folks lets cut d dude some slack. . . . up to dat point, there was li'l or no complaints which means he did a decent job - he allowed the game to flow and was put his foot down when he needed to be stern. . . . all in all, he was in total control of the game & i don't see why all dis criticism 4 sake of 1 bad call - haba lets be fair to d lad!

the USA needs to stop this habit of playing from behind if it wants to go far in the world cup

at least they know they have the ability to come back from a deficit & that will make 'em confident in whatever situation they find themselves - we've seen france, spain, germany, nigeria, south africa go behind and could not come back. . . . me thinks, teams that cannot claw their way back into games like this do not stand a chance of going far in the WC.
I wait to see how the likes of brazil & argentina respond if they are behind on the score count - it's really the ultimate test of a teams strength!

Probably the most entertaining match of the WC yet. . . . great play from both teams & the shooting was particularly good and accurate most times; a relief to watch after all the jabulani-induced eye-soring shots we'd seen in earlier games!

Slovenia might well be on their way out by letting this 2-goal lead slip. . . england looms up ahead for 'em & the USA would be optimistic of getting all 3pts against the very volatile, inconsistent & unpredictable Algerians.

my word. . . . all the best shots from long range in this WC so far have all been played in this game. . . . american wonder & slovenia thunder don counter-balance jabulani magic oh!

What was that defender - Suler thinking        he's lucky to get away with only a yellow, it coulda been a sending off, no intention to play the ball whatsoever, he just pushed Altidore over!

Altidore still had plenty to do if he'd latched onto that Donovan thru pass. . .  no need to wrestle him down; absolutely no need!

Onyewu has got to be the dumbest defender in the WC. . . even when unopposed he just thumps the ball back into the opposition's possession - so much for keep ball!

The way they performed, the chances they created and the fact that they were not leading when they got the red card. Losing is the same but the effort you put not to lose is commendable.

c'mon. . . . the ghanians were far from spectacular & only just got a lucky break. . . . i mean, check am - serbia got a red card & a very unfortunate PK against 'em & thats why ghana lost. ghana might well find it difficult to beat the aussies tonight! Me thinks the serbs are the real deal in this group even if they don't end up topping or even qaulifying!
