. He cares deeply for you.
Christianity EtcRe: Is It Necessary To Baptize Again After Changing Church? by Ruby458(f): 5:28pm On Nov 07, 2021
I do not think it is necessary to get baptized again. As long as it was baptism by immersion, then you're good to go.

I got baptized by immersion in RCCG. I left there and joined Christ Embassy years ago. During my Foundation School, they asked me if I have been baptized before, I said yes. I did not get baptized again.
Christianity EtcRe: Why Did You Choose Your Current Church? by Ruby458(f): 5:18pm On Nov 07, 2021
I joined Christ Embassy 8 years ago, and I have not regretted it at all.

I love my Man of God, Pastor Chris so much because God used him to open my eyes to his word. I have learned to fellowship with the word and the Holy Spirit, and my life has never being the same again.

His teachings about the Holy Spirit has tremendously helped me.

His love and compassion towards people has also helped me to learn to show love in the ways that I can.

I don't joke with my Rhapsody of Realities. I read it every single day, say my health confessions and the #keepsayingit confessions of the day.

I also try to participate in the Monday, Wednesday and Friday Pray-a-thon.

All these has helped to improve my spiritual life, and I'm grateful to Pastor Chris for that.

His recent teachings about the rapture has also put made me conscious that Jesus is coming back very soon. I have prepared my heart, and consciously laying aside every weight of sin that would make me not to be a part of the first flight. I definitely do not want to be here when the antichrist shows up.

These rapture teachings has made me to pray for sinners more. I pray everyday for my friends that are not born again, I declare their souls for Christ, and I know that God will answer me soonest. I also pray for sinners all around the world, nobody should be here during the reign of the antichrist because it will not be funny.

I have also learned to be faithful in paying my tithe.

I love you, Pastor Chris. Thank you for letting God use you to give my life a meaning.

if I'm your husband, I will rather invest for you so that you can start making money and start making contributions towards the home-front.

It needs not be 50/50 but you must contribute.

..
grin grin
I'm tired of the argument, Biko. Let everyone do what works for them.

But you know that there is no wife that doesn't contribute towards the home front. Every woman does, or you think it's just what the husband brings that sustains the home in these times? Women contribute so much financially, and don't make noise about it.
cool

Ofcourse your choice cos it's not you that do the providing. Let the man choose what he wants.

If he wants you to contribute he will tell you and assist you set up a business or give you the chance to go look for a job.

See times have changed, country is hard so if you are still having this leechy mindset I wish you luck.

What am I even saying... I dare you to travel out of naija and still have this mindset if you will not remain single for life.

It is in naija that this mindset stays.
My hubby will have no issues whatsoever providing for his family, and I will appreciate him for that. It does not matter what happens in other countries, even if I relocate to another country, or even marry oyibo, he will derive joy in providing for me and our children smiley smiley

Even in great countries with good economy, there is a sharing formula between couples howbeit naija with crazy economy.
You want a marriage where there is a sharing formula, all good and fine if that's what works for you.

I have a different mindset and belief, and it doesn't make me a bad woman. Why do you have issues with it? So a man providing for his family means he will die early? shocked shocked
Most men take pride in providing for their families as much as they can, it is a God-given responsibility, and they do it without complaining.

BiafranBushBoy:
Lol

It is the same as saying "I want a bicycle that can fly like an airplane".

The first step to understanding life is knowing that there's something called gender roles.

Remember as kids when you played Papa and Mama, who was doing the cooking and all?

Were you taught who should be in the kitchen or who should be building houses?

In every environment, no matter what, as long as there's a man or woman, a woman would always look up to the man to pilot affairs of the home, while you will look up to your wife to take care of the home.

Yes, she might be a hustler and make money, but if you aren't doing it well, she will disregard you.

Yes, you might be cooking, but if your wife leaves you to handle the affairs of the kitchen, you will loathe her secretly.

In summary, there is a gender role in every family - no matter how Behind or how Americana you wanna sound.

Thanks!
God bless you for this. You have said it all.

The people who may not die are those trapped at the opposite angle from where the building collapsed cry cry
I really hope that this ugly experience brings about some positive reforms and causes us to change from our dubious and greedy ways

Saw In Edo in my school (Unizik) many years ago when they ce to shoot movie. She came with Desmond Elliot in the car, and that one was forming celebrity. We all stood looking at them, nobody went to meet them, to avoid mkpari grin grin
In Edo actually walked up to us and said, "Hi, guys". We were surprised, and greeted her back warmly.

I have also seen Kate Henshaw many years ago in Asaba. I went to First Bank to see my sister ( they were still in their old building at the back of the now new building). We actually passed each other, she was going out while I was going in, we looked at each other, and she said hi. I smiled and greeted her back.

Some of them are very cool.
Christianity EtcRe: Pastor Eno: A Woman’s Role In Her Husband’s House Is To Increase His Wealth by Ruby458(f): 4:04pm On Nov 01, 2021
Sanchez01:
Not sure you really understand God's standard and definition of marriage. There is no 'I' in God's standard for marriage. The man's property is for the two and the woman's property is for the two as well. Marriage isn't by standard, a partnership. A man is designed to be a provider while a woman is designed to be a nurturer. The ability to increase the resources in the home is not given to the man but the woman. Prov 14:1 confirms this.

The idea behind 'his own wealth' and 'her own wealth' falls short of the real scope of marriage and it somehow gives an idea into why most marriages flop. Everyone has their own standard today; all of which frustrates leaving and cleaving and two being a flesh.
Very apt. 'And two shall become one...' is God's plan for marriage.
