Oracleforce:I will do as you said... But remember you are the one who started the "trash talking"... Enjoy your day tho.. |
Covid kee u dia... Alarmists everywhere.. |
They tormented us for a very long time... |
sarrki:Anybody that argeus in support of this outrageously evil regime is the one that is "anti people"... |
This very Senate is the engine room of corruption. Led by one utterly corrupt Ahmed Lawan, they are tone-deaf to the pains and poverty around them. In the midst of poverty around them, this very Senate collects far more money than any other anywhere in the world. To add salt to injury, they are abysmally redundant. .. just there to rubber stamp the wishes of an equally corrupt presidency. Any structural changes to be made going forward that doesn't include defunding of the national legislature to meet up with the funding of the security agencies and payment of civil servants must not be accepted. The national assembly as it's today is only useful on paper... In practice, it's anti people, counter development and pro corruption. The national assembly needs a total restructuring now! |
sarrki:Looks like your akant has been replenished again.. you have been quiet...Tinubu and his gang feel they can support the protests as long as they can use it to get what they want from Buhari... And once their akants are brimming with funds, they will now start speaking up against the whole thing.. it will not work that way this time.. |
SadiqBabaSani:Go to the prisons.. There is abundant law and order there.. |
YoonSung40:Come, let me pay you amnesty for your resources while I steal them, ok? In any event, I think the most disorganized set of people are ttge so called Niger Delta militants. They are just blackmailing the ijiots in power to get more security contracts. Not ready to fight for what is theirs.. |
The DSS and all the pro administration goons are on overdrive trying to paint a genuine protest as some sort of mob actions led by hoodlums.... Yet, the real hoodlums are Buhari, his ministers, the governors and all executive theives who are busy as we speak looting this country blind in various ways.. |

It will backfire... Be guided you premium zhombies under the command of a wierd looking snake catcher.... |
Guestlander:Will you Go and mine skulls that you are very good at... Imagine this phlegm.. |
IkwereNgwaSon:Ok sir.. |
sulaak:This is why I like some Asian countries. Pornsites are generally banned and if they find you with underage porn videos, you are gone.. |
IkwereNgwaSon:It feels good to receive friendly fire sometimes.. ![]() |
Guestlander:Yes! We intend to run it this way! What's your problem with that? |
egopersonified:Obviously, the woman is having an "ego" problem.. |
tamdun:Massive developments, right? |
Stacyomolola:You know them very well.. |
prof800:Sometimes, having that thuggish quotient might be what you need to survive in a thug filled environment. So it becomes some sort of survival skill that you need on day to day activities as you come face to face with all sorts angry, frustrated and rebelling characters... It's a messed up situation really.. |
But I heard you, I will obey your command.. |
StaffofOrayan:You have a point... I have personally done some work on the reasons for this "intentional strive towards underdevelopment"... I have my candid views on that but there is no way one can make such views without being termed a tribalist or so... So let's let the sleeping dog lie.... That said, i just think it's counter productive to surrender power to cultures that see modernisation as some sort of Haram! Enclaves with serious ideological impairments (political/religious) shouldn't be the ones entrusted with the responsibility of steering the country towards rapid developments/urbanization.. It's very simple; You can't convincingly embark on what you don't believe in.. |
Lovelyn451:How are you doing pretty woman? You are right about the behavioral trend of some clannish politicians.. I'm not in support. My grouse with that poster has to do with the fact that this very "retort" has been so overused here tht it's becoming a sort of "coded slang" for taunting folks from the east... Folks conversant with such discuss here know where I was coming from. Not denying the sickening behavior represented by that ugly billboard.. That said, Anambra folks are not left out too... It's a sort of recurring attitude that can be stopped anyway, that's if opinion leaders start to consider tht a serious problem... Do have a great day, ma'am... |
Oracleforce:Yeah, that's true... It's also true that I can feed you for the rest of your life.. ,such is life my brother. |
This worn out drug dealer wants to use the protests to cash out as usual? |
ScotMisile:Lol It actually happened in Onitsha ... Ife n'eme na Awada... Sordid details.. let's move on shaa. |
