Ojiofor:I tend to cut him some slack for obvious reasons; Confronting Nigerias brutal regimes has never been for the faint hearted. He has lost his parents in the process. I also think that these personal losses seem to have radicalized him more than before. But he has to pick his fights. The British are incurably imperial! Rather than infuriating them, he should be clandestinely meeting MPs, especially now we have a lot of them with Igbo descent. To support a political party in the US is to pigeonhole your movement. Now that the democrats are about to assume power, what will he do? The south Sudanese and the Tutsi navigated through similar realities much better. France played a dirty role in the Rwandan genocide but Kagame and co seldom lambast them so brazenly... You don't start a fight with someone who is in a position to eliminate you so easily because of your present vulnerabilities.... Like we say back home "A child that has not yet grown but start asking around about what killled his father, the same thing that killed his father will kill him"... |
Ojiofor:There are no permanent friends nor enemies in politics... He should know.. |
michelz:The irony here is that most of his members whom you have strived so hard to describe in unsavory terms are far more educated than you, far more travelled than you, far more ,'monied' than you and inspite of his occasional gaffes, Nnamdi kanu is most probably far more erudite than your local Nigerian leader... The fact that you can't appreciate these obvious facts while hurling insults with wrechless abandon shows you might be far more dense than those you're eager to castigate.. Very unfortunate scenerio if you ask me... |
Righteousness89:You are one dangerous alarmist.. |
Not sure if this is his real account or fake. ..But all I know is that alligning with an American political party against the other is not strategic..., lambasting an American leader or British leaders when you are fighting for freedom from a country under their close sphere of influence is politically suicidal... China can invade Taiwan this night! China can send in police and army into Hong Kong tomorrow morning. America won't fight a nuclear war because of these but they can unleash a torrent of actions that will make you regret it... China is aware and so irrespective of her mighty powers, will decide to follow those irritating duo peacefully....So if we are struggling to escape the Nigerian conundrum, we need all the friends we can get. . Be friends with all parties, and try to accept much of thier conditions until you find your feet.. |
I like the way these Americans are basically tearing themselves apart... They love to see other people in worse situations. Let them stew in their own juice for a while.. Might help teach them some lessons about empathy next time... |
HAccord:That is after looting shops of easterners oo |
DenreleDave:Ignorant talk... Travel, una no go travel. If you know the opportunities available for emigrants in China , you won't be here talking anyhow. Do you even know that there are many young Nigerians, who left to China without up to a thousand dollars in their pockets but are today factory owners in China? Is Nigeria better than America or Britain whose citizens are swamming all Chinese cities job hunting? |
Polarising figures are always the ones shouting off their heads about unity and patriotism... |

Why should we be distributing palliative to borno youths and why should we be rebiulding infastructure they deliberately destroyed? Are we the ones who corrupted their mentality and sent them to wierd religious wars? |
Delusional statement! Very naive Jonathan... You handed us all over to one irredeemably polarising disaster of a president who has gone on to run one of the most murderous regimes in the countrys history and you're there talking about "peace and love"? Peace and love to Agatu people? Peace and love to Lekki protesters? Peace and love to Obigbo? Southern Kaduna?? Plateu?? Aba?? Enugu?? Nkpor? Onitsha?? Benue?? Thousands of totally avoidable deaths.. They harrassed and harangued you out of power, otherwise there were enough legal loopholes that could have been used to stop this man; no certificate, DSS disqualification for violent threats or for looting at PTF or for extra judicial murders during his junta days. But no! You were determined to be seen as Mr Peaceful.. Today everybody in this country is apprehensive, living in fear of the catastrophe that is in the offing as 2023 approaches. What is the sense then behind the saying that your "candidacy was not worth the blood of anybody", if the man you handed over to out of fear, drinks blood? |
That governor will shoot his shot at the appropriate time... Just watch and see.. |
SuperBold:Who do u dis tin? |
ijawcitizen:Recovered from who? You sell your property and collect enough cash, you then waste the income on ogogoro and when the cash runs out, you start looking for allies to help you "recover" your property! Was the said property snatched from you? |
He looks like a hawk... |
peacettw:They don't want to reduce overhead costs because that's how they bring in the money for the boys... Ministries are still employing from the back door even after an embargo on employment was imposed. And these are ministries and agencies that are irrelevant or with functions duplicated across agencies. Over inflation of contracts and over invoicing are the norm. If they could Just reduce the ministiries and agencies by half, security votes by more than half, reduce buldgeoning emoluments for political office holders by more than half, cut down drastically on the billions paid to the utterly corrupt legislature, get a hold on the ministry of solid minerals, where Chinese Nationals collaborate with politicians to mine solid minerals illegally, making a kill at the expense of the government, fight corruption at NNPC, set up a body to take over the management of many corruptly awarded oil wells that help some politicians make billions at the expense of the government, look into the gas sector and solid minerals sector seriously.... , they will have a hold on their finances.. |
Rosskivvy:https://www.nairaland.com/3623579/inflated-prices-road-construction-nigeria https://autojosh.com/is-nigeria-the-costliest-place-to-build-roads-in-the-world/ Why don't you google that... Many reearch work on that... Patriotism shouldn't be proved with servitude... |
As long as contracts are inflated, you will need endless trillions to do simple road jobs. It will get to a stage where the ministry's budget allocations will not be enough to do 2 or 3 roads because of over inflation of contracts. It has been said that it costs more to do a kilometer of road in Nigeria than elsewhere in the world. You would expect him to take actions to reduce the cost of road constructions but he didn't because he runs a paddy paddy ministry.. This man has failed at the power ministry, spectacularly, the same way he failed at Lagos while the press burnished his image.. Roads are bad and he has been there for 6 solid years. |
It's not a must that we will plant everything down south.. They ones we can't plant or are too busy to farm, we buy elsewhere. From Cameroon, Burkina faso, Ghana. Lift the ban on agric imports. America, China, UK, all import some of their food... After all, the socalled farmers up north that benefit from these bans, pay no taxes. Some are even from Niger. |
vanbonattel:Allow him to rant.., another protest might come before that Christmas... He will enjoy the revolution by fire by force... |
thebosstrevor1:Lol It's supposed to be called "mouth mask" in Nigeria.. Nobody tries to cover the nose with the mask...Watch clearly, 80% will just cover the mouth or jaw.. |
BLAISECAMPAORE:Ok naah.. |
BLAISECAMPAORE:You are totally right! Any other thing you want to say? |
thatigboman:Very incompetent! Very parochial.. Very very empty... |
Looting incorporated.. |
As messy as these whole process has turned out to be, I'm starting to suspect the democrats and their desperate love to vote by mail. This man suspected this process and complained bitterly about it. Seems like career politicians desperately wanted him out of the way..Idon't to understand why it seems like its only democrats prefer voting by mail that much.. Looks like the whole idea of voting by mail is very vulnerable to manipulations after all.. |
