Hope Evans will be alright oh |
The one sure thing we could get off that Spurs defeat, was that Rooney should be our #10 not Kagawa; at least not so early in the Japs UTD career. . .physically he cannot compete in there. Rooney on offers Carrick and that back-4 a bit of cover we've been lacking with his energy and willingness to track-back and tackle! Cleverly offers a bit of that too, but he's not a very strong lad! |
RuuDie: Will the naysayers now please cut ![]() |
2. . . Captain Fantastic - EVVVVRRRAAAA! ![]() |
Yeah, yeah, yeah. . .Danny Welbeck, yet again! ![]() |
Will the naysayers now please cut J.Evans some slack!!!? ![]() |
And Evans makes it one . . .rising MAJESTICALLY to meet that ball! |
Welbeck. . . well, why am I not surprised!? Can't even vex again when the guy starts to play that his rubbish! |
coogar: make una leave evra alone jare - i know he can be a Arrow but we don't offer him any sorta protection as well. all the united players who we put ahead of evra all live drifting inside and leaving evra exposed. young, welbeck, nani, rooney, giggs! none of these guys stretches the play or stay on the touchline(like valencia) so it's a massive task for evra not to make errors!Spot on jare. . .only Young gives Evra any semblance of defensive support when he plays, but unfortunately he offers nothing of such going forward - something of a "black Milner"! |
montelik: Nice to see Hernandez is improving his overall/link-up play so far this season. [s]Welbeck also seems to make decisions faster as well[/s]. See what competition can do. Lets hope Fletcher is totally and fully recovered to push Carrick and co in midfield.Oh, do not get me started! |
Well, my parents aren't originally from Lagos but I am born and bred Lagos. From an infant till now that I am working, I "legally" reside in Lagos. . . if this doesn't earn me the right to be seen as a LAGOSIAN. . . ![]() |
coogar: you're done because each of the points you have raised got demolished! nani is a beast on his day - we don't have another player like him.[b] only van persie and rooney have more market value than nani in the whole united squad! No disputing this, infact, it is the GOSPEL TRUTH. . . but please can this his [b]DAY come more frequently than once in every 15-20 fixtures!!? Damn! it's like waiting for Jeezus!!! |
debosky: Bruh. . .your type will accept consistent mediocrity over the potential to achieve fantastic heights albeit at unpredictable intervals.Yes. . .the very reason why we have yet to go 7-trophyless seasons or anything close to that! |
Coogar. This one is for you ![]()
|
QUOTE OF THE DAY:Yeah, for shizzy, thats my nig'zzy - the ever-reliable Evra! ![]() |
I ask again, what good is a "maverick" if we have to wait (6 * the average interval between an adult female's period) month to get a decent, MOTM performance from him!!? I've said this before and will continually echo it --- je'jely give me my average Walcott, Eagles even Milner sef and I will be happy --- at the very least I won't die of a heart-attack borne of utter frustration and disappointment! |
montelik: Lindegaard, Rafael, Ferdinand, Evans, Evra, Valencia, Carrick, Giggs, Nani, Kagawa, Van Persie. Not a bad line-up! |
So Coogar is here again defending Torres just like he is defending his Maverick on the United thread. . .I laff in OBJ! ![]() ![]() ![]() |
montelik: My preffered line-up.Kagawa on the strength that he seems to be developing some kind of understanding with RVP Buttner just so we don't have to be distracted by the Evra-Suarez row ontop of Hillsborough matter wey still dey ground Tentatively, I'd look at the possibility of starting with Giggs rather than Nani. Age aside, the Baba still knows how to put a cross in the box where it'd hurt the opposition the most and in far fewer attempts too! Nani and Hernandez can be useful subs when the game has advanced and there are tired legs all over the park. . . .and for the love of God, please no DW19, not in this game abeg! |
Delafruita: how about the reality of the fact that humans are also doomed to hell.Unlike the devil, humans can be saved! |
coogar: he was the best player on the pitch despite the penalty miss - on another day, he would have copped about 5 goal assists. was valencia even on the pitch last night?Kai! ![]() |
Maybe if we listened to the lyrics of the song a bit more seriously, maybe then we'd get a sense of what the song and video potray! |
darefestus: Its tym u lay off wateva it is u've been smoking. There is a more purposeful winger in Valencia, but technically Nani is the veri best in the league.Which Ligue. . .the one you dey play ontop PS!? Abeg carr'ey waka! |
chamotex: You need a dirty slap!Dey slap make I see nah. . . .Your Fa'da! |
debosky: Sam Allardyce would take Grant Holt and Andy Carroll over RVP or Tevez, but does that mean the former two are better than the latter two?Thank you very much. In his books, they are and why!? Because, even with their limited ability, they'd do a decent job, the way he wants 'em to and fairly regularly too! What's the use of having an ultra-talented player who only "shows up" at certain times like a woman's period!!? |
On the contrary I think City overrated Madrid! They were scared and didn't play to their full attacking potential. . .they might not have UCL experience but man-for-man, they have enough quality to take the game to Madrid far more effectively than they did last night. From splotches of play in that first half when City passed the ball around, didn't hurt Madrid though, but it showed their ability because Madrid pressed and couldn't get the ball, they also had men advancing into good positions and finding gaps in the midfield. That Real team don't have a defence, get past the midfield and they'll be in 6's and 7's at the back! Maicon and the #33 fellow had no business in that game and they sat way too deep all through. Real were lucky --- but I guess deserved that bit of luck for their industry. . . but still on still, I don't think this will be one of their more memorable seasons, something is just not right about 'em! |
onila: dont mind them drunkard, thief, theif camerooniansNow what has this got to do with the people of Cameroon. . .their lawyers presented their case, same as our lawyers - shouldn't you rather be venting your spleen on our so-called SAN's who could't do their business properly!? |
debosky: Still waiting for the information on a better winger in Europe by the way.Don't push your luck too far son. . . right there in the EPL, I would take a Lennon, Young, Jarvis, Milner, Walcott and even f*cking Derbyshire over Nani! |
Nani is worth 32 million what. . .bushels or shillings!!? I laff in Zibzonian ![]() Am waiting to see how much Pep was willing to "splash" on him! |
Nice words from Le' Prof; truly professional and exemplary! |
Impossible to explain Van Persie losshttp://uk.eurosport.yahoo.com/blogs/arsene-wenger/impossible-explain-van-persie-loss-063243582--sow.html |