DonTattaglia:You mean I'm telling you a lie or you find it hard to believe? I'm telling you a real life story told by a PARTICIPANT DIRECTLY to me! She is still alive! You don't know me. You don't know her. And you convincingly believe I'm lying? Why would I lie to you, to start with? I mean, what will I gain from that? Boys from her school who are now undergraduates, somehow came back and started this nonsense. They even have a meeting house where this happens on a group level on weekly basis. Fact! |
EmekaMD:We're on the same page, bro.. What I was trying to say is that we have erected an administrative structure that not only permits corruption, but also encourages it. The fact that such practices have now lasted for more than half a century without being challenged seriously, has now turned it into some sort of tradition. Ways to save money? You asked for it: 1) Cut the amarphous "security votes"! Nothing encourages institutionalized corruption in Nigeria today more than this. Security votes are more or else funds mapped out by the executives for internal security issues but in almost all cases, the handlers account to nobody. In Delta State for instance, there was a year the governor there mapped out over 30% of the budget as the states security vote! That's almost half of the budget! Outrageous! There is no single governor in Nigeria that is not deeply involved in using the security votes to loot. And Buhari knows but won't do anything. 2) Cut down the size of government. By this I mean both the size of political appointees and the civil service. Many governors have thousands of "aids" , who are nothing but ethnic henchmen or party urchins. Essentially this has become an avenue to find jobs for "the boys". Same with the civil service that is highly over-bloated, because politicians have turned that into a 'social scheme' sort of. Have a law on the number of commissioners a state can have (shouldn't be above 12, if you ask me) and aids. Local governments too.. 3) Have a federal agency that should be constitutionally charged to go through all government contracts above say 100k. All! You draw up the contract papers as a governor for instance, you forward that to this body, and they must get back to you within a month..It's going to be tedious but trying times demand far reaching actions. Any further increases must be reported to this body. The EFCC is compromised at the moment to do this. 4) Retire the license of any bank involved in money laundering. Especially for politicians and civil servants. Send the executives involved to lenghty jail terms, starting from say 35 years for the smallest funds involved. Ofcourse the jail term continues to get bigger with bigger funds. Same with ordinary individuals involved in siphoning funds for politicians or from private businesses! 5)All oil well licenses, all gas fields licenses, all solid minerals rights awarded, all contracts by such agencies like the NNPC, the PPMC, the customs, internal revenue service etc should be reviewed. Infact, left to me, most oil Wells should revert back to a VERY PROFESSIONALLY managed agency for management. Most oil Wells"dashed" to friends of people in power are now resold to some lucky Chinese and westerners, who pay half the price for these and then make a kill from those thereafter. That kills the so called local content policy! 6) Finally, make it mandatory for all public officers, both the elected, the appointed and civil servants to sign a one page document that will authorise the state to shoot them to death, if it's proven beyond reasonable doubt that they are involved in corruption! This should be the first paper to sign after thee swearing in ceremonies or after signing the appointment/employment papers. Let's start this way, I believe we could be saving trillions every year.. |
Lol, We like to humor ourselves sometimes.. Reminds me of some Nigerians who will like to argeu vociferously about the need for citizens to get their voters card ready to kick out Buhari! I mean, kick out a man that has been involved in almost 4 coups! If any of those coups failed, he will be tied at the bar beach and shot according to law! A man that took such risks will now allow you to chase him away with you "nuclear powered PVC"!?? Check am naa..E make sense? We should embibe the habit of telling ourselves some home truth sometimes.. Now, we are comparing salaries..Has there been any Nigerian president that really worried about his salaries? I'm sure some of them will feel insulted with that. Salary issues are for those who might find reasons to depend on their salaries at a point. Not the likes of Buhari who can award the richest oil block in the country to his dog from his bed and nothing will happen.. The gap between countries with effective remunerative structures for their political office holders and those that have consciously institutionalized corruption is massive.. |
