Quite informative the posts here. . . . .but am particularly glad about one thing - the constant referral to the whole idea by the original, trouble-free toga of "Non-interest banking". . . . .if our leaders / policy-makers had any sense, this issue should never have been publicly introduced as "Islamic banking" knowing the suspicious nature of the Nigerian society at anything perceived to be ethnically or religiously motivated. |
Doesn't completely put the 'Wembley disaster' to bed. . . . .but at the very least, puts at the mind of every UTD person that we can beat FCB if we just play our own game! |
by October or November 2011/2012 session should commence there! |
FUT.Akure is almost at the end of the second semester. . . . . . .i think exams would have started ~ so guess they are pretty much on point! |
Lindegaard eyes top spothttp://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story/_/id/938105/anders-lindegaard-eyes-top-spot?cc=5739 |
As far as I'm concerned, Lindegaard is the *ish ~ whoever recommended that guy to SAF should be given a raise. . . . .he is so damn composed, just looking at him is enough to inspire confidence. His handling so far is good; yes he hasn't really been tested as such but as a goalie is mentally strong enough to keep his head, he is just a short way from being class. I still say it is not too late to send De Gea right back to Madrid - hate to see that after all that money splashed, he will be warming the bench! |
Hotie Tima:vely possiburu. . . . . .in fa'tu possicant! my ruv for u is bigger than biggie ~ i say e splead wilili'walala rikes rekki and iregushi beash combines togethers ![]() |
Hotie Tima:kai. . . . . .dis ya engrish na im ndi'oyinbo dey call 'spectacura', frawress. Chai see as i dey tlip flom vely far away! Nna baby u has captivalushun my hearts - i swear to Gods i no hungly agains, u don berre full me finish! ![]() |

As far as the 'transfer muppetry' goes. . . . . . please return De Gea to Athletico Madrid and collect our money back; I am liking this Lindegaard fellow - plus God knows that dough can buy us some good options upfield! ![]() |
medjai:I doubt that. . . . . .never mind that you are holders of the trophy, this is the last time FCB is getting any form of invite from FC Bollywood - not even the U-11s ![]() |
FC Bollywood outplayed, outclassed, oupassed by a second string FCB. . . . . . . Schweini must be having 'Spanish' nightmares right now. ![]() |
C'mon, this is so unfair ~ y'all is just selfish, what do you need CF4 for; when you already got TA4 ~ f.cuk it. . . . . . . gosh, even the German national woulda lost to that team last night! ![]() |
@ coogar / dayo, forget Aberdeen. . . . .Fergie has spent how long in UTD now!!? Questioning Messi's ability to do what he does with Barca in another club is almost in parallel with questioning Fergie! |
Even 'fat' Ronaldo said it once before ~ "I am footballer not a sprinter!" ![]() |
By saying Messi should go outside Barca is almost akin to saying SAF, AW should repeat their achievements outside their present forts before they can be considered in the lights of the 'greats' ~ ridiculous! |
What Messi has or has not won; where he has played or has not played is not the issue here. . . . . . . . .what he does with the ball is at his feet is all the evidence of his quality! |
coogar:are u saying Messi isn't hungry for success to argentina or he isn't important to both barca & argentina!!? |
coogar:Definitely. . . . . .we all see the way he plays, the edge, the influence he weilds his team, thats all there is to know - not all the greats we constantly mention, won everything in football ~ but their importance to their teams, thats what made 'em the stand=outs in their respective teams! |
coogar:But how did Weah become WPOTY ~ by virtue of his performances for Liberia ![]() |
like tinubu omo saka, my people na so i take waka, kuru' kere join fiki' faka, i no follow anybody taa'ka, even sef bone shenkes with dem heavy baa'ka, ontop the hassle matter na im i dey kpai'ka! ![]() |
For y'all who keep referencing Argentina's lack of success and equating as yardstick for assessing the value, effectiveness of Messi ~ recall a certain George Opong Weah!!? |
Dayo, please come forth and defend/comment on this subtle allegation An even better option would be Bastian Schweinsteiger, but I very much doubt that transfer would ever materialise for two reasons. Firstly, he signed a new contract last season, so he’d cost an absolute fortune – probably more than what it would cost to sign Wesley Sneijder. Secondly, the medical team at United are all too aware of what happened the last time we bought a dynamic midfielder from Bayern Munich. ![]() |
Anderson is faced with a similar situation. Once heralded as the new Ronaldinho, those comparisons now appear accurate for all the wrong reasons considering Ando’s dodgy haircut, dodgy dancing and increasingly poor fitness levels. If you take a cursory look at footage of Ando in his Porto days, you will see a dangerous player who bursts into the box before hammering the ball past the ‘keeper. Look at footage of him in a United shirt and you’ll see him saunter into the final third at a pace which is can described as glacial at best, before releasing a tame toe poke in the direction of the corner flag. ![]() |
montelik:Funniest part for me is: Then the following season, he quickly went from looking like a major asset to looking like a massive a*se. There are many conspiracy theories as to why his star has fallen. The most likely of those theories is that he was played out of position. He was given too much responsibility – primarily a defensive minded midfielder, in the seasons post 2008/9, some argue that he’s been under pressure to offer more creatively and this theory would explain why his efforts to switch the play with a 40 yard cross field ball resemble something more akin to a personalised attack on the linesman. Being made to play in such a way has diluted his defensive influence on the team and if you add the fact that he seemed to play almost every game into the mix – its no wonder that he’s been struck down with a serious case of man flu – the poor guy must have been exhausted. ![]() |
If we are not getting Sneijder, Modric or whatever. . . . maybe we should start considering priming Rooney for a midfield role! |
I still the Japs were a tad lucky in regulation time. . . . .shoulda been 3 or 4 down before the halftime interval! I just love the way the Yanks play to their strengths, stoke city stylee, no mucking around ~ long balls into the din for Wambach to power onto, but the Japs were able to cope for most parts sha. . . . . great game! |
