RomanceHow Did You Start Using ATM? by ruggedmallaam(op): 6:52am On Dec 30, 2017
My uncle's wife gave me her ATM card to withdraw a certain amount of money for her.instead of me saying i don't know how to use it. I went to youtube and watched videos of how it is used, but still, that wasn't enough. I went to the closest ATM booth and met just 2 to 3 persons there because it wasn't dispensing, as a sharp guy, i quickly gave my card to one of them and told him ''please am a first timer, can you show me how to use this machine? And he agreed. How was your first time of using ATM like? Did anybody teach you? Let's share our experience CC;Lalasticlala,Mynd44.

PoliticsState Gov't Imams, Muslim Faithfuls Offer Prayers For Yusuf Buhari's Recovery by ruggedmallaam(op): 6:36am On Dec 29, 2017
….As President meets suspended Rep, Jibrin By Johnbosco Agbakwuru ABUJA – THE Imam of the Aso Villa Mosque, Sheik Abdulwahid Suleiman on Thursday led other Muslim faithful who converged at the mosque in the afternoon to offer a special prayer for the speedy recovery of the President’s son. Yusuf Buhari This is as the Presidency keeps secret the condition of Yusuf Buhari, saying it is a security matter. Meanwhile, palpable anxiety continued Thursday over the state of health of the President’s son who was involved in a motorbike accident in Abuja, Tuesday night. Yusuf, was said to have sustained a head injury in the accident and had one of his limbs broken. He later underwent a successful surgery at a private hospital in Abuja. There were unconfirmed reports making the rounds that he was flown abroad in the early hours of Thursday for further medical attention. However, Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu, said there was no truth in the report. He said, “That is not true please.” Recall that the media aide had in a statement on Wednesday said, “Yusuf Buhari had a bike accident last night around Gwarimpa in the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja. “He broke a limb and had an injury to the head as a result. He has undergone surgery at a clinic in Abuja. He is in a stable condition. “The President and his wife, Mrs Aisha Muhammadu Buhari, are thankful to Nigerians for the good wishes and prayers for their son,” the statement said. Suspended Rep Jibrin meets Buhari in closed- door Former Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Appropriation, Abdulmumuni Jibrin was at the State House, Abuja yesterday where he met with President Muhammadu Buhari. Addressing State House Correspondents after the closed door meeting the lawmaker who represented Kiru/Bebeji Federal Constituency of Kano State before his suspension, said his visit to the Presidential Villa was to pay homage to the President whom he considers his father. Jibrin, who parried the question on whether he was in the villa to seek President Buhari’s intervention over his predicament in the parliament was suspended by the House of Representatives in 2016, after he alleged that the Yakubu Dogara- led leadership was engaged in fraud. “Well, I cannot comment in that regard. The most important is that I saw him and he is in a very high spirit. I greeted him like a son and he spoke to me like a father,” he said. On the call for his recall by his constituents, the former lawmaker described the development as “normal” in any democratic setting, while also noting that his experience was “a learning curve.” He however admitted of a massive campaign by his constituents to get his suspension upturned by the court and parliament. “Of course Nigerians like justice, my constituency has been suspended for 16 months, so it is only normal that people will talk and ask questions. Why are we not back on the aspect of court case that has been lingering in the court for the past 16 months. I think these are some of the reasons people are raising issues in the public glare,” he said. He likened his predicament to that of the Senator representing Borno South, Ali Ndume, who was also suspended but recently recalled by the Senate on the orders of the Court. He wondered why his case was being delayed by the judiciary. “The same case, similar case, identical case was dispensed with within two months; but I am still hanging in the court system. But again, I know the Nigerian judiciary is just, so I am pretty sure that soonest I will be able to get judgement and my constituency will soon get back to the house,” he said. The former lawmaker said he took advantage of the visit to sympathise with President Buhari over the son, Yusuf’s motorbike accident on tuesday. Also, President Buhari on Thursday met behind closed doors with Senator Kabiru Gaya who told newsmen that his mission to the villa was to thank the President on his recent visit to Kano State.

IslamRe: Are Muslims Allowed To Eat Christmas Food? by ruggedmallaam(op): 12:18pm On Dec 22, 2017
It is permissible for a Muslim to accept gifts from the kuffaar or to give them gifts, especially if they are relatives. The evidence for that is as follows: (a) It was narrated that Abu Humayd al- Saa’idi said: We went on campaign with the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) to Tabook, and the king of Aelia gave the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) a white mule and a cloak, and he (the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him)) approved of him as the ruler of his land. Narrated by al- Bukhaari (2990). (b) It was narrated that Katheer ibn ‘Abbaas ibn ‘Abd al- Muttalib said: ‘Abbaas said: I was present with the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) on the day of Hunayn. Abu Sufyaan ibn al- Haarith ibn ‘Abd al- Muttalib and I stayed close to the Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and did not leave him. The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) was riding a white mule of his, that had been given to him by Farwah ibn Nufaathah al- Judhaami. Narrated by Muslim (1775). It was proven that the Sahaabah also (accepted gifts from the kuffaar) with the permission of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) during his lifetime. The mother of Asma’ bint Abi Bakr – who was a mushrikah – visited her daughter and the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) gave permission to Asma’ (may Allaah be pleased with her) to uphold ties of kinship with her. And it is proven that ‘Umar ibn al- Khattaab gave a suit to his brother who was a mushrik. Both hadeeth are narrated in al- Saheehayn. To sum up: it is permissible for a Muslim to give gifts to a kaafir and to accept gifts from him. Secondly: With regard to gifts given on their festivals, it is not permissible to give or accept them, because that is venerating their festivals and expressing approval of them and helping them in their kufr. Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyah (may Allaah have mercy on him) said: If someone gives a gift to the Muslims on these festivals and that is contrary to his habit at all other times apart from this festival, then his gift is not to be accepted, especially if the gift is something that is used to imitate them, such as giving candles and the like at Christmas, or giving eggs, milk and lambs on Maundy Thursday, which comes at the end of their fast (Lent). Similarly, no gift should be given to any of the Muslims on these festivals because of the festival, especially if it is something that is used to imitate them, as we have stated above. The Muslim should not sell the things that Muslims could use to imitate them on that festival, such as food, clothing and the like, because that is helping them in doing evil. Iqtida’ Siraat al- Mustaqeem, p. 227. And he (may Allaah have mercy on him) also said: As for the Muslim selling them things that they use for their festivals, such as food, clothing, herbs and the like, or giving those things to them, that is a kind of helping them to celebrate their haraam festival. This is based on the principle that it is not permissible to sell to the kaafirs grapes or juice that they can use for wine, and it is not permissible to sell them weapons with which they can fight the Muslims. Iqtida’ al-Siraat al- Mustaqeem, p. 229 Ibn al-Qayyim (may Allaah have mercy on him) said concerning the festivals of the People of the Book: Just as it is not permissible for them to celebrate them openly, it is not permissible for the Muslims to help them in that or attend with them, according to the consensus of the scholars. This was stated clearly by the fuqaha’ who follow the four imams, in their books. Then he (may Allaah have mercy on him) quoted the words of the imams of the madhhabs and the prominent scholars.

What should one do if one's neighbour serve one with chrismas food on the 25th of December. Should we pour away the food or should we reject it even if rejecting it can cause misunderstanding with them
