Berbatov -> Juve, Florentina, QPR, Fulham, now Spurs. . .the speculations are quite rife now; where is this dude really going to!!?
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: Classico:ronaldo's Backheel And Goal Vs Messi's Curling Freekick by RuuDie(m): 9:23am On Aug 31, 2012
!
naturalwaves: I watched d highlight of that match and I will pick Ronaldo's backheel, vision on d ball(he had his eyes on d ball wen it went up),superb ball control which brought d ball to a dead stop before shooting right there on d spot without moving.
"brought the ball to a dead-stop". . .for real!!?

CR7's ball-control before he pulled the trigger was anything but classic; for a pro, almost atrocious - he didn't 'kill' that ball properly and almost lost it in that moment.
Watch Berbatov and you will better understand what "dead-sstop" ball-control is!

Car TalkRe: New Lagos Traffic-Law Catches First-Victim - Bullion Van Driver by RuuDie(m): 2:57pm On Aug 30, 2012
Citing this as an example. . .isn't this reasonable enough punishment!!?

The fastest driver ever caught in a routine speed check in the UK has been sentenced to 10 weeks in jail.
Timothy Brady, 33, of Earls Crescent, Harrow, north-west London, pleaded guilty at Oxford Crown Court to dangerous driving.
Brady was clocked at 172mph in a Porsche 911 Turbo in a 70mph zone on the A420 in Oxfordshire on 27 January.

He was banned from driving for three years and will have to take an extended driving test to get another licence.

Desola: Don't be silly! That is such a lame excuse for not punishing an offender - "is there even space availale in those prisons" what an argument!

I wonder if you would be so concerned about the stupid stigma if he had hit you - an innocent pedestrian. What irrational mentality! The same law that is seeking to protect you and your rights as a pedestran or road user is the same one you're kicking against. I just don't understand Naija people.
No one is advocating for the guy to go Scot-free!

Something tells me you don't even reside in Lagos; if you do, I hope you have access to cars and drive regularly. . . and one day, get caught in something very inconsequential as accidentally beating a traffic light or intruding into the wrong lane, then spend just one month kpe're in prison - let me see if you'll still come here and hold this same views!

PoliticsRe: Nonso-Maduakor Wrongfully Charged For Cynthia's Murder by RuuDie(m): 9:41am On Aug 30, 2012
2mch: This is where the guy killed his case. He cannot claim ignorance about the drug, or the fact that it required a doctor's prescription. he has confessed this with his own mouth. The police are only guilty of nollywood acting. The burden of proof is now on Nonso to prove that he did not conspire with the killers or does not belong to this syndicate. cool. The bolded also shows he was working there at the time the girl was killed. The police did all this to catch him and make his prosecution swift. Now he cannot deny selling to those guys.
And what about these other parts. . .funny how people just only see what they want to see and turn the blind eye to others!

"I just started my pharmacy internship at 'Oxpharm', a pharmacy in Festac about two months ago. Last week Monday (20/08/12), I was doing my job when a middle aged man walked into the pharmacy and made complaints of persistent generalized body pains and difficulty with sleeping as a result of an accident he had some weeks back. The individual then specifically requested for the drug Rohypnol® (Flunitrazepam). I then asked for the Doctors prescription. The individual said he had none but begged that he really needs the drug to help his condition because all others did not give him relief. I still refused but after much begging and after profiling the individual as one who was not at risk to addiction to the drug, I sold the individual 1 satchet of drug and counselled him to see a doctor. After which I recorded the purchase of the drug in the Pharmacy's register.

About 3-5 minutes after the individual left the pharmacy, hefty men numbering up to five in mufti who did not identify themselves stormed into the pharmacy and pounced on me (Nonso), rough-handled me and took me to Festac police station.".....Nonso

KDULAR: Gentlemen reAD AND BE INFORMED THAT UNDER THE LAW GUIDING PRESCRIPTIONS OF DRUGS. THE SAID DRUG IN QUESTION DOES NOT REQUIRE A PRESCRIPTION FROM A DOCTOR. THEREFORE, THE GUY HAS NOT DONE ANYTHING WRONG MY SOURCE THE DDA ( SCHEDULE 4 DRUGS UNDER THE DDA) . I've been reading through from the first page and no one seemed to take note or responded to the info you passed - this should be the third or fourth time you're reiterating this now! It seems all folks do is read the headline or topic and get lost in the emotions of first impression!
PoliticsRe: Nonso-Maduakor Wrongfully Charged For Cynthia's Murder by RuuDie(m): 8:17am On Aug 30, 2012
elimokhai: Circumstances, the pharmacy Nonso was doing his internship was in the same jurisdiction where the crime took place. Same reason why he needs a GOOD LAWYER, incompetency in the Nigeria police force has killed so many Nigerians. In Nigeria if you are arrested in a crime scene, automatically you are a criminal, no cctv, no forensic science to bail you out. This is not America, not Europe where every police stations have their own forensic department.
Very true. . .to the NPF, anyone present hundreds of meters to the scene of an incident is guilty, not even a suspect!

coogar: they don't even need hummels - it's an overkill. ryan shawcross and koscielny would do a job at barcelona! why go for a world class defender when only real madrid are the only team capable of mopping the floor with their face in europe?
Then again. . .it probably only happens two or three times in ten, I wonder why they worry so much - just get one or two of the B-team lads up in there for support!

Sun of god: Na lie . . . Fashola sent the text.

Maybe he sent it to a number in his phone book in error and he's trying to cover up with this bogus story.

I think his phone records for the last 4 years need to be looked into - along with Tinubu.
Might well be the only sensible post here - why raise such an alarm when from all indications, it is fairly easy to track down the alleged culprits!?

The day I made the phrase "...a 45 mins to remember" popular in my hood!

At OT half-time, 0-2 down to Spurs. I even put 3k of my money on the line that UTD would win - so sure I was that I told the other fella if the game ended in a draw, he could have the money and more, they would have some drinks on me. We were at a bar watching the game, many thought I was high off alcohol and laughed at me when I staked the cash.
...my exact words to them wer "SAF's Red Army are about to give me a 45mins to remember!"...and by God, it was!
